Dollar General

If you have a Dollar General nearby, it appears that their Christmas items are now only $0.25 each! Check out the emails and photos I received today…

In case you didn’t know, Dollar General “Christmas” items went to $0.25. The workers didn’t even know, so I had a lady scan, scan, scan for me. The best part for me was the candy and food – Easter baskets are all set! I got all this for under $11!

Dollar General

The Dollar General $0.25 Christmas clearance begins today. I was able to snag $257.77 worth of stuff for $26.79! Happy shopping!

Central Illinois – My mom got $178 worth of things for $6.75. Apparently they had some big $$ items left-and were only a quarter. My local DG didn’t have much left over and I love in west-central Illinois….

Hit 2 stores even though I shouldn’t have but I had to. Spent $10.83 at store #1 and $10.87 at store #2. Stores 3 & 4 were wiped clean last week so I skipped them. Thanks for the details about stopping by. Now I need a 12×12 room to store all my crap from Target, WGs, CVS, Dollar Gen & 99 only. 😜

I just happened to go to a Dollar General near my home and seen the sign outside when I got there right when they opened. Good thing!! I was able to get 3 carts full, filling my car & trunk. I then went home, unpacked, grabbed a cold drink as all that shopping made me quite thirsty, and decided to go to the DG 20 mins away. That one only had a few Christmas items with the 25 cent sign but because of shopping at the other DG first, I knew what was for sale, even though none of the items were actually with the Christmas items. The cashier was shocked when every single item rang up for only a quarter! I filled up the cart, checked out then went right back in to search the other half of the store. Once again, I filled up both car & trunk. All together, the total from both stores came to just under $30.00. I got a few “Christmas” boxes, etc., but I primarily bought food for my local food bank, which I’ll bring tomorrow. Any food item that appears to look like a holiday (Christmas) item (including Fall – Thanksgiving) should ring up $.25. I just took a chance on some of the food items and luckily it all was part of the Christmas sale. I can take a photo if anyone wants me to, I just have to finish unpacking, lol!!
