I highly recommend it, last holidays i got my son a leap pad he got super fusterated with it, it was slow and limited. I returned it and picked this up Ilove it. You can switch between the kids and my profile . There is a learning curve but hes not fusterated. Also hr not as attached as he was to my tablet which is a good thing he still needs to be a kid.

Yes you can. But 8gb is not a lot of memory so won’t store a lot of movies. This works just like an iPad can download games, movies, books.
