I have to give props to Raise, we bought a 100.00 amc card last time you posted it. We went to use it, there was zero left on it. We emailed Raise. They tool care of the issue right away by refunding our money. Plus they gave me the 10.00 discount I used from your deal last time.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for your feedback Michellini! So glad they were able to fix the issue!

    • Bunny

We purchased a Panera gift card thru Raise and when we went to use it also found a zero balance. After waiting 30 minutes to speak to customer service, we got a refund.

But that’s my last time using Raise. Too much of a hassle and a definite risk if you are doing this as a gift. The last thing you want is for your recipient to find a zero balance on their gift card ๐Ÿ™

    • Kayla

Their customer service is pretty good. I bought an “In Store” card, which apparently means you can ONLY use it in store. The card was for a retailer that I can only order online from, rendering it useless to me. I called them and explained how the wording never explicitly excluded online use so they had me send back the card and refunded me the full value once someone else bought it. They were very polite about everything and kept me updated throughout the process. Just be sure to understand the wording!

Slightly off topic, but Meijer has a Repeatable offer on $50 worth of gift cards, and you get a $3 reward. Even better is when you clip the $10/$50 worth of Game Stop/Dominoes Pizza, you end up spending $40 and still get the $3 reward! I did it yesterday with Game Stop cards:)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sweet deal! Thanks for the heads up!

    • hicorinne

Hi! I was just wondering how you get the $3 reward. I don’t see that in coupons section. Thanks!

      • Happymama

You have to clip the coupon in the coupons tab, and make sure you clip the rewards in the rewards tab clipped too!

Thanks! Called my local bed bath and beyond and I can go and buy gift cards with my voucher for Christmas.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Last time I talked to a Disney gift card customer service person about it (which was admittedly a 2 or 3 years ago), only physical Disney gift cards were valid for use in the parks. Is there a trick to use eGift cards that I don’t know about? Can you add them to magic bands?

    • Jo

That’s a great question! If you have a physical disney gift card, you can transfer your electronic gift card to that by going to disneygiftcard.com. You can also use your electronic card for your trip balance. Finally, you can use your magic band in the parks and then take your electronic gift card number and pin to the front desk at your resort, and they will apply it to your tab! I hope that is helpful!

      • Robyn

Yes! That is super helpful! I had no idea I had that option! Thanks! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

        • Jo

I’m so glad! My email is jo@simplymagicalvacations.com, so if you have any other questions come up before your trip, I am always happy to help or find the answer for you!

  12. christine

How long are these promo codes good for? Especially the $5/$50+? Thanks!

  13. Sri

Can anyone tell the link to Raise facebook page please?

  14. Mom Of 2

I’m so excited about the restaurant vouchers I just bought for our vacation!! Question for those who’ve used them…
I can just show my phone to the cashier/server at these places and it will work, right? I’m hoping its that easy!! ๐Ÿ™‚
