My husband does not have this same exact model but same brand and I feel so bad for all the time, effort and energy he spent trying to grow herbs. He has a green thumb, but because of winters here in MA he thought this would be a good idea to still enjoy fresh herbs. I dont think we harvested one leaf! The plants did not grow big enough to do so. They were sad looking and eventually they all died. One didnt germinate at all. He followed all the steps and feed them exactly as instructed. Just my honest feedback. Maybe it was just bad seeds.

Ours turned out the same way, everything looked really sad and thin and pathetic. So disappointing after what we spent on the unit, seeds and food.

Don’t waste your money! We tried this last winter and it was so disappointing! It grew nasty mold!

Glad I saw this, I ordered the 3 pod unit yesterday and was able to still cancel and order this for only $10 more. Thanks for posting.

We got 6 pod unit but not LED light that means old model and started end of last year. A couple days ago, we harvested basil, cilantro and fennel… Basil for pizza, cilantro for fish tacos… I feel we can expect harvesting basil and cilantro once a week from now on.

I wouldn’t waste your money or time. It’s a pain to maintain and we never harvested anything. You have to use distilled water and the light is really, really bright. Just buy your own little plants for a fraction of the price.
