Can I only use the coupon on things that will fit in the bag or can I get as much as I want?
You don’t need to literally fill the bag. The bag may be given when checking out, rather than just out somewhere, depends on store.
As much as you want. It’ll actually ring up free with card. I used my 30% coupon earlier in the wk and the store I went to, didn’t have the bags. Stopped in this morning to grab a few things and there was a whole endcap and my fave cashier told me to grab one before they disappear again. I thought I needed the coupon and she said nope, and it did ring up 0.00!
Just to clarify, is the bag just attached to having a card OR do you need to have at least 1 CVS branded item for bag to ring up 0.00?

The 30% off coupon wouldn’t work on a B1G1 or B1G1 50% because it is considered a sale item and you can’t use it on a sale item. HTH 🙂

So I haven’t been getting any coupons from the magic machine other than the ones that everyone gets which is only like 2. I’ve saved over $1500 and since then I don’t get any more what can I do??

It seemed like this problem started last year, I had to get a new cvs card 🙁
After you have been a loyal customer for a certain period of time, your card becomes “dead.” The only thing to do at that point is get a new card, but use a different email address than the one for the previous card. Once you get a new card, it will take about a month to start getting the good MCM coupons, and email coupons.
I have seen comments, that the card is new and nothing prints/shows online, seems to be everyone, no matter where they are. It seems they still are ‘testing’ promotional offerings.
On the suave body wash deal, wouldn’t that actually be a moneymaker? (If you’re store auto deducts) if not, I’m still getting .15 total after ECB, What am I doing wrong? 2.77×6= 12.46 (with buy one get one half off) minus $2.77×3= 4.15, get back $4 ECB
The calculation is based on the free one coming off at the 1/2 off price. ($1.38 vs $2.77) I’ve never had a cashier give me the 1/2 priced item as free. They always take the max value off.

KL220 I don’t think you can. It says so on the bottom of my similar coupons. ” limit of one purchase-based coupon, i.e.,$4 off $20 purchase, per transaction”. Check the bottoms of the coupons to make sure.
So you cannot use a $4 off $10 razor along with a $1 off $5 candy in the same transaction?
Those are 2 separate department categories, and will work since you have to purchase $5 in candy + $10 in razors. What’s tricky is using a department coupon + a general purchase coupon. *Sometimes* the register will accept both, other times not. Some offers will come up red on the screen and the cashier cannot override. But if it’s yellow the cashier can apply the offers. As an example, a few wks ago, I had a $10/$50 email offer that I printed. I also had a $4/$20 razor purchase and $1/$5 pain relief offers for the red box.. The register accepted the $4 off & $1 off. But kicked the $10 off. The cashier couldn’t make it work. I wound up voiding the offer, just buying the razors separate. Regrouped and used the $10 off later in the wk, which I still had trouble, but eventually the cashier got it to work. But the wk before last, I was able to stack the $5/15 cosmetics with $7/22 Physician’s Formula purchase on a $24 purchase with no issues.
yes you can but make sure you handed the 10/30 first and you can have a coupon for each other item you have and it should be okey … what you can’t use 10/30 and 5/20 just an example .
Long time CVS’er here and pretty good about getting things free or almost free every time I shop there 🙂 But tonight I decided to check my Rewards online and found a couple strange things. One said: Free Gold Emblem Gummy Bears. Exp 12/31/20. You’ve made 1 purchase towards this offer. Complete the required purchase(s) to unlock your coupon. Another said the same thing about Free Total Home Softener. And another for Free Absolutely Divine Chocolate 3.5oz. Can anyone explain what the heck that means? What is “required purchase(s)?” No clue if I even bought one or if I did, no clue when. LOL! Thanks for any info 🙂
I got the same type of thing for Metamucil saying I made 1 purchase towards the coupon (never have bought it). The offer coincided with me not getting the normal Extracare coupons; I only have this strange one in the list. I’m tempted to buy Metamucil just to see what happens!!

I tried the cvs any brand 30% off coupon last week. What a disaster! I bought 5 products totalling $15. Turns out after I purchased, 2 did not qualify because they were on sale ( no shelf tag), and the other 3 I had coupons for, so i figured the 30% would be based off my total cost after coupons. They must have deducted ECB from the cost as well, because my discount was: .02 ?!?
If ECB is used, %Q will deduct after ECB deduction. Example: Total is $10, Used $7ECB, 30% Q will deduct from $3 only. The register automatically adjusts by deducting %Q last. ECB is no longer treated like a cash payment, it’s treated like an instore coupon.
‘Sale’ item doesn’t need a yellow weekly tag. The regular price could be 2 for x amount etc. is still considered on ‘sale.’
Percentage off comes off AFTER any CVS coupon and CVS ECB – like forced print, some are manufacturer’s now, MFG would be on it. It’s BEFORE true manufacturer coupons. You can email CVS for an explanation, pertaining to your receipt.
Would you mind breaking down your receipt, what items you purchased, prices and coupons used? Sometimes the % off does not calculate properly.
ECBs that are earned from the weekly ad, are not true CVS coupons and do not affect % offers, UNLESS it’s a force print. True CVS coupons are Beauty Bucks, Pharmacy Rewards & Quarterly Bucks. If you used any of those, it would prorate the % off. Any coupon that starts with a ‘4’ is also a true store coupon, like printables, home mailers or the rare in store booklet coupons.

The newspaper q is coded wrong, if you have the ipq it’s reportedly ringing as $1.
It became so hard to use coupons at CVS. I tried to use my Nature Made $7 rewards program coupon expiration date 7/29 and one store manager told me the coupon expired and the new register system won’t take it, without scan it. So I went to another CVS store and the cashier called the manager over and took a while for the manager to said the coupon is valid when the cashier scanned the coupon and the screen did show up the coupon expired and won’t take. Cashier called the manager again and she manually took the amount off. What a pain! I decided to use my other $7 and $3 Nature Made reward program coupons at Kroger on the way home without any problems.
I used mine last week and they scanned just fine.
