I’m excited to release Part two of my House Tour video! 🙂 In this video, you’ll get to see how I created a Nerf gun wall, how I organize my pantry and more! Did you miss part one of my House Tour video? Click HERE to watch.

The main questions I usually receive when posting these house tour videos is regarding paint colors. With that said, here is a list of the main colors I have used in my home. I hope this is helpful.

Basement Color – Lazy Gray SW 6254 – Sherwin-Williams
Kids Bathroom Color – Exciting Orange SW 6647 – Sherwin-Williams
Master Bathroom Color – Cascade Green SW 0066 – Sherwin-Williams
Main Floor/Living Room/Kitchen – Dovetail SW 7018 – Sherwin-Williams AND Network Gray SW 7073 – Sherwin-Williams

(Prior to living in the home I’m in now, I lived in a very tiny house and actually did a video HERE on that home and shared some great space saving tips.)

Love it! Thank You, Your home is beautiful!

  4. td

is it rude to ask…how many square feet is your new house? curious what you are working with to create such an open, uncluttered home. it is SO beautiful!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Around 2,500 sq ft and thanks for the sweet comment! 🙂

      • td

same as our new house…now i have crazy amounts of inspiration from you! thanks so much!

      • homeschoolingjedis

Wow! Our home is bigger in sq.ft. but your home looks so much bigger inside with the way you’ve decorated and have your organization. I need to step it up, we seem to have zero space, or so it feels that way. Love your video by the way and thank you for answering the sq.ft. question because I always wondered too. :p

  5. Betsy

    Awesome video!!!

  6. Heather C

Love the peeks into your life, Collin. I also feel soooo much better when things are organized!

  7. Daphne

Love this video and I’ve loved your daily outfits on IG too! Next video series should be about your side-kicks/co-workers/friends that help you out….unless they like to stay behind the scenes! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

LOL! I totally agree… they definitely like to try and stay behind the scenes, but I think they totally need to be in a future video and/or Instagram pic! 😉

  8. Melanie

Is that Brynn and your other helper? Thanks for letting us see your beautiful house!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yep… my sister, Bryn, and my friend, Amanda, who both are a BIG part of Hip2Save! 🙂

  9. Len

I love the framed chicken wire to hang your jewelries. Once again, another awesome video. Watching it makes me want to clean & clean & organize my house. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house us. You’re definitely an inspiration!!

  10. Irene

  11. betsy

These videos are awesome, and I think you are an organizational genius! My house needs serious help in that department. How did you come up with all of these cool ideas?!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Well, Pinterest definitely helps to inspire me AND I have an older sister (Marley) who is amazing at design and organization. She helped me out big time! 🙂

  12. Audra

I want your confidence and sense of humor!

  13. T

I love your videos. You are ao much fun. Your bef is gorgeous!!!! I have looked high and low for a reasonable tuffed bed frame. Do you remember where you got yours? Thanks.

    • T

Clearly I did not proof read before hitting publish. Sorry. That should have said “so much fun” and your bed is gorgeous. 😜

  14. Steph

So cute…but you might want to think about pulling your couch out from the wall a bit more. It’s not good having seating (or a bed) up close to a wall that houses such a heavy-duty refrigerator on the opposite side (high EMF).

    • Audra

I’m confused by this…. pleas explain. I’m curious what you mean.

      • Steph

“EMF” stands for electromagnetic field. All electric appliances put out EMFs to various degrees, refrigerators being one of the worst because of their heavy-duty electric motor. The back of a refrigerator is where the field is strongest (and EMFs pass through walls easily), so it’s good not to have a sofa or bed up against a wall where a refrigerator is directly on the other side. The good thing is that EMFs do drop off quickly with distance (usually within three or four feet with larger appliances), so it just requires identifying the sources in your home and arranging the furniture accordingly. (The concern with EMFs is the growing scientific belief that high EMF exposure may be linked to certain illnesses, including cancer.)

        • kelly

Informative, Steph. Thank u for sharing.

  15. phoward336

Love the nerf gun wall! I am going to find a place for that in our basement for sure.

  16. Kristen

I just watched part 1, I guess I missed that last week? I noticed on Piper’s wall she had a little Honduras purse, and I LOVE it! Last week I was on my third trip down there with a medical team, so I just had to comment that I love seeing stuff like that!! How awesome!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I love that type of stuff too! 🙂 It’s a little souvenir that my dad brought her from a trip he went on.

  17. Ger

Collin, you are a genius! I have to do the chicken wire jewelry holder, is there something behind the wire?

  18. diane

so when did you move out of the first house? floor space is bigger in this house.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, this house is much bigger than the house we lived in previously. We’ve been in this house for about 2 years.

  19. Kimberly

Collin I just love your kitchen!! Are your cabinets blue or gray?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The color is actually called I think eggshell – it’s like a mix of a blue/green color (kinda hard to explain).

  20. Serena

Love everything, you are so fun Collin!

  21. harlow

please update about ur big dog collin? how is is he/she? u still have him or her?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Hi Harlow,

Thanks much for thinking of our dog, Murray. He is doing great…. BUT he now lives with our neighbor. He was constantly running out the door when people would come over AND also running out of our fenced backyard when the kiddos would leave the gate open. My kids constantly have friends over, so doors and gates seem to always be left open. We also learned from the Humane Society that the reason why his previous owner had decided to bring him there was due to him constantly running away. And he’s very fast… I know this because I’ve had to chase him down the street numerous times. 😉

We love Murray and are happy that he now lives in a loving home nearby.

  22. Kathleen

Oh, Collin… so nice of you to open your home to us! You’re awesome! Love your videos! BTW… love your house!!!!

  23. Adina

Loved the video – thanks! keep them coming please!

  24. Bobbie

Yay, thanks for these home tour videos, feel free to make even more in the future! 🙂 Lots of good tips in them, especially everything related to organizing! I’m curious, looks like some of your windows have no curtains/blinds, any particular reason?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

We have blinds on most of our windows – they are just pulled up to let the sunlight in. 🙂

  25. April

Your color schemes are great. Would you be willing to list the paint colors and which room it’s in? Definitely going to do the Nerf, chalk board and jewelry ideas. Thank you for sharing.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I actually shared the main paint colors we used in our home in the post above (just below the video). Hope that helps!
