Where is the walmart post
Yeah I was just about to read comments to see if it worked for everyone 🙁
I rarely ever trash posts… however, one of the gals who works for me posted this deal (as I was off the computer). Anyway, when I got back on and looked at the deal and the comments… well, I decided that it was best to delete since I am leaning towards thinking this was an error. I am guessing Walmart may send out $10 gift cards instead of $25 gift cards and I just didn’t want people to continue to place orders tonight… so I really felt removing was the best option. So sorry about this. 🙁

I would just print everything so that we have back-up if we receive $10 gift cards. They can at least refund us the shipping fee if we receive $10 gift cards.

For those who purchased the Walmart gift card, did your confirmation show they were $25 each? Mine doesn’t state that. I am thinking if I will get 5 $10 gift cards!
By the looks of it it looks just like they are going to Send $10 gift cards. That’s what it looks like on my receipt. Ugh.
My email states price of the Walmart card is $10.00. I believe the amount is still $25. The email list quantity, price of card, and total costs. I brought 5 cards totaling $50.

I received that same email too. And I know my payment info was correct. Guess it’s a way that they can cancel the order.

Well that was annoying! He didn’t speak good English or really seem to know what he was talking about. He did say it’s an error and canceled the order for me and gave me some authorization code to call my bank with. I’m not sure what that’s about. While I was on the phone with him I just canceled the order myself online. And I don’t think I’ll be calling my bank. He said the cards were $10 each.
How do you cancel yourself online?
If you have an account, login and the giant cancelation button is right there on your orders.
I just did the same. I requested a cancellation.
I set up a new purchase and when I clicked check out, it said the item was out of stock. I cancelled to be safe. It would have been a great deal though!
Now if you go online the $25 option isn’t even available for that gift card! If you chose a $10 gift card is says its on sale for $10. Was $25 lol clearly an error too. When I canceled it said I will get an email if they are able to cancel it. If they are not able to cancel it then I will get an email when it ships. So I guess I will call my bank tomorrow with this authorization code and see what they say. Ugh.
Well I’d rather they can then send the $10 and charge me shipping😊

I contacted the Walmart customer service and they told me that they were only worth $10 each, not $25. I asked them to cancel my order and they said they would do their best.
I contacted Walmart.com customer service and the woman said yes it is real. I asked her to double check into it and everything she said they can’t just change orders either so if you have your receipt they have to honor it. She said it was not a mistake after I repeatedly asked.
Sounds to me like all the employees are on different pages. My sister just spoke with someone who said they are working on the issue, but haven’t decided on a solution. They told her to wait it out. I’m going to wait it out. Surely they won’t ship out the wrong item. I’d think they’d cancel all the orders before shipping the wrong product.
Thank you for the update. I hope they honor it as well but won’t be surprised if they just cancel all of the orders. I’ll wait it out and hope for the best. I took a screenshot of the page showing I was paying $10 for $25 – I figured worst case, I’d get cards of $10 value and argue with them to refund my shipping to break even.
That’s what I’m thinking. I shop at Walmart, so it’s not like I wouldn’t use them. Surely they would refund shipping when it’s their error.

I just spoke to customer service because it was a site error they are still gonna charge me for the two I got plus shipping but they’re also going to send me a goodwill e-card for $25 so I technically got $50 worth of gift cards are $45 for $25 so that’s not too bad.

I just called and at first he said the denomination was $10 and I told him there was a promo and that didn’t sound right and he said oh wait they are for $25 each. He had to go to a different page to see the denomination of the card. He verified that even though I paid $10 the denomination was $25 and mine were to ship out today. Worst case they come and they are $10 and I fight them because I have screen shots of my order showing the $25 denomination. Not sure how you can share screen shots as my name shows on the screen shot so they can verify it was me placing the order.

Can everyone just stop freaking out? Stop making phone calls and alerting Walmart of the issue. Just wait and see what happens to your order. If you get $10 Gift Cards, that’s when you whip out your phone and call corporate. Otherwise, you are just ruining it for the rest of us who know how to act during a glitch. Seriously!!

I called and got the $25 e card as well. I only ordered two, so that was a great thing for me! Walmart didn’t have to do anything, it was an error, but I’m greatful for them trying to rectify it!
I canceled my order myself the night all this happened and haven’t spoken with anyone since. So I was surprised that they just emailed me a $25 ecard!
I spoke to customer service and they gave me a $25 egift card for the inconvenience. All my orders were cancelled. I didn’t automatically get the gift card though.
