Does anyone else find kohls original prices ridiculous. Lol. Now don’t get me wrong I love kohls and they put everything on sale all the time but I would never pay full price for anything there.

    • Pixi

      I agree!

    • M

      Yes! Lol

    • M

Went to spend the $10 Fruit of the Loom coupon there yesterday. The pack of tees were $36!!! However, I love their prices after discounts! 😬

    • Lyndie

I definitely agree. We like to hit up the clearance for sure, though!

    • Jean-Marie

Ha!! I always talk to my mom about the ridiculous prices at kohls!!! I won’t shop there unless I get a 30%😀

    • Anna

I saw a thing a while back in the news that they were being investigated by the government for marking prices up so much. They went above the legal amount they can charge consumers.

    • Katie D.

Yes Andrea and there are currently lawsuits against them for it. Google it!

    • 78Brownie

🎵 You are not alone… LOL I totally agree. I really like Khols but some of the price tags will have you reevaluate everything. Like, “Am I poor?”

    • Jennifer

I have never seen anything not on some kind of sale. It’s a scam they use to “trick” people.

    • Dayna

I refuse to buy anything full price there (or at a lot of places for that matter), but I find their shoes to be the most outrageous and they seem to barely go on clearance in my area. I can find good deals on clothes, housewares, etc, but, shoes is a different story!!

    Was it only twin size?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yes.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh wow! What an awesome score Laura! Thanks for sharing.

    • Jean

Yes I picked up a REALLY GREAT FILA backpack for under $10!!

  3. Linda

O man I was just there this morning 🙁 . Little frustrated with them.
I placed an order for store pickup since I don’t have there CC and had a 40% off code for online use only . Well ordered 3 items , 1 item was not in stock when I received the email stating ready for pickup. I go to store and they have the item on the shelf . I go CS and explain to them they have the item and I would like it since really they had it and it was part of my original order . she said I would have to pay for it separate since it was taken off the order and wouldn’t let me use my 40%. I explained that it was taken off the order by your store because you said it wasn’t in stock and again part of my original order .Nope wouldn’t budge she would only let me use 20% current promo . Even the manager said no since 40% was for online only. Yet that’s where I placed the order . Needless to say I didn’t buy it.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bummer. That does sound very frustrating. So sorry to hear that Linda.

    • Lynn L

Linda, I think you have a great case as that item was in the original order and they sent email that they didn’t have and yet on shelf they did. Call corporate. I’ve had great customer care in my experiences. Good luck.

    • Heather

Linda, definitely call Kohls.com, they have AMAZING customer service and have helped me in a similar situation. I wouldn’t be surprised if they reorder it for you with 40% and just send it to your home.

      • Linda

I called kohls.com which I shouldn’t of had to do in the first place but o well. They are ordering it for me but said I would have to pick up in store. I pushed it a little and now they are sending it to me.

        • dealzgurl

I agree about calling corporate. I called them from the store one time and the manager ended up having to give me a $100 gift card because of a problem with a return I had–even though all I wanted was the price I had paid for the item. That’s why I’m not a fan of Kohls cash. Anyway, with the sales, coupons, and the gift card, I ended up with a ridiculous amount of stuff. The manager was mad though.

          • Linda

Wow good for you! It’s hard for me to argue too much in the store. 3 kids get impatient. Store pickup I’m usually in and out. Not today though .

  4. allison

The smell product in Topeka KS is still $55.99

  5. Patty

Kohl’s has always been expensive. I too wait for a 20% or 30% of code. Also, I find that in store sale/clearance prices are much better than online.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for sharing Patty!

  6. Pam

I heard that Macys is going to be the new owner starting February 2016. There are going to be a lot of changes.

    • razziedazzie

really? macy’s is having their own troubles (closing stores, etc)…why would they take over kohls…

  7. Erica

Does a twin xl sheet set also fit a twin HELP lol

    • Sarah

Yes it will if you don’t mind a little extra wiggle room in the center of the sheet. I had a lot XL twins after college that I’ve repurposed on the guest twin.

      • Erica

Ty so much I had no clue but for the price I’m in!

  8. Jennifer

Thank you so much! I just bought 2 of these. My girls needed bedding so bad!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh great Jennifer! So glad you grabbed them! YW!

  9. Amber

North Idaho had several! Knocked that off the ol’ Christmas list! Thanks!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Woohoo! You are very welcome!

  10. rococo

    Yessssss

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      😀

  11. Hollaina

One reason I only shop the clearance at Kohl’s.

  12. Susan

My husband has a theory that they use the same marketing as casinos–intermittent rewards. You are basically playing a game of chance to see how much you win. You dont get the best discount every time, but when you do it feels like a jackpot. I get a literal rush when I enter four codes when shipping online.

    • carol

Purchased the twin comforter set. Got additional 20 percent, paid , paid about$10.00

  13. Ricki

Got it!!!! 🙂 My store had them for $27.99 but I convinced them to check the price at a nearby store which showed up $13.99 so they matched. Then with the 20% off I paid $23.72 for 2 including tax!!! Yay!!!

  14. Rosario

I get two 6 pieces twin sets for $9.50 each, with 20% off !! I’m so happy!! One more time, I love my Hip2save !!! Thanks Collin!

  15. Jamie

These were marked $42 at my store but only $13.99 at the price checker. Thanks sooo much. My daughters room is grey and white chevron so this is so perfect

  16. Kate

I know what im going to do when kids r in bed! Hun… ur watching the kids, mama is off to find a deal! LoL thanks 2 u I’ve been able to deco my room, upgrade to teen for one kid now working on 2nd in line. Younger 2 got the hand me downs, perfect!

  17. Linda S

My Kohl’s in So Cal had 3 on a bottom shelf priced at $27.99. I took 2 and left 1 for another H2Saver. I showed the cashier the H2S scenario on my phone. She checked with her supervisor and I got 2 for $24.17 total after the 20% discount and including tax. I’m going to Nepal next week to do earthquake relief. We need to bring sheets which we’ll leave for the beds at the Bible college where we are staying. So this deal was a great blessing. I’ll try to fit some of the other items in my suitcase but what doesn’t fit will be donated elsewhere. Thank you Collin. I love Hip2Save.
