Does the coupon beep at Walgreens? I hate using coupons at Walgreens when they beep

Can the coupon be used on the Starburst flavor?
Yes I just got 6 packs for free.
The coupon is specifically for “slim pack” gum and Juicy Fruit Starburst is not one of them. I don’t think it will beep but not sure if it’s ok to use it on the gum that didn’t say “slim pack” on the package. Maybe Collin can explain it better.
These coupons always beep for me at Walgreens. I tried using 4 of these today and they beeped. The employee finally pushed them through, but I dont understand why these issues at Walgreens?
If they ring them up separately, it works better.
This gum loses flavor so quickly.

I agree, I don’t like them “as an adult person”, I do love all the gums with mint flavors which last long enough. But kids loves them so much!

Just returned from Walgreens. Got 6 and paid .21 tax. Two of the coupons wouldn’t scan. Didn’t beep, just didn’t do anything. The cashier scanned one of the coupons that did scan for the ones that wouldn’t. Got the starburst
Flavor. Be due to check the expiration dates. The cherry at my store expires feb 16 of 2016.

That’s manufacturer “best buy” reccomendations….it’s only been within the last decade(plus or minus a year here or there) that these codes have been put on every single item. They are no holy grail or absolute!
(gum that’s years old may not taste great or hold up, but it won’t expire or spoil)
My cashier didnt take the coupons it beeped and she said they were already on sale that they would not take coupon bummer.
I would go to a different Walgreens or are different time.
Next time make sure they are rung up separately

Newer packages of the Juicy Fruit have a promotion on them for The Avengers Civil War. Each package has a code on them. Collect 5 codes for a movie voucher up to $10. So far I have only seen the newer ones at Wal-Mart so price match!

What is the limit you can buy in a transaction?
I bought four in one transaction because I was not sure of the limit. The cashier at this store was great, she mentioned she had to scan each one individually so the coupons would work for all four. I went back and got my other four coupons and got another set of four. Wish this was my normal store.
I bought a bunch from Target and the cashier said the taste lasts him forever. He said it’s his favorite gum. I’ve tried it and didn’t LOVE it, but didn’t hate it either:)
My store only had cherry plenty of both flavors in stock. Problem is: the cherry ones had an expiration date of 1/12/16. The strawberry ones were slightly better with an expiration date of 4/28/16.
Free is free. Ain’t complaining about that.

My Walgreens has these cherry flavors specially tagged “42 cents” each – now after reading other comments, I wonder if they are close to expiration date? Anyway, I just left and didn’t try to use my coupons because I don’t know if I can use a 50 cent MQ at Walgreens on an item that will ring up 42 cents. Any tips?
