   Hipsters please advise: I want these deals but don’t need for back to school and want to stay out of the way of shoppers and not consume needed supplies but want for the grandbaby-when are the AFTER going-back-to-school sales lol? Would love to score at 70% off TY!!

  I am an art teacher so I usually buy a lot of these markers when they go on sale cheap. The students fly through markers since I switch them out as soon as they begin to fade. That being said, I hate to hog them all so I buy some at the beginning of the sale and then head back at the end for any leftovers. There is typically plenty to go around so I am sure you can buy several packs and not be considered stingy. I also would not wait for clearance. You probably won’t find crayola markers and they are the best.

   last year, i was able to grab a ton of school supplies at 90% off at Target in mid-september… haha only way i could remember is because posted about it https://dapperdeals.weebly.com/deals/target-back-to-school-clearance-up-to-90-off
   it’s really great was able to get glue for under 5 cents and composition notebooks for under 10 cents!

   Last year I didn’t find much on clearance in my area — it’s a crapshoot. I think it would be better to buy a reasonable quantity now. I have a 2.5 year and 2 or 3 sets of markers will last until next summer. It is so thoughtful of you to think of the families who have kids in school.

   I don’t have a staples in my area, so I wanted to comment on the washable markers.
   WALMART has the crazy-art brand of washable markers for 50 cents 🙂

   Does anyone know if Staples will do price matching with Office Depot if the Office Depot deal is in an upcoming weekly ad (starts Sunday)? I’m planning to go to Staples tomorrow, but Office Depot has some good stuff starting Sunday.
