My 10 year old daughter has this and she is not even a Star Wars fan. I paid $59.99 for it.
I show this to my 2 year old everytime we go to Target. He always smacks it away .. lol .. Never knew it was so much!

I looked it up online before getting on here and it says $59.99 before discounts?
If you read the dimensions on the one priced at 59.99, it shows at 14.700H x 5.700W x 11.700L. I think the 24″ showing on the title is a mistake. The store #’s for both and different and the online item number.
The picture of the Chewbacca in the box at the top of this post is not the correct toy, although they do look similar. The correct toy is 2 feet tall and is the one pictured with the guy holding it. You can find it online at

Not to be nit picking, but the real Chewbacca doesn’t talk….. and his head certainly isn’t that big in relation to his body. Just saying….

The target in store price at my location is $99.99. Ouch. It’s super cute but doesn’t do much . Target cashier gave me a tough time using mobile app, I had to call in the manager. Final price $37.49. Please note the “management team” said they are having a hard time with mobile. She thinks this toy was excluded. No where in the mouse print did it say it.
Yes, $37.49 after the 25% off coupon and Cartwheel at my store too (original price of $99.99). The mobile coupon did not scan and the manager told the cashier to manually enter it. It states the only exclusion is Lego toys so it should work with this.
There are 3 different Chewys that are 24″ and talk. The 59.99 one moves its mouth and face,but the 89.99 one doesn’t so I can’t figure out why it’s so much more.
I got him. He’s huge and just makes chewy noises 😀. Check out Halloween clearance at 90% wasn’t marked but it was ringing up that way!

Yah my 25% coupon on my phone was not scanning and cashier had to call a supervisor. They end up entering the code. Final price comes up to $37 and some change. Good luck!

Target Halloween clearance is at 90% and food 70%!!!
My target was also 90% off Halloween and leftover one spot clearance. And 70% off candy and food. Got a lot of starwars costumes for opening night and 10cent lock boxes. One woman had the idea of spray painting them and using them for an advent calendar set. 🙂 happy hunting everyone!

We got furbacca. He was the only one and you can tell he has been well loved in store. Like others, he was ringing up 99.99,blah! The cartwheel did not want to work on him, but they just did it. He was like $37. And yes Halloween candy was 70 with no signs and other 90%. Scored a nice Darth Vader costume for hubby for $5,ha

Just a heads up. My Target would not let me use the 25% off and the cartwheel on this toy. The register wouldn’t even let the manager override it. So I just used the cartwheel.

The cartwheel app has a scan barcode feature ( click on magnify glass). Scan and it’ll tell you if the item has a barcode.
I just got this at my store in NC. The mobile app wouldn’t go through but I went to customer service and they took care of it. That is why I love Target!

I just go this toy at the Oxford Valley (PA) store. There were only three available when I got there I took one and the lady behind me took one. I used the cartwheel and the 25% off coupon. It was the paper coupon from the toy book. No problems at all. The register didn’t beep or anything. Walked out paying $37 great gift

My target didn’t let me price match and cartwheel the nice guy at the register was going to do it for me but the dumb security guy came in and couldn’t mind his own business started telling him he couldnt do that and went and asked the manager she said what ever the system takes then another manager got involved saying I could only do one price match or cartwheel but the 25% would not go through and supposably they could not over write it so I went ahead and still got it with adding the 10% off wishlist so I paid $41
Target’s policy does not allow price matching and using a Cartwheel.

They don’t sell this online and only available in store. I went to target this morning and they had one on the floor but they had three more in the back so they brought it all out. 25% off is not scanning so manager had to over ride it.. But u can combine cartwheel and 25% coupon and comes up to $37. Hope this help!

I just purchased this and they would not let me combine the 25% off toy coupon with the 50% off cart wheel discount. I still got it for $46.14 which is a good deal.
My 25% and 10% didn’t scan so the girl at customer service ended up manually calculating them and entering them…somehow I only ended up paying $17.00. Woohoo!

Just got mine ! The In store cost is 99.99 and they will not price match online price I tried. It’s either cart wheel or online price match not both. So cart wheel dropped it to 49.99 they said the 25% off coupons aren’t working so they took 12.50 off which is 25% off making it 37.49 and then 5% off with red card making it 35.62 out the door for a 99.99 toy. Not bad ! Even though all he does is talk compare it with what you would pay for a build a bear and it’s a great deal ! Plus … He’s kinda cute riding home on my front seat 🙂

Not that I wanted this anyways, but I was at target early this morning to take advantage of the 25% off denizen jean offers. I was walking by electronics and saw several of these stashed in the electronics department behind the counter. It looked as if the employees hid them there to purchase later (again, this was right when they opened). I have heard several moms in our family last year complain that they show up at target right when the stores open to take advantage of the cartwheel offers, just to find that there is no stock on the shelf. Has anybody else experienced this? You’re not able to call and put cartwheel toys on hold first thing in the morning, are you? I am interested to hear other hip2savers opinions.
Sometimes the or them back there and you just ask for it. That is what I have found on the hot items. Annoying , yes, but always ask. And don’t be afraid to question!

Unfortunately the toy coupon for 25% off wasn’t accepted even after speaking with management saying the 50% cartwheel couldn’t be combined. Really disappointed but purchased for 50% while they still had them.
I had trouble with the 25% mobile coupon as well. My local Target is really cracking down on couponers (they won’t take returns on anything that is on a receipt with coupons, even if that item was not purchased with a coupon and there are no overages). The second Target I went to only had a bunch that had been given too much “love” by kids (and hey, probably some adults). The third Target had one in decent shape and honored the coupon. They were going to honor the online price, but couldn’t do that and the Cartwheel, so I went with the Cartwheel + 25% coupon, except we forgot to adjust the coupon when the cashier and I decided to not Price Match. I paid $34.99, but they are willing to redo it for $24.99, honoring both coupons off the retail amount. Yes!
