    OMG!!! Again why would anyone give away their stuff…none of these hot deals like this get shipped unless u have prime and it gets shipped before the seller can stop it…I wish Collin would stop posting these deals like this…

        A lot of companies will do specials where it costs very little or is free to get their company out there in hopes of you sharing your experience. Its no different than having a coupon for a free item to try in the store.

      Actually these codes and free items happen regularly on amazon. An online retailer will make a code and for example 100 free headphones. Once that quota is reached the code will “expire”. The point of this all is so people who receive the free items will write a positive review. Which will boost the seller’s rating, and of course boost future sales. hth.

      Why would anyone give away free product? Sometimes companies do this as a form of advertising. Word of mouth is one of the biggest forms of advertising for companies… So maybe they had so many they could give out hoping that if people use them, they will tell others about them.

      Y’all, Collin doesn’t know whether the deal is a mistake or not. She posts what’s out there for us to use at our own discretion. If you think the deal is a mistake and is gonna get cancelled, then just don’t order it. I think we can all appreciate that Collin works hard to find deals applicable to EVERYONE: students, parents, to-be parents, teachers, etc. So if a deal doesn’t apply to you, don’t complain. There’s always a chance the order might not be cancelled! And if it is, well, it only cost me the 2 minutes it took to sign in, add to cart, enter promo code, and check out. It’s no big deal.

      Its her site, she can do whatever she wants. Sometimes things are free from amazon if you are a prime member., its not like she has direct information from them so everything is a long shot and Collin isn’t trying to trick anyone. If you don’t like what she post them remove yourself from her site its just that easy. She works hard to try and save us as much money as possible.

      This comment is very untrue. Please see my comment above, I product review for Amazon and they actually DO send free stuff. Not everyone who orders gets them but if you are on the up & up on when they will be, you do get lots of free items in exchange for honest reviews

      Its not about an order getting cancelled this is more about telling people to do something that may not be legitimate… Collin should realize she has thousands of followers and that they just blindly do what she says. I love it when she offers deals for aves like kohls but most of these “hot” Amazon deals are a big mistake meant for a specific person. Collin has a great responsibility to lead people to deals that dont cause harm to people who have small businesses…

        I agree with you on this. I love this site and have scored some amazing deals from her posts! The code posts that seem fishy are my only minor complaint with the site. A lot of the time these codes aren’t meant to be shared. I realize she’s just passing on info she has received, but sometimes I wonder why she would do that if she’s not sure where these codes came from. Due to the wording of this particular post I don’t think this is one of those circumstances, but I’ve seen others where several people stated it was a code people received for a deal in exchange for a review. Just my opinion though. I do appreciate all of her work and send in deals myself when I find them. ๐Ÿ™‚

    I had purchased them and realized I had clicked on my expired card instead of my current one. Cancelled it to order with the right card & they’re no longer available ๐Ÿ˜ž I didn’t really need them anyway, just thought it was a good deal. Maybe it was just meant for me to let someone that needs them get a pair. My beats are still awesome!

    I placed an order with the code so my total was $0. I just checked the order status and looked at the invoice and my total was $17.99 and was going to be charged to my credit card. I canceled the order. Everyone that got these for “free” should check their invoices and make sure their total is still $0.

      That only shows the price of the actual product. You won’t be charged 17.99. Prime does that will all my discount orders.

    The first couponing site I went to was KCL but I no longer use that site. KCL lies about prices and the site is filled with ads. They also never post where they found the deals when its clear they got it from other sources. Their website takes forever to load because of those ads. I love Hip2Save because Collin posts actual deals she would get and tells you straight up how much the deal is. She also provides sources where she found them. Collin also emails and comments back. KCL are so stuck up and they rarely respond to comments. Just wanted to say thank you Collin. I’ve saved so much money since I first stumbled upon this site in November. Thank you so much for all you and your team do ๐Ÿ˜Šโค

    Mine still shows as $0…note that you shouldn’t look right next to the item on the Orders page; that will show the price of the item. You should look above that, where it shows the date the order was placed. That will show you the amount paid. Then of course you can also click the Invoice button to see more details, and you should still see the “-$17.99 promotion applied” noted there. I haven’t gotten either a shipping confirmation or a cancellation, so we shall see!

    To all of you talking smack (trying to not cuss) about Collin and the things she posts seriously??? STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT FREE STUFF!! I have gotten many MANY wonderful free things thru her amazing website, and I have also missed out on many. She does an amazing job in letting us know whats out there for us. It is NOT her responsibility to take your hand and click on it in perfect time for you to get it. Offers expire get over it people. Companies DO give free things constantly to help boost their sales and put their name out there because HELLO if you like the product youll either talk about it or order one for someone else. Companies have a limited amount of free things they give away so of course not all of us will get one so again if you didn’t pay for it, stop crying about it geesh. Collin, thank you so very much for your amazing website I have gotten to accumulate a lot of little samples that when I was amazingly broke with my newborn helped me not have to worry about purchasing little things and I was able to get by, for example shampoos, pads, toothpaste etc.

    Thank YOU Collin, ironically I was literally thinking about how great it would be to have some of these if we are gonna make a goal to hit the gym this year! I got an awesome pair of buds in a sub box that my 13 yo claimed before it was even out of the box!
    As for all the comments/”opinions” as I tell my kids for every finger you point at someone/something there are 3 more pointing back at you (thumbs don’t count) bc under that thumb is a solution—pull it back, look inside yourself and find a solution OR stick that thumb in your mouth to quiet the negativity ๐Ÿ‘ this is an overall awesome community thanks to Collin and her team and all their work! ๐Ÿ˜Š

    I bought two of these under different accounts with minutes of each purchased. One account is prime, the other one is not. My prime ordered got cancelled but my other one has a delivery confirmation. So strange. What makes it even stranger is that I purchased the item under my prime account first and the other purchase was completed afterwards under my sister’s account. One would think the 2nd purchased would be the technical error and cancelled one. Maybe they are choosing which account to receive the item? Regardless, It was worth a shot and I’m crossing my fingers that I will get one.
