A follow up to my previous post for all these new people who seem to believe what they are told when they call the customer service line. Read the previous posts. No one was notified. No one is getting any resolution. The problem is, we’re all getting the same story and nothing materializes. My “options in the mail” have been coming for months now. I have been told this numerous times by everyone I’ve spoken to. They are obviously reading the words from the same card to get you off the phone. I have been told by at least 3 people replacement choices are Sunset, Real Simple and Essence. I continue to tell them I would like Sunset for a replacement. Mind you I have 41 prepaid issues left on my subscription. Today I received an email that my digital subscription for Real Simple has been activated. When I called them I was told that was what I was getting and by the way, it goes through Sept 2017 only so they cut my subscription by more than half and now it’s for a digital magazine I don’t want. I just got done filing a complaint with the BBB and tomorrow the Attorney General and the FTC will hear from me and by the way, their facebook page has now been pulled down too.

I was told the same except I was told Southern Living Magazine was one of the options, but when I spoke to Southern Living, they told me it was Essence, Sunset and Cooking Light! They are giving us the run around and no refund!!

  2. johanna attinasi

I didn’t hear about this magazine being stopped until one of my friends on Facebook had mentioned it too. I too have an outstanding subscription and I will also be calling them and trying to get an replacement or they will need to give me an reimbursement too

So sorry that they discontinued All You. I had been reading and enjoying it for many years. I had a subscription several years, then I started buyi g it at Wal-Mart. I also told many friends about it. I did not realize that they have cancelled it but I noticed all of a sudden it disappeared at Wal-Mart. I am very disappointed, it was a good magazine for the price. 😞😞😞😞😞😞😞

  4. Marne

I got my refund check after only 10 days! I wasn’t very confident after reading the posts here but I got a refund. I hope the rest of you can say the same soon!

  5. cheryl1502go@aol.com

I did not even know this magazine was closing. I had a subscription, which I guess is null and void. Not very happy.

  6. Phyllis

I received no options or notification. Min

  7. ceejay

I didn’t no that All You had shut down.I was going through some site and came upon a article. Is there another magazine equal to All You.?

  8. M Daugherty

Just received a card in the mail today about the cancellation of All You. The card states that my All You subscription will be honored with a subscription to Real Simple; however, I will not receive my first issue for 9 months! The thing is I have had the Real Simple magazine several times and each time I have cancelled it after a few magazines because I get nothing from it. 🙄

    • Brenda

Me too I cancled it all it was was ads!

    • Meghan Koch

Really, I only have to wait 13 weeks!

    • Nichele

I am with you on this. I have gotten 3 notices now about the subscriptions and that they will be replaced with Real Simple but I’m not impressed with that magazine at all. Would never pay for that one at all. Trying to get my money back instead. We see….

  9. Marydel59

I just received a post card today , about my AllYou
subscription ending because of the cancellation , of the magazine . Now I know why I have been receiving InStyle magazine (not a big fan ) .Nice to be notified 4 months , after the fact .

  10. Patricia Thompson

I am so sorry to hear that All You has ceased publication, but I certainly understand after reading the losses that they had. I received a postcard in the mail yesterday and do not want Real Simple. I’ll be calling the toll-free number on Monday.

  11. Kristina M

Realizing that I had not received a magazine in the past couple months, I logged onto the All You website and found this message…
“We are sorry to inform our readers that the December 2015 issue of ALL YOU will be the final issue.
We want to thank you for your loyal readership and support.
If you have any questions, please call Customer Care at 1-866- 212-9065.”

So I called, and spoke to someone named “Zach”. I was told that that balance of my subscription (3 years paid in full) had been transferred to Real Simple Magazine and that an additional 36 issues had been added to the new subscription, I told him that I had no notice of this, didn’t authorize this and was not satisfied. To which he responded, “what would you like me to do?”.
I told him to cancel the Real Simple subscription and send me a refund. I was told it will take 3-4 weeks. We’ll see.
I was then told before hanging up that I qualified for a reduced rate on Time, or some other magazines, no thanks.

    • Nichele

SO besides teling you what you wanted (like you said we see) they tried to up sell you an new magazine? Really? Wow, pretty ballsy If you ask me (JMHO).

  12. Jeane Young from North Carolina

I agree with the other comments. I received a card yesterday about the changes and that I would receive the issues of Real Simple within 9 months. To the managing company of All You and Real Simple…what is the real story here. You are doing real dirty business by your customers. Will the change for you be unemployment? Why should we have to wait so long for updated issues of a magazine we did not order AND why did it take YOU so long to notify everyone of the changes you made?????

  13. Kara

If you are a current Real Simple subscriber and former All You one as well, check your subscription date. My RS auto renews every May. I get a postcard in the mail for it about a month prior letting me know, I always call the # and cancel, then they offer me the magazine for another year at $2. I noticed that my subscription is showing May 2017 on the label and I haven’t gotten my card for the auto renew. When I logged onto the customer service website there are no recent transactions indicating I have been charged for a renewal yet AND my exp. date is now Feb 2018. I did the chat with cs and the lady said my remaining All You issues were added to Real Simple. So – I haven’t received any notification on behalf of All You or Real Simple letting me know this was taking place, but I am happy that I’m getting something in return.

  14. mrscook88

I was told I was getting Real Simple via postcard as replacement through the end of my subscription. Guess I’ll get that until it’s done and be finished with them after that.

  15. Brenda

Just got my post card today. They will give me Real Simple for the rest of subscription. They gave me a number if I didn’t want it so I called them. I hate real simple and I cancelled the last subscription I had all that magazine is adds! 3 to 4 weeks for a refund. But I got it through the girl scouts so wonder how much I will get back.

  16. Linda

Sad to learn that All You has been discontinued. Sadder still for the employees who lost their jobs. I always enjoyed the articles and looked forward to its arrival with its bright colorful covers. I did receive a postcard just the other day that said I would be receiving Real Simple in its place.

    • Shari

Linda’s attitude is a breath of fresh air. . . . the company is probably doing the best they can under the circumstances.

  17. Cheryl Phillips

My subscription was paid thru April of 2017 and I have heard nothing nor have I received an email or postcard in the mail. I’m pretty angry that I trusted someone to fulfill what I paid for and they have promised that they’d be inj touch with me only to be lied to!! What are my options now besides just eating it and shutting up about being duped? Makes me so mad. No resolution and no one cares!!

  18. Me

I got the postcard for Real Simple or a refund. I just called – took only a few minutes. Refund will take 3 -4 weeks.

Phone number for anyone who needs it is 1-866-914-3403. They did ask for my account number although it’s not on the postcard so just have it ready.

    • Paula

I also received my postcard informing me about the switch to Real Simple. I called and asked for the refund instead.

  19. suzanne skero

Does anyone like Real Simple magazine? I thought it was just me that didn;t like it until I read these comments. It appears to me that there is a strong loyalty (me included) for All You and lots of people NOT liking Real Simple, so how in the world is Real Simple still around? I didn’t know about All You until I realized I wasn’t getting the magazine. I also have a new subscription to Real Simple and was calling to cancel Real Simple only to get my postcard that everyone else got. Seems to me they should stop publishing Real Simple and re-start publishing All You instead! I don’t like Cooking Light either. Cancelling that too!

  20. Barb

I emailed them and got a response offering Real Simple. I told them I didn’t want it. My refund check of $19 arrived on April 16th.

  21. marion pontier

I knew they were ending but that’s all info I got then other magazines arrived and I had no clue who it was from

  22. musiclady420

Well, I called today and asked for a refund. Real Simple magazine is a joke and has zero to no coupons! Horrible magazine. And it is chocked full of ads!
I hope I get my $20 refund. At least some of you got an option they just gave me Real Simple. I wrote a letter to Real Simple and told them that their magazine does not compare to All You!
Not happy at all. I don’t understand how this magazine could be losing money since everyone I know subscribes to it? Geesh, I would have paid more for the subscription if it came down to it. I miss it dearly!

  23. Echo

I did not receive anything not did my sister in law that bought for me as a gift. I enjoyed this magazine and would get it for my mother. The only problem I had is getting it delayed as a delayed in the mail when I bought it as a subscription. But besides that enjoy it 100%. Crazy how they lost money. They didnot replace it with another one either. So who knows.

  24. Nancy elliott

I have a subscription for all you till nov. 2016. Got the Real simple magazine today in replace to the all you . It is packed full of ads. not one coupon. disappointed!

  25. Karen Reichl

Trying to get my refund for over two months. Every time I call I am given a different explanation. The latest is that the check was issued and I have to wait 90 days. Then “they” will check to see if the check was cashed or lost. If cashed, they will send me a copy of the front and back to see who cashed the check. I will then have to request another check. I cannot even begin to imagine what I will have to go through to prove it was not me.

  26. Karen Reichl

I have been trying to get my refund for over two months. Every time I call, I am given a different explanation. The latest is that the check was issued and I must wait 90 days and call back. “They” will then check to see if the check was cashed or is still outstanding. If cashed, I will be sent a copy of the front and back. I cannot even begin to imagine what they will put me through to prove it was not me.

  27. Nichele

I finally got my check for a full refund the other day. However I had to call and ask where my refund was. Didn’t give them the option of not giving it to me. Got $66.00 back because of how long it was through (2017). I know some of these were free subscriptions but hey, I’ll take it. Keep trying to get yours back….

  28. Karlene Greenhow

Very sorry to hear All You has closed, I loved the articles and the magazines. I still have my previous subscriptions. Now to find a new magazine.

  29. salvatoreg79

An impressive share! I’ve just forwarded this onto a coworker who was doing a little research on this. And he actually ordered me dinner because I found it for him… lol. So allow me to reword this…. Thank YOU for the meal!! But yeah, thanx for spending some time to talk about this topic here on your site.
