This is a great deal. I almost bought one roll from target for $1.99! I use it when decorating with buttercream. Thanks so much for the post Collin!
Does anyone know if this is a rolling RR deal? Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You are so welcome Mona!

  2. Kris

The 9/13 SS has a $2/2 Digiorno Pizza coupon expires 11/15/15.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh cool! Thanks for sharing Kris!

  3. Jenna

Can you get RR back if you use your balance rewards points to pay for it?

    • A.

      Nope

      • Raquel

Yes, you do. ONLY if you are paying with points, you are not getting points back.

    • Liz Ob

Yes. If you use your balance points to pay you will get register reward and vice versa.

  4. Katie

My Walgreen in STL did not print a RR. And I didn’t have access to a printer. But$0.78 per roll is still a decent price. I scored the last two at myWags

    • ashlynn

You can call… they will give you a contact number. When they verify your purchase they mail you the rr. The last time mine didn’t print a $3 and $2 they sent me a $10 rr to use at walgreens. NOT SAY they will do that for you but hey worth a shot.

      • Katie

        Thanks!

  5. Kim

Did this deal today!! Awesome deal!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yay! So glad you could grab it Kim!

  6. Sherol

Can you use a rr to purchase this and also get back rr?

    • Kevin

If the register reward is from a different company, then yes.

hi im new to the whole ibotta app I just downloaded it for the viva paper towels now my question is do I now summit my receipt ? help I feel stupid

    • Mely

      Yes Just submit the receipt

  8. Just Me

Yes Gen, select your store in Ibotta and your product, scan the upc, if you have more than one product , select another product you have unlocked in ibotta, scan that upc, when completed with that, take a picture of your receipt from top to nottom, make sure it is clear
******ps there is another Ibotta that is for .20 cents under papertowels**** $$$$

  9. Paola

Hi Collin did this deal yesterday and Ibotta has a double dip with a .20 reward for paper towels so I made $1.45 fr. Ibotta and also I got the 3.00 RR plus a 5.00 off of 25.00 purchase for my next purchase. Also Walgreens card members have a coupon that they can clip to their balance reward card. 2.00 back in points off a 10.00 purchase. So what if you buy 3 instead of 2? Comes out like this: total:14.97 less 3X.50 manufacturer q, less 3.00 for Walgreens store coupon pay 10.47 get back 4 dollars RR for the purchase of 3, plus get back 2 dollars in points for purchase of over 10 that makes total 5.47 less 1.45 for Ibotta submission total spent is 4.02 so 1.34 per pack!

    • erin

      Awesome!

    Coupon is not available anymore.

Did wags recently change their coupon policy to finally allow more coupons than the number of items in a transaction? If I remember correctly you used to have to get a 3rd filler item if you wanted to use 3 coupons (2 mfqs and 1 wags q) on 2 items like in this scenario, right?

    • Heather

You can have up to 1 MQ and 1 Wags Q per item so you don’t need a filler for this

  12. tara welch (@taraawelch)

    Does the RR roll?

  13. Delia

So I tried using 2 of the manufacturer coupons this AM & their registered beeped. The cashier checked the wording & said only 1 could be used since the wording was one purchase. She tried being a smart ass but as I questioned her, her attitude changed because she wasn’t able to answer any of my questions which made her look dumb hence the point of asking her questions. So a manager stepped in & the manager began to complain about couponers & how they defraud the system & now the govt is getting involved. She stopped with her nonsense when I laughed & told her “that’s a first, the govt getting involved in coupons” but also confirmed by asking her that couponers like myself aren’t defrauding the system since we are complying with your policy, right? She begrudgingly agreed. In the end I said’ “Let’s go according your policy so you aren’t feeling bitter that I’m getting a good deal.” They quit with their attitude since I pushed back but these ppl are truly something else complaining about couponers & their deals.

    • erin

Wow! The nerve. There is a survey # at the bottom of your receipt. I would complain if an employee outright accused me of fraud. If I owned a Walgreens, I would want to know how the employees treat the customers.

      • Kristy L

I had to complain to Corporate just this week about how one of the Managers treated me. It was regarding the Oral-B and Crest deal. He told me that I couldn’t mix and match then when I pointed it out he read me the sales ad regarding the sale. Just talked down to me. The problem with Walgreens is that us the consumers know their policies better then they do. They do not educate their managers or cashiers on proper coupon wordage. Very annoying. I am so sorry you had that issue but it does seem to be company wide.

      • Delia

Thank You!! I did complete that survey @ the bottom of their receipt, gave all 1’s for their lousy service & requested someone call me back regarding my experience. The cashier set the tone for my visit when I walked in with my own shopping bags & started yelling, “Ma’am” over & over. It wasn’t until the fifth “Ma’am” that I realized she was talking to me & she actually questioned why I had my own bags. She clearly put it out there that she was suspicious that I might be stealing. So her initial interaction with me was already a negative one & it just continued from there. On a side note, I always use Reuseable bags when I shop but this behavior questioning me about it was a first & it made her look unprofessional. I’ll be back to that store & they will definitely remember me.

  14. Marie Speros Grimsley

Viva says that the coupon is no longer available. Oh well.

    • A.

It’s still there, I just printed some.

  15. erin

I got this deal today in western NY. Combined it with the mouthwash deal and a points coupon I received in the mail a week or two ago (4000 pts for spending $20) cuz my app/account wont work foe some reason. Grand total was like $.55 plus tax (just over $2) for everything.

Does anyone know where the $3 register rewards is printed in ad? I had to get a raincheck for the viva papertowels and in order to collect the RR I need to show proof they were available.

    • Valerie

The Viva catalina is not in the ad. It is a national catalina. It runs through the 29th of November. So get those rain checks. There is also a $1/1 Viva coupon supposed to be in the 11/15 SS, so even better deal with rain check. The store coupon is also good for a while:)

  18. Kimberly S

I can’t find the $1.25 ibotta rebate. I’m rather new to ibotta–but I’ve looked through all rebates, even typed in VIVA in the search and can’t find this. Am I doing something wrong?
