May be mistaken but I’m reading that carafe is not included?
Very confusing! I just re-read the info about the Keurig 2.0 K250 Brewing System and I do see that the very bottom of the page states that the carafe is not included (although it is listed as included at the top). I just went ahead and updated the post.
Some are cheaper because the carafe is not included. Last time the best buy one did not include the carafe but did include the kcarafes, which now I have no idea what to do with them since I don’t have a carafe
You can find it cheap when kohls has their 30% sale coupled with free shipping and $$ amount off
I just received my order and everything that was pictured including the carafe I received!!! I had no problem using the code provided plus free shipping. This was a great deal!!!! Thank you HIP2SAVE!!!!
Oops I got the 500
That’s my interpretation as well. I see nothing on the Keurig web site indicating that the 250 comes with a carafe (a $26 at Walmart for the stainless-steel model). Still quite a good deal, almost as good as the Best Buy deal (which cost more but was offset by the generous extras).
Yes, it does come with the carafe!! Just received my order today!
My first generation Keurig just broke last week, they have a lifetime guarantee. They sent me a mini for free yay!
When my 1st generation one broke last month i called and they told me that it was only under warranty for one year. They offered me a discount on a new one but it was not much of a discount. I got a better model at Sam’s for cheaper than the discount Keurig offered me. Wish I would have known they had a lifetime guarantee I would have argued with them more.
My friend bought the 2.0 model and the needle would clog after every use and we called the company and they said it has to be cleaned weekly with a tool they sent us for free but after he got the tool it still clogged after every use. So i bought him the k500 and works perfect. Its been about 3 weeks and no clogging, i paid $180 and didnt get the drawer or travel cups
If anyone wants a carafe, staples has one for 18 dollars in case you’re like me and bought the best buy one and have a bunch of carafe (two boxes were actually expired) pods that you need to use up.
Can you use regular K-cups with it as well as off brand k cups?
No, you can’t. There is a special infared reader that will only let you use authorized Keurig K cups. This is why I haven’t switched brewers yet
Yes you can actually. It’s called a freedom clip.
I have a few Freedom Clips, When you order San Francisco Bay One Cup coffee they include one with each order. This way you can use their coffee in the 2.0! Which I LOVE btw, San Francisco Bay coffee that is 🙂
No, but you can get around it. But it has been a major pain in the rear if you ask me! I had an original, but it was brewing different amounts every time I brewed it, so they sent me the 2.0. I hate it. It reads that it needs water when there is clearly enough water to make one cup of coffee, I can’t turn it off unless I unplug it, and the touch screen seems to only work when you choose what size cup you want to make.
You have to hold the power icon on the screen to power off the brewer. And the sensors in the brewer aren’t going to let the water go below a certain level because it will damage the brewer if it gets air trapped in the lines, that why it asks for more water.
If you want the one with a carafe without having to spend over $100 the k350 is $75 and comes with a carafe. That’s the one I ordered.
Is this a good price of the K500 and the other high-end models? I just starting looking at purchasing a Keurig and want to find a deal!
K500 was $190 at my Target a couple days ago.
I literally just bought the k400 @ Target 2 days ago for $160-$30GC = $130. But haven’t opened it yet! I knew there was a reason! Just ordered the k500! I’ll be much happier! Yay! Thanks for posting this & making my day 1000x better! Can’t wait to get it!
You are so welcome! 🙂
I just ordered this. Then as an after thought I realized that I always use “Perfect Pod EZ-cup” and use my own ground coffee. Can I use this with this new keurig? I sure hope so because I rarely purchase k-cups.
It says it uses K-Cup Sizes: 4, 6, 8, 10 ounce, hope that helps! 🙂
Mine came with different size cups.
Ordered one for my mom for her bday, thanks Colin!
Awesome deal! Thanks was looking for one for my husbands bday! 🙂
The 2.0 is terrible! I have Keurig brand cups it still won’t take. I would definetly upgrade if you can.
Just scored a red k250 for our daughter, for college! Only color left as of this am. Great deal
This was not a valid promo for anyone BUT Dr. Pepper Company Friends & Family. Should not have been out on public website.
