Do you have to buy multiples of 3?

    • Laura

      Ad states must buy 3.

    • Stephanie Sitz

That’s what it says on that little ad exert.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks – I updated the scenario!

  2. R

    Two links?

    • Stephanie Sitz

There are two coupons of the same type when you enter the zip, giving you 4 prints! I think that is what she means.

      • R

Ah, two listings of the same item. Got it. Thanks so much!

  3. Stephanie Sitz

These are the only brand of peas my hubby will eat, can’t wait to get 24 cans at $.8 each! Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Sweet! You’re welcome Stephanie!

  4. Sarah

How many coupons can you use per transaction?

    • Ruthi

Walmart—–no limit on number of coupons, Target—–limit of 4 like coupons per transaction hth

  5. michelle

How do you price match if you don’t have the ad?

  6. Jen

You could go to the ad on your phone and show it to the cashier.

  7. lori

Is this the brand of green beans that the pieces are so small? I bought them once and thought that I got a bad can. It looked like I got the “END OF THE BATCH”, all the end pieces?

    • Lana

No, they are not the ends. I buy them all the time when there is a great deal.

  8. Stacey

I changed my location but they still aren’t popping up..bummer

    • Stephanie Sitz

      Try 01035

      • Stacey

Thanks but it still didn’t work. 😞

        • Laura

Neither zip code is working for me either

        • Rosa

Its not in coupons.com its at kids360charity/save.php maybe that’s the problem.

    • CJ

Yeah I’m not seeing it either. I only have 7 coupons pop up under both zip codes.

  9. Marie

Ok, those familiar with DG. If we buy 4 cans will the 4th can ring up at normal price or be included with the sale price? TIA

    • Stephanie Sitz

I am pretty sure you have to by in groups of three to get the sale price.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sorry for the confusion – I’m not quite sure either, but I updated the scenario. Still an awesome price! 🙂

  10. Jen

Fyi …..My local walmart (lincoln, nebraska) will no longer ad match Dollar General, but savings catcher does. Even the cashier agreed it was stupid.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the heads up Jen!

  11. L

Family Dollar will also ad match if you have the actual ad to show them.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Oh cool!

  12. Kenja

I may be slow, but how does this work? I’ve printed off 2 coupons…$1 off of 4 cans. If you’ve got to get 3 cans to get the deal…that’s 6 cans. Can someone please explain 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You would buy the 9 cans, then use two coupons and pay only $1 🙂 Hope that helps!

  13. Kenja

how does this work? i’ve downloaded 2 coupons where I’ve got to buy 8 cans (4 cans each coupon) but the deal says you must buy 3/$1 (which means it’ll be 6 cans…can someone please help me understand? thanks 🙂

    • Mel

I believe what is posted isnt correct….it wont be 8 cents a can but .18-.20 cents because you get 3 for 1 dollar, then the 4th can is regular price .70-.80 cents so say 1.70 for 4 cans, minus 1 dollar coupon=. 70 for 4 cans, or 18 cents a piece. Still a great deal!

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        Thanks Mel. Just updated!

  14. Tara

Iit says you must buy 3 to get the discount, so what does that 4th can cost that isnt discounted?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Looks like Regular Price is $0.70-.80 But if you grab them in increments of three you wont have to worry about paying regular price for either can.

  15. ashlynn.

Last year I tried to do this for the food bank donation. “/ it was a pain. I would recommend doing 4 cans one coupon transaction it’s like you buy 1 (full price $.80) then get 3 free.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for your feedback Ashlynn!

  16. Melissa

So, question for everyone. It states that it is a 3-day sale, in order to price match, do I need to wait for that day? I went to my local DG today and they wouldn’t let me pre-order any and cited first come, first served. Next truck comes on Saturday, but will not be out until Sunday (sale ends Saturday). What can I do?

  17. Lyndie

Can you buy 12 as you’ll be buying 4 groups of 3 and get the sale price on all of them?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes you could if you have access to that many coupons! 🙂

      • jacobnlacey

you can print out 4 per computer as there are two links 🙂

        • Rosa

I was actually able to print 8 on one computer 2 different browsers 4 per browser, chrome and internet explorer.

          • Ashley

            Me, too!

      • ashlynn.

I tried that last year… the system was charging me instead of deducting the coupon. Hopefully the problem is fixed this year but I had to buy in sets of 4′ buying on at $.80 getting 3 free. FYI

        • Shawna

Omg me to plus they tried charging tax. I was so mad I cancelled order. This year I’ll just price match somewhere else

  18. kim

I’m thinking buy 12 cans for $4.00 minus 3 $1.00 off 4 cans would be 12 cans for $1.00. Yes or no?

  19. jacobnlacey

you could buy 12 cans (4 sets of 3/$1) for $4 and use 3 coupons for a net cost of $1 which is a little over .08 per can.

  20. Stephanie Sitz

Even if you don’t like them, they are a great price for food drives. It is that time of year to give!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great idea!

  21. jhnicole

Oh my gosh i just want to fall out.Im donating for families at my church. Thanks Collin.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  22. Shauna R

Can’t seem to get it to print…

  23. amy

cant get the coupon to pull up

    • Patty

      Me neither! Not there….

  24. Scott B

The Libby’s coupon is not showing up for me anymore. I was attempting to print from another PC on a different network and no joy.

  25. Jennifer

This isn’t working for me. And I’m not understanding how to get to a second link?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn. Looks like this one is gone.

  26. jennifer

no coupon. Probably because people print way over what they are supposed to

  27. Anne

    gone…..

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Bummer 🙁

  28. Natalia

Girls try this 12203 zip code.Just print mine.

    • WNY Deals & To-Dos

Yes Natalia, I just got another 2 prints from that zip code!! Thank you very much!

    • griselda

thank you!! i was able to print four at least from that zip code. i’m excited. 12 cans of veggies should be enough for my family.

  29. Anita Adkison

No more. Tried several zip codes.

  30. Kaleena

    Thanks Natalia! Totally worked!

  31. Passitfwd

Thanks Natalie! I was able to print 2 more coupons, too! Just in time for different food banks and schools donations!!!

  32. Natasha C

I agree with the above last year it as such a pain to use the coupon. Hope they worked out the kinks

  33. Candace

I was able to print another coupon but it had to be from a different computer than I used the other day.

  34. Passitfwd

Redeemed 3 coupons today to get 12 cans for donation. Cash register still horrible. Took awhile for 1 of 2 cashiers to agree that I only needed to pay $1 after 3 coupons! A pain for redeeming coupons but all for a great cause..

  35. R

If you want to save yourself some time, and money, don’t bother at Dollar General. And I believe someone posted to redeem at Family Dollar. They (at least mine) didn’t carry Libby’s brand. Knowing I saw someone said Target price-matched, but took any coupons off the top, I went to Wal-Mart. No problems, there. Used all my coupons in one transaction.

  36. Scott B

Just picked up 48 cans for $3.84 at Walmart. When the price match they only charge .33 cents/can so it makes it 3/.99 cents. I actually tried going to Dollar General and they tried ringing up a transaction of 24 cans multiple times and it never came out right. Closest they got was prior to coupons 24 cans were $8 but after applying the 6 coupons it only came down to $2.87….
