I know that many of you had major issues taking advantage of the Best Buy $20 off any order Visa Checkout promo that I posted on Sunday. Well, I have what appears to be good news. Many of you may have received an email from Visa Checkout with the subject line “We’re sorry – an e-gift card for your trouble is coming!” Be sure to check your spam and trash if you didn’t get this email as it may be in there.

The email basically states that they will be providing you with a $20 gift card as soon as possible and that they’ll be in touch with more details.

    I got two emails this week. One for the missed NFL offer and the second for the Best Buy offer. I’m sure they are delayed with all the requests. Online email support stated I would get a response in 24 hours, but it took 2 weeks to receive these emails.

      Sweeps points take up to 24hrs to add to your account – Id check your account tomorrow and they should be there….

    I just now emailed Visa Checkout asking if they are basing their response via email to actual customers who contacted them or to people that had hundreds of failed attempts through logins? I am sure they can see that thousands of people could not access the deal. I hope to receive a response!

      When I spoke with customer service Sunday night they said they would like to honor the promotion for those still “attempting” to get the promotion that day. Im assuming he meant those who called & they took down the email to send to their promotions dept. or those who emailed them.

    If you completed the Visa checkout promotion and are waiting for a code give it 2days before you start emailing to inquire.

    Adding emails and phone calls will just loop you with different people with different answers for you.

    Have some patience and it will come.

    I have a question regarding visa checkout…..does anyone know how/where to enter any coupon/promotion codes when you are using visa checkout… I could not figure that out….for example….I shop at old navy and there are few promotion codes going on now….how can I enter that when using visa checkout

    Yup, I also got this email. I assumed it was a response to the email I sent to their support team on Sunday about the web site not working. I had given up but then tried later in the evening and finally got through.

    I went to a Best Buy store yesterday and was able to use my $5 birthday coupon, the $5 mystery gift coupon, a $10 coupon they sent in an email about a new store opening, the $20 visa checkout coupon and the free Bluetooth speaker coupon, all in one go. I got the speaker (retail $40) and a $60 Netflix card for $20! It’s like I hit the email promo lottery!

        Yah, I wasn’t too sure if they would because the fine print said online only, but it had a barcode so I figured that must mean you could use in store too. Worked no problem!

      Don’t look at slickdeals.. There were people there who got 10 or 20 codes complaining that some of their certificates were zeroed out. Disgusting.

      No, I called and told them I was having trouble participating in the promotion that they advertised on national television in the middle of a football game. They apologized and gave me a case number. I don’t feel ENTITLED to anything and I appreciate their customer service.
