I checked my email and had a $25 off $25 or more purchase from Sears. It’s only good until tomorrow.

I just checked my email and received $5 to spend on my clothing, fine jewelry, bedding, bath, or small kitchen appliance purchase of $5 or more, valid through tomorrow 11/25.

I used my $20 in points on Friday night after you posted and I checked again today and there is yet ANOTHER $20 in surprise points. I know this is NEW because I just bought something else there yesterday and they weren’t there.

In the past 3 days I received mails from ShopYourWay giving me different surprise points and coupons. The email came today subjected as “Because you’re appreciated, shop early Black Friday Exclusive deals” that gave $20 back in points when you spend $30. In another email sent yesterday “$20 in surprise points (+ a FREE Personal Shopper to help you spend ’em!), it gave $20 surprise point to spend on any purchase…wohoooo! In another email sent 2 days ago “Attention please! Because you’re a Shop Your Way Max member, here’s $10 off” that gave $10 off $30+ purchase and also $10 off on electronics purchase of $50+.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I received even more free SYW reward points today! $10 in points toward clothing at Sears and $15 toward bedding at Sears! I have received a total of $50 in free points in the last 3 days!!! I received no notification for any of them, just checked the app daily and they were there. Makes for some great deals paired with Pre-Black Friday sales.

    Hipsters, what is the trick for buying something that actually qualifies?? I keep trying to add things to my cart according to the surprise points category it gives me my free points in, but it won’t apply my surprise pointsโ€ฆ

      Are you hitting the minimum? If they give you $10 in surprise points, you must hit at least $10 for your purchase; you typically can’t apply them to a purchase of $9.99, for instance.

      Also, you aren’t able to apply them until the checkout screen, and you must be logged in to do so.

      Finally, pay attention to exclusions in the fine print. Some surprise points include clearance, for example, while others exclude them.

      Make sure you are not using any additional promo codes, Also points will not always deduct until you go to the final page before you accept payment/ enter your security code.. Note dont enter your security code unless those points have deducted.

      make sure you keep clicking it almost always says on that first page you have 0 points for me but keep clicking and you will get to a page that has a box and next to it it will have a button for apply points

        Try doing it mobile. For the $13 off $13 kids, I found an adorable dress for my daughter (Route 66). It wouldn’t take the $13 off on my computer. On my phone, it did.

      Make sure if it the points are for Kmart, you go to the seller type when you refine your choices and click on sold by Kmart. There are things sold by sears too even on Kmart website. That was always my problem when my points wouldn’t work.

      In filters make sure you click items sold by : and which store your points are for. I.E.- Sears or Kmart

    Has anyone been winning any points from the instant sweeps??? I would won an average of $1.50 a day and then they were some loading issues on the site and now I haven’t won anything for days:(

      I third that. I had been getting between $2.50 to $3.00 per day on sweeps spins.
      Then it just stopped cold. Not one win from a spin, shuffle, or scratcher.
      I got a lot of great stuff with the points. Glad it was good for as long as it was.
      Not sure what’s going on with the sweeps now.

      I have not won anything in the last week or so, either. However, I did win a Kindle Fire 8, on November 6th and got a phone call yesterday verifying my info and it’s supposed to be here before Thanksgiving! Yay!!!

      Exact same experience for me…I have only won $1.00 this whole week. It used to be $2 to $3 a day and even more than that for awhile. Once they “fixed” the website, it seems like they reduced the number of wins too. It was fun while it lasted!!

      Too many people were cheating the system, and have been. Having tons of emails and accounts. Greed, as usual, ruins it for everyone else.

        It is not necessarily greed. Fitstudio cut their points from 5,000 to 2,000. I think Sears is losing too much money through both programs. Thankfully, I stocked up on shirts, shoes, winter boots, underwear and socks for my son before they cut the points.

    I had $10 on home and $13 on apparel earlier this week (no minimum purchase, other than must be over surprise points amount.)

    Then last night, I got $15 more dollars off any purchase.

    So all together this week I got a fleece throw, a bath towel, a pair of OshKosh jeans, a Carter’s set (dress shirt/pants), and a three-pack of mittens for $1.46 total!

    I just found out something very disappointing about points: you cannot get points when you pay with points. For example, yesterday I paid for an item completely in points and was supposed to get about $50 in points for that purchase. After I checked my account today, I saw that no points had been added and called customer service. They explained that I wouldn’t be getting any of my $50 points due to the fact that I had paid with points. Also today I attempted another purchase with strictly surprise points (without using any additional points from my account) and I saw where I would have gotten back $50, but after applying my surprise points, I was only getting back $40 in points. So, it’s like not having the benefit of the surprise points because you lose points that should be awarded to you, therefore evening out. That wasn’t much of a surprise after all lol.

      I learned that hard way too. I bought Levi’s shorts….coupon said receive $25 in points when you buy these. I chat with someone and asked if I pay everything with points do I still get points back ? Answer was Yes…….He was 100% sure. When points never got posted I called them. Got the same reply.oh you paid with points so u don’t get any point……lady was so rude. She said when you signed there was a clause….this & that. Call Sears because it’s there issue. Called Sears & they said they cannot do anything. Very bad customer service. No complaints…..I should have read the terms.

        On the Levi shorts coupon, did you call shop your way? I did that deal too but didn’t receive the $25 in points either. Those coupons always work but when I contacted syw, they told me that specific coupon wasn’t working so they just adjusted it and gave me the points.

          Yes I did. Can you please tell me you paid with the points or with card? I tried it twice once with points & once with card. Ended up with worst customer representatives. They said if u only pay full amount only then you can get points. Coupon does not specifies that. Don’t know what to do.)-:

            I paid using my card, not points. You should contact them again. I was told that coupon was giving everyone issues because the shorts were priced less than the points, but then why did they offer it if that was the case? They should be able to pull up all the coupons you have had in the past and you should have been given the points. Good luck!

    kmart site is horrible, last weeke i got $13 for kmart and $11 for sear was able to purchase stuff on sears and then try the kmart to use the $13 and the first day was working and was showing the points but i had to do other stuff and said i will do it tomorrow. been trying and cant even get the points to show. ugh so annoying they just want my point to be expire and not able to use.
    on the other hand i also got $5 today

    I never get any surprise points. But I ordered several the throws that were $1.99 each at Kmart the other day and I’m STILL waiting on an email to say they are ready for pick up. Is that normal?

      No. You should call. It’s supposed to be same day.

            This depends on the store. It took two days to get a cancel and pick up email at my local Kmart. The store is severely understaffed.

          Well, I used the online chat AND I called the 800 number and that was the worst experience of my LIFE. I will never buy from Kmart again. It’s not worth this headache. I was lied to repeatedly and hung up on. I still have no ready for pick up email so I still don’t know what I can do. They kept saying it was ready and just take my email with me and the CC I used to pay. I told them repeatedly that’s the problem. I don’t HAVE a ready for pick up email and I used PayPal to pay so I can’t take PayPal with me to the store. UGH!!! This has totally not been worth it at all!!!

            Did the throws that you ordered happen to have a later ship date? I ordered some wash cloths at the end of Oct that won’t be at the store until Dec, so I haven’t received a pickup email for them. Just a thought. I know they are so aggravating to talk to! I spent over an hour tonight!

              I didn’t notice them having a later ship date but they could have. What was so aggravating talking to them was the first guy told me I could only pick up 4 of the 10 items I ordered because the rest had been canceled. So I asked him why I was charged for all 10 then & he said “it’s PayPal’s fault take it up with them.” PayPal has no idea what or how much I’ve ordered! They only know how much has been requested for payment. But each person I talked to said my order was ready for pickup but couldn’t tell me why it wasn’t showing ready on my account or why I never got a ready for pickup email so I still had the issue of not being able to pick them up because you have to take the ready for pickup email with you. It’s been a big circle of no answers & aggravation.

            If you ordered those $5.99 soft throws they had a shipping date of December almost, if not then log into your Kmart.com account And look under order history and if your order says ready for pickup then just take the sales number or order number with you they will give it to you maybe the email was in your junk. If it says processing then your order is not ready yet. You can also call ur Kmart store and give ur last name and they can tell you if your order is ready but they won’t know the what item it was. They can tell how many are ready

              It was the $1.99 throws and when I log in to my online account it does NOT show ready for pickup. But, every customer service rep I’ve talked to says they are actually ready for pick up and to take my email with me. Problem being I don’t HAVE an email. It’s not in my junk folder or anything, I just never got one. After 2 days on the online chat and several phone calls to the 800 number, I was told today that I will NEVER get a ready for pick up email because they canceled one of the items in my order so that prevents them from sending a ready for pick up email. So, how I would EVER have known I could pick them up I have no idea. But, the problem is more because without the ready for pickup email I don’t have a barcode to be scanned and since I used PayPal I have no credit card to swipe. So it’s like everything is just stuck in nowheresville. There’s basically nothing I can do other than take my original email showing i placed the order to the store and HOPE they will figure out a way to give me my order. I’m currently on hold now with the 800 number for over an hour. And, when the girl first answered the phone I asked how I could file a complaint and her response was, “I can take down your complaint but it won’t go anywhere, there’s nowhere for it to go.” So I said, “So basically you will take down my complaint and then just toss it in the trash?” YEP!! Basically that’s what happens. I said, “Then how does anyone ever get problems solved?” She said I could write a letter to the corporate office. So, I said, “well I have the name and address of the corporate office and the CEO already.” And she didn’t even know who the CEO was. I will NEVER order from Kmart again. This has been a total waste of time. I’m so frustrated I want to scream.

    I got the $25 off $25 clothing purchase that stacked with the $13 in points I already had, but the $25 couldn’t be used with any other coupons like the one I had that would let me get $10 in points back on a $50 purchase.

    Well, I’m happy enough with what I got, 2 pairs of pajama bottoms and one pair of sweatpants for $0 shipped. And I went through MyPoints and should get back 5 points per dollar (even ones I used points on.). Happy holidays ๐Ÿ˜€

      Hi, Karen. They should work as long as they cost no less than your surprise points amount. It will tell you when you get to checkout how many points will apply up your order.

    Just passing along what I learned today: “clothing” doesn’t include socks, underwear or pajamas, according to the SYWR rep I spoke to when my points wouldn’t apply.

    Omg I got on my account two 10 off 10 and a 15 off 15. My husband had a 10 off 10 and a 10 off 10 shoes. Then I got a coupon for 10 off 10 online! I got a jacket, 4 baby outfits, shoes and pjs for a total outlay of $9!!!!!! Add in the free bath and body works full sized items, and I had a great day!

    make sure that the member ID listed on the email matches once you signed in because I had a completely different member ID when I logged in Sears account. But was able to correct to match the one as the email promotion. I was able to spend $25 and got $25 in points so paid out of pocket $2 for a nice jacket!

    I got email saying 15 off 15 points expiring tomorrow. I have not shopped there for last 2 years. I tried to log in they say no account is associated with my email. I have a membership number in my email. Would appreciate if anyone can guide me how to use these surprise $15.

      Take the email you have and do join now then it will ask if you have a membership number or not and that’s when you enter it. You probably have the membership number but not connected thru your email

    oh wow! I never bothered using their surprise points until I saw this post. I had $63 in surprise points, however, most of them had a requirement (like $10 off $50 purchase). I did use one offer: $14 off $14 kids apparel and ordered two pairs of jeans for my grandson for a total of $3.05 after taxes (free in store pick up). From now on I will pay closer attention to these emails from KMart! thank you! Jeans don’t last for too long with one active boy we’ve got. thank you!!!
