Has anyone done this? Do you choose what you get or do they just send? My son has food allergies and I wonder how this would work. I think the idea is great. We cannot go out to eat because of the allergies and have to cook all our meals and this would help with ideas on what to cook.
From what I read on the website they pick monthly spices and send out. I dont think you get to pick
We have food allergies here too, and I was wondering that … Might have to check the site and see if they label. Sometimes i want to try new things, but don’t necessarily need a whole container of spice to sit in my cupboard for years ….
Hello ladies! From the site’s FAQ, I found this: “Our spice blends typically will not contain nuts, however we do create our spice blends in a facility that works with wheat, nuts, eggs, meat, fish and dairy products.” Hope that helps 🙂

I have a monthly subscription and they choose what is sent out. There is always a theme to what you get. In the example above “Memphis” was the theme. They mail a colorful recipe booklet with the spices.

RawSpiceBar’s product quality was not what I had expected (I had heard great reviews) and the individual spice packets contained less than what was promised on the label (I individually weighed each packet – even if you include the weight of the mini brown envelope, the product delivered was less than what was promised).
I canceled after 1 month – I think, it was a waste of $6 for less than 3 spoons of spice!
