   We had the seahorse for my kids and ended up throwing it out. It constantly got hot and we worried about it. Friend of ours actually had a melted piece on theirs when they went to change the batteries. Come to find out that many people had this problem and some caught on fire. Fisher Price refused to do a recall. Here is the news article on it. Just a heads up to parents out there.

  Hmm bummer sorry! We’ve had them for our twins since near birth, they’re four now & still work great! I read the issue was people trying to use rechargeable batteries in them. (?) Totally anecdotal I know but we’ve used regular batteries and have had zero problems.

    Got snoopy & glow bunny instead of seahorse. This will be perfect for the car rides in the evening. Bunny plays 15 minutes vs Seahorse 5 minutes only. Thx!

    Yes, I would avoid the seahorse. It’s cute &a great price, but it’s been recalled a couple of times. Maybe this is a new model though

    I did this last night and the discount wasn’t be taken. I contacted customer service about it and they had me place the order and said they would subtract the $15.99 when it shipped. Great deal. 🙂

    It was taking the discount off when I went to check out, but after I did, it charged me full price. Chatting with customer service right now and they say they can’t find any such promotion. I even sent them a link to the promo page and the rep says he can’t see the promo.

  I kept talking to them just in case i needed to get ahold of them in case they forget to refund..so when i gave him the order # he sent ahead and changed the seahorse to $.00 YAY!!! LOVE AMAZON!!! WOHOOOO $8.56 for 2 toys!!
