How many transaction allowed for 8×10 enlargement?
I know free is great but even the free 8×10’s from Walgreens aren’t worth stopping by the store to pick up from my experience. I have even uploaded professional pictures and they still turn out dark and don’t look good.
That’s what I’m afraid of. Don’t want to waste my time getting the baby ready and in and out of the car if it looks bad
I never have liked the quality from walgreens! Even printing professional quality photos the colors are always off. I like the freebies but would never pay for Walgreen prints!

I agree the pictures are always dark. However I now lighten the pictures before printing them and they come out pretty good!
Try a different Walgreens. I pick one that is a little farther away from my house because they do a better job. I have had some absolutely beautiful photos printed by Walgreens. That said, if you don’t do some photo editing before uploading, that could be your problem. There are some very simple things you can do to fix them, such as color correction. Photoshop Elements is on sale at now Costco, btw for only $40. Take a class online or just watch a few youtube videos and you will improve you photos immensely.
I don’t think editing professional photos is the answer. However, trying a different Walgreens seems like a good suggestion. I’ve also had an issue with printing high quality photos with the Walgreens near me, and I don’t remember having an issue with them a few years prior–so I’m about to try doing the same.

Remember that wood panel deal posted weeks ago? It was a great deal but it took my Walgreens weeks to process because the wood panels were back ordered. When they called and said it was ready I went to the store and they couldn’t find it. Waited 25 minutes while they were searching and it was right on the counter. They ended up just giving it to me for free…LOL.

I love these Walgreens deals. I got three of the wood panels for Christmas gifts. I just wished I had ordered more. Hopefully the deal comes around again. My suggestion would be for everyone not liking the quality to try a different Walgreens. I am extremely picky when it comes to quality of photos and my Walgreens does a GREAT job. I just also printed a dozen magnets for people for Christmas. They turned out great as well! Now, I am trying to find which 8 x 10 I want for FREE!

Helpful tip for those of you that need to edit your photos (edit brightness/saturation/color temperature, custom editing, etc) and don’t have or don’t want to download any photo editing software – picmonkey.com is totally free and it’s a web browser based editor so you can get great looking pics easily and quickly without having to download a program! I use it for all my editing needs now and highly recommend it.

The manager told me that today is the last day they can be displayed and I asked what he’s going to do with the rest (they had a HUGE stack of them) and he said he was going to throw them away. *horrified* So I asked if I could have a bunch to pass out and he said “Yeah, sure! Here ya’ go!” and gave me tons of them. Hip2save has given me SOOOO much (Collin AND her readers) so now it’s my turn to share. 🙂
