   I tried to do the Almay deal but the clerk said the coupon wouldn’t work on clearance items.

   It works on clearance. He just needed to scan it. I also had a manufacturer Almay coupon for $3 off printout of the beginning of the transaction. I was able to use that with the Walgreens book coupon. You need to buy at least four of the make up remover’s for it to work. I paid $1.73 for 4. I did this twice, all scannable with no issues.

  Heather, if you don’t have a manufacturer coupon, will they still take their walgreens coupon and do you still need to buy 4 makeup remover?

  Yes you can use the book coupon on any quantity. You just need 4 if you get and use the $3 off Catalina manufacture coupon as well.

  I agree. The makeup remover has a strong chemical scent. Looking at the ingredients, the product is probably fine for your skin, but I just can’t get past the scent.

   I tried to do the Almay deal too but the store manager said Walgreens coupon are only to be used for the monthly advertised items. Where can I get help from, anyone here knows?

  I’d post on their FB wall and see what kind of reply you get. Nowhere in the book does it say you HAVE to use during certain times during the month and the coupons don’t say “excludes clearance”. Sounds like the manager is just making stuff up! If the rep gives a good reply, print it out and show the manager. Or just try another store.

   For the Colgate deal, it should be Buy 3 @ $2.99 each = $8.97, not $11.97. Use three $0.75/1 coupons. Pay $6.72, get back 5,000 pts = $1.72. HTH 🙂

   umm I did the toothpaste deal and used one of the 75 off and 2/ $2 off… I paid less than $5 but I got back 5000 points and $3 bonus point??? Southeast Missouri
