Can I purchase on the app and then immediately use in store by having them scam my phone?

    • Annie

I believe it depends on a store. For example you can definetely do it in Target (they can scan it of your phone) but some stores probably have different policy

    • Annie

Hope someone will use my link https://geta.raise.com/agelashvi to create new account and get$5 credit!
It definetely works! I had really good experience using this website!

  2. Phyllis

I was in the process of ordering a $15.00 itunes gift card with my promo codes & bringing my total down to zero, when they changed the charge for the itunes GC to $14.23 (instead of $15.00) so that my purchase would not be valid! This does not give me confidence in this company ๐Ÿ™

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sorry to hear the Phyllis ๐Ÿ™

  3. Jennifer

What if you don’t have a cellphone? Can it be done through email?

  4. Another Michelle

I got a $20 gift card for Starbucks for $3.46. This seems almost too good to be true…

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great score!

  5. Lolie

Off the subject but I have $50 in old navy cash starting 12-1, if someone wants to trade for $20 Best Buy visa game day code. Email me at lmhenicle@yahoo.com

    • cathy

I used your link. But I don’t have a $5 credit. How long did it take until you got yours?

  6. Bunny

Just a word of warning. I purchased a $25 Panera card a couple months ago. Tried to use it right after we bought it and the cashier said there was a $0 balance on it. After waiting 30 minutes on the phone for someone at Raise to answer my concerns, I did find out it had a $0 balance. Fortunately, they promptly gave me a refund on my credit card.

So word to the wise, DO NOT GIVE THESE AS GIFTS or you may end up with egg on your face ๐Ÿ™

We also bought a second Panera card. We had only used half of it before finding out it also had a zero balance. Do not trust this company at all!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh darn. Thanks for your feedback.

    • Mandy

I had the exact same experience with them when buying a VS Gift Card and I used PayPal to checkout and it took forever to get my refund and now I refuse to use this site and only use CardCash.com!

  7. molly

I have made two calls, wait time of over 35 minutes, and my credit card is still over charged. I asked to cancel and a according to their policy they can’t. So now I have to wait indefinitely to resell the card I was over charged for and hope to get a refund. Beware of this deal! Seems like a shady company!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Bummer.

  8. Kristie

Collin, how long is the HIP10 code valid for?

  9. Sue

Thanks so much Collin! I bought a NFL gift card, $30 for $50, and went through Shopyourway partners rewards and got 5% back on purchase plus $10.00 in points for shopping with partners. Cannot beat that!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Great deal Sue! You are very welcome!

Collin-I used this the other day when you posted it. I got a 20.00 Staples gift card for just over 3.00 and paired that with a 5.00 off 25.00 coupon for more savings. Yay for getting some teacher gifts for Christmas! (Starbucks and Burt’s Bees gift sets). Thank you! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Bunny

Midwifemama…please read my comment above. I would be careful about giving this as a gift. Your recipient made find themselves with a $0 balance. And they may be too embarrassed to let you know ๐Ÿ™

      • Midwifemama

Bunny-thank you for the warning-that’s something I actually always worry about when I buy a gift card ๐Ÿ™‚ but, I used the gift card I bought to buy the actual gifts. So, the gift card I bought from them actually worked. I’m so sorry you had a bad experience ๐Ÿ™

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  12. Whitney

Thanks for the honesty everyone. I’m not going to risk spending money on a card that has a $0 balance. Thanks anyway!

  13. Victoria

Anyone else having trouble with them messaging their phone? I tried everything to get it to work and I can’t… was about to get a sweet deal of paying $3 for $25 gift card…

    Steps I’ve tried to remedy:
    Restart phone
Test if I can send messages
    Check internet
Double check phone number even Triple check!
    Messaged them about the error

    • Shari

I didn’t rec’v a text either.. is that what you mean?

      • mikkaka

Exactly! – It won’t let me take off the extra $5 for signing up until I validate this text that I can’t receive. :/

    • Jenn

I had the same problem too but I got the $5 off – here’s what I did: go to My account in the top left corner, and click Overview. Then click My Rewards on the left followed by Referrals up top. It should give you an option of verifying your phone number to get the $5 off. Hope this helps ๐Ÿ™‚

If your referral credit isn’t showing up, try using referral code vlarue in the referral section of the app to get it. That’s a free $5 right there toward a gift card of your choice! Or, you can try using my referral link below to snag the $5. I’ve bought from raise several times and have never had an issue with a gift card I’ve purchased from them. Thanks so much!! ๐Ÿ™‚ For new users: https://geta.raise.com/vlarue

Here is my referral if anyone would like to use! ๐Ÿ™‚ Join me at Raise, where your money is worth more. Hereโ€™s $5 to get started! Use code HIP10 to get another $10 off https://geta.raise.com/kcostigli

  22. Daniela

Thanks Collin, using your codes I got a $50 Burlington Coat Factory GC for $24!! Mom’s Xmas present is complete. For those who are wary about gifting these cards, just check the balance before gifting it. That is what I do when I purchase gift cards on ebay. And always use a CC not debit, to purchase. Easier to dispute. Amex is best.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for sharing your tip Daniele! ๐Ÿ™‚

  23. Em

I bought a $80 Petco gift card for $50 using a link above. I would appreciate if someone use my link

  24. Julie

Thanks Collin! I was able to get both my girls an iTunes gift card for what one would have cost me with your hip10 code!

    • Amy

I used Sonia’s code since it was the last one posted. Can someone please use mine? Very easy to sign up and I can’t believe the variety of cards available!! Yes there are a bunch of higher value ones, but those tend to be the ones with the highest savings.

We both get a free $5 when you sign up! https://geta.raise.com/ajennings2

  25. Annie

Tip for those who already made first purchase with HIP10 code and want to buy more gift cards from raise. For your second purchase you can use code RAISE1, it’ll save you 1% ๐Ÿ˜‰ not much, but still something ๐Ÿ˜‰ I found this code browsing raise website

  26. Kan

I was able to get a $50 Bed Bath & Beyond gc for $32, which really helped since we were planning to get a wedding gift for some friends who registered there. Thank you! Sorry to hear, though, about others who have had problems with their purchases.

  27. anna

Purchased a $50 gc to claim jumper today. Tried to use it today and was told it had a zero balance. Manager called claim jumper gift card for help and they told him that GC has no balance. I have already emailed Raise for refund but wanted to give others a heads up here.

  28. Bella

I would appreciate it if someone used my code for 5$ off!

  29. cathy

I signed up but I do not see a $5 credit. How long does it take to see it?

  30. Arica

I didn’t have any problems getting the credits or the GC. I got a $50 Old Navy GC for $30, and I have already used it…so it works! Phew! I was a little nervous after reading some of the other comments!

  31. Erin

I’m trying to decide what card I want and I don’t seem to be getting credits from my referrals!? Hmmm here is my link if anyone should like to help out
