Mine would not let me combine the 10% tree coupons w/ the $50 off…oh well, it is STILL an AWESOME deal…I was able to score a 7.5ft tree for $54!!! thanks Collin! You and the HipTeam and the HipReaders rock! I was about to pay almost $200 yesterday for a similar tree at Lowe’s…so glad I didn’t!

Sounds like all your merchandise doesn’t qualify. Check You have $100 worth of holiday items. Trees, lights, ornaments, etc.

    • Rfpowell

They are also having issues with website…I would call. I had to and then even in process of being on phone it said I only had two things in my cart and I had had 7…so I had to go back and find everything againπŸ˜”

    • Amackey

Tax is not included, so all your items have to equal to $100 with no tax.
It happened to me at the store, I had to run back and get another Xmass item.

      Hope this was helpful
      Happy Holidays!!

Got 2 throw blankets, 2 decorative pillows, an ornament holder, and a vase for $49 shipped! I also had a flier that had a one time use code for $10 off $50 Home purchase that came in a mailer that I used as well. Finished my Christmas shopping! πŸ™‚ Look through the collections b/c they have things that are not listed in the all Christmas decorations items.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great score Katie!

Elf on the shelf did not work. Sad!

    • Cbeths

Elf on the shelf is excluded from almost all coupons. Assuming it’s likely the manufacturer restricting this…like Nike.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for sharing Lisa.

Buyer beware. The signage for this sale was in EVERY aisle. When we get to checkout the cashier says it doesn’t work on the gift bags cuz they are considered stationary. Tried to agree my case and she wouldn’t do anything. Voided the transaction. Went to customer service and they re-rang everything and manually took the $50/$100 off. So thankful. So just be aware that YMMV.

  8. Heidi

I had a horrible time in store. I asked before on nearly every item. I believe kitchen towels, etc were not included. I ended up voiding the whole transaction over a few $$ of non qualifying items because the clerk had no idea what they were.

  9. Katherine

This was a very difficult shopping experience. I was not allowed to purchase the wine glasses on the shelf with the sale signage. It frustrated me. I did however get a table cloth, table runner, bed sheets and a rug. It was just annoying not knowing what was included in the sale. I had a manager check me out and manually push the coupon through; if not for that, I would have given up & walked out with nothing.

  10. Megan

I had no issue using it. Got lights, nativity set, wrapping paper and some other small decorative items. Scanned at checkout in store with no issues

  11. Heather B

Got a bunch of ornaments, mini tree skirts, decorative pillows, holiday rug, table runner and hand towels. The coupon didn’t go through, but the cashier agreed that everything I had was “holiday” and the manager manually entered the discount. I think the signage and the coupon details vs what the system had set up were out of sync, especially if you picked up anything other than ornaments or trees.

Hip2save has saved me a TON of $$ this year. Which I had known about this site sooner!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yay!! Glad to hear you were able to score so many great deals! πŸ™‚

  12. Workaholic

Bought a Cmas tree, ornaments, wreath, and tree topper. I wasn’t going to buy any of that this year, but this sale changed my mind. πŸ˜³πŸ˜³πŸ˜„πŸ˜„

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad you could grab some great items!

  13. June

    Can you get extension cords?

    • Kelly

I was able to. In the Christmas shop section

Frustrated with Target for the first time ever. Picked out the tree I wanted yesterday but waited to get it today for the $50 off. Went to get it today and they were out of stock. Totally understandable. I got on my phone to try to order it online but online was out off stock too. Again understandable and site claimed that another store had plenty in stock. Instead of risking it I went ahead and ordered it online with in store pick up, which I thought would guarantee I would get it. We drove across town to pick it up only to be told that they were out of stock. Sorry, we can refund your money. 3 hours later, I have no tree and out the $50 coupon. Sad and frustrated.

    • marnm02

Oh no! I would have been upset too. The tree I wanted showed low stock/unavailable for online order at all the stores near me this morning, so I ordered it online at a store an hour away. Then I went about my day and didn’t make the trek to get it for several more hours. If they would have sold it to someone else during that time I would have been fuming! Maybe try talking to management and see if they can extend the $50 for you to use tomorrow if you can find it at another store?
