CVS: 90% Off Holiday Clearance (Reader Finds)

My store dropped to 90% off holiday clearance today! I got a ton of items for $19.16 ($15.16 after I used $4 in EB’s) and I received $0.75 cents EB on the Mars candy this week. I’m excited because my Girl Scouts troop is making 50 Valentine treat bags to take to the children in the hospital at next month and we can put a sheet of stickers in each treat bag and I found some puzzle games we can donate to their children’s/patient activity room.
I got 5 gift card holder gift boxes, 3 packages of Christmas boxes, 1 pencil pouch 2/4 markers, 10 packages of 256ct stickers, 4 puzzle games, 7 gift bags, 1 package of bows, 1 package of tags, 2 spools of ribbon, 2 spools of cloth ribbon, 2 packages of garland, 4 rolls of gift wrap, 1 Santa hat, 1 jar of cherry gummy worms, 1 box of Christmas cards, 1 package of tissue, 1 small box of Whitman’s chocolates, 1 pocket pack of cleansing wipes, 1 keyboard duster tool, & 1 package of pretzel M&M’s with a 75¢ EB reward.

Mine was really picked over but I got to/from tags for 29c and 2 packages of boxes (6 & 8ct) for 59c each!

Our local stores (Northern CA) went 90% off on Sunday merchandise only, the candy went from 75% off to 50%! Not sure the thought process there! Before the candy prices went up I was able to buy M & M’s for $1.09 minus an online coupon I found for $1/2 packages so 59c for the 12 ounce bags. Coupons at coupons.com
My store went 90% on Sunday. They must have just changed the sign over because i was able to score 10 wrapping papers, a big Noel Marquis sign, Singing Olaf, gift card holders, boxes, tissue paper and a few small stocking stuffers. My daughter who was looking at something else, came around the corner and saw my cart piled up and says “this is what happens when I leave you alone in a store”!

I saw the post as I was sitting in a CVS parking lot, debating whether I should go in or use the drive through for my script. I went in and got 7 rolls of wrapping paper, 15 rolls of ribbon a few other random things for 90% off. Thank you!
I found small packages of Lindt chocolate truffles for $0.09 each(72 n 48 were left), M&Ms bags of chocolate at $0.44 each, bags with dark chocolate truffles for $0.55 each, bags with milk chocolate truffles at $0.55 each, bags of Reeses peanut butter cups for $0.44 each, and some gift bags at $0.25 each ( they don’t look Xmas like so price check what’s in the area). Best part is that I will be using these items for my baby’s 1st b-day. Lindt chocolates will b the favors & rest for candy bar.
I got 65 items of makeup for $50, yesterday. Nearly all of it was 90% off. Mascara was less than $1 and nail polish was 24 cents amongst other items. Super cheap!

I went to CVS yesterday and everything was 90% off too. When I went there, their stock was the same as last week (as in nothing picked over really). I got a couple of boxes of Christmas cards (snoopy ones!)
This year there are a lot of unmarked 90% clearance deals. I was able to get a Claw Machine for $1.99, a basketball arcade game for $1.99, makeup kits for $2.00, Burtbees pack of 5 lip balm for $.99 and bath sets for $.69. My advice is scan, scan, scan!
Lip balm would be awesome but out story get picked over at 50%
All of the items I found were not in the Christmas Clearance Section. The make up kits were mixed in with the other make up kits that our regular priced. The Burt Bees were with all of the other Burt Bees items and the toys I found were in the Toy aisle. Were the makeup kits by MUA and Wet n Wild?
Lexington Ohio was pretty picked over candy is 75%. There was some wrapping paper and bows but really nothing
I was in my CVS this week in Grand Rapids MI area and the clerk told me that corporate told them they could not mark the candy down to 75% this year – something about sending everything to a clearance center instead. There was lots of candy left on the shelf. They did mark the non-edibles to 90%. The clerk was frustrated because they need the room for Valentine stuff. Who knows what corporate is thinking.
I found a stocking stuffer display at 90% off, including hand lotions, lip balm, and 2-packs of hand sanitizer for 29¢ each!
My store is marked 75% but when I scanned the products it is actually 50%. I took a few things up to the cashier to change prices to 75 and she said no. Whatever the register says, goes, even though it is marked 75. I called manager over and she agreed with cashier. I left the xmas items.
Lake in the hills, Illinois store is wiped out!!
Over the weekend I got big bags of M&Ms and kisses for $.44 and some lindt truffles for $.52. The store near my house never has candy left to markdown to 90% off but this store out in the sticks did.
All the CVS in my town went to 90% last Friday. I hit 6 and raked it in. Lots of candy and wrapping paper in particular.
I also was able to get M&Ms for 44 cents per large bag. I found Star Wars key chains with candy for 19 cents. Two metal Christmas light decorations- a Noel sign for $2.50 and a reindeer for $1.60.

One year I got a wooden kids guitar and women’s rainboots for $5 after Christmas. Had to pay $25 for a second guitar for my son this year. I always hope to find stuff like this again. I didn’t think to check the normal isles for Christmas clearance.
I got super cute penguin wrapping paper (85 ft) for 59c in Boston metro area, they also had lights, gift boxes, some gift bags, bows– all 90% off. Rite Aid here is still at 75%.
I got 3 Chia Pets for $1.79 each.
my CVS had dog sweaters and snickers trees left …. WOW, guess I waited too long to shop
Stopped at mine today. Only edible items left at 50%. Mars candy was better priced with a coupon & sale this week.
