If anyone has ANY luck utilizing this coupon at PetCo, please let the masses know. I for one did not have any luck in my location in Iowa. I went this morning to PetSmart and used them no problems at all. It was NOT free like this deal is at PetCo, but then when they are NOT accepting the coupon… I’ll stick with PetSmart.
I used the coupon at Petco. I purchased 4 items and used 4 coupons. But it was an incredible hassle!!! She told me that their policy is only to allow 1 printed coupon per person/transaction. She finally called corporate and got permission. You can price match at Petsmart, but as per their policy you have to provide proof of the lower price.
What store in Iowa if you don’t mind. I don’t have a petsmart near me so I hope the Mason City petco is good to me tonight… I plan to make the 30 minute drive there just to take advantage of this for my three fur babies.

I just did with no problems. Used 2 coupons, 2 bags for tax which was $1.84
I just used four at my petco and other than them having to enter it manually it was fine.
Please be careful w the Purina pet food products. Many pets have died from eating their food. Look online for the complaints and apparently a class action law suit. I understand the food is made in China and causing liver damage in pets. My friends dog just died from the food symptoms other pets have died from eating the Beneful line. My cat throws up all of the time from eating the Beyond line. I threw it all in the trash….not even donate worthy in my opinion.
Wow, thanks for letting us know! Come to think of it, both my cats have been throwing up lately since eating Beyond for a month. It seemed unusual since they have been eating other brands before and never threw up.
All purina dog food is made in the US.
It really annoys me when someone makes a statement that a certain dog food is made in China before verifying what they “think” is true. Many pets food companies have had recalls, even the big, expensive brands.

My cats have been eating Purina Fancy Feast wet food for over 10 years (oldest cat is 18) and the Beyond dry food for the last 3 years. Both have sensitive stomachs and do well on it.

This is the brand of (dog) food that was the sponser of the 2016 Westminster dog show. The winner was picked LAST NIGHT, so I am guessing this is the reason for the high value coupons? On another related note; Purina ProPlan was giving a MILLION dollars away to anyone who guessed each of the 7 category winners PLUS the best in show dog! I wonder if there was a winner? I got every one wrong!
I quit shopping at Petco a long time ago. Not only are they not coupon friendly but they charge tax based on the full price of the item. (say the item is $100 but on sale for $50 they charge me $100 worth of tax even without coupons.)

That happen with a 55 gallon fish tank I bought. It was on sale $1 per gallon but I was charged tax for the whole non-sale price ($129.99 I think it was). Crazzzzy!
That’s because it’s not “on sale.” It’s a $4 store coupon for being a pals reward member. This is how it shows on the receipt as well. They are justified in charging tax on the full price.

Yeah my dog developed a bacterial infection and now has a permanent seizure disorder and I used to feed Beneful at the time that started. The seizure disorder could be genetic though, no way to really tell. I would not feed Beneful to anyone BUT I have been using Purina Beyond Grain Free for over a year with no issues so I don’t think all Purina is bad.
Here is a link to dogfood advisor where you can check ingredients and reviews for the Purina Pro Plan dog food varieties. Most are 2 1/2 stars out of 5, the Natural variety gets a 3 star review. See if it meets your standards for feeding your fur kids. I feel this is indeed suitable for donations as well.

Lisa, Petsmart price matches and the sale is in the Petco’s ad. You could take it to petsmart, either by getting it instore or printing online, to get the sale price of $9.99 and use the coupon 🙂

Purina is owned by nestle (you guys probably already know) so I wouldn’t be surprised at poor quality. They also make Gerber which is not something I will feed to my kids. The pets are lower on my priority list though so i will use this unless I notice negative symptoms. Still probably better than friskies.

Here is my experience of doing price match at Petsmart for a Petco price. I had a printed ad page from the website upon going to Petsmart. Anyhow, a Petsmart cashier said that she has to call Petco to confirm the price. So, she calls there and introduce herself as person from Petco. They put her on hold to verify the price. Meanwhile, I’m saying that they must be very “excited” to lose a sale to a competitor. Sure, they tell her over the phone that the price is not $9.99 but $12.99 at their store. So, Petsmart says we will only sell it for $12.99. I’m pissed off and walk away from the sale. I’m driving to Petco, asking for a manager and requesting to explain why did they lie about the true price for cat food. Then I insist that they take Petsmart coupon (I had a $5 store coupon and $5 manufacturer coupon). As per policy, Petso and Petsmart are supposed to accept each other’s coupons. Ok, they took both coupons but I paid taxes as if both coupons were manufacturer’s. Of course, I could go back to Petsmart with the printed ad and make a scene there but I decided that me health, time and gas are more valuable.
It’s crazy any employee would act that way – its not like Petco or Petsmart will lose money – they’ll get reimbursed for the coupons and make .08 cents more. Why oh why do people act this way. The manufacturer obviously wants to push their product that’s why they are offering a coupon! Gosh some people act dumb. Sorry 2016year you lost time dealing with such dummies, I hope you have good luck at Petco. 🙂

I was able to get 4 more printed, going tomorrow after work to buy more. I hope they’re still in Stock. I’m going to petco, no problems earlier. Amazing deal, life saver too. My dog goes through spurts where he refuses to eat his food, just wants people food, and this is the only food he eats when he’s in those moods. Hasn’t eaten for the past 2 days, just ate 2 bowls of this! He only gets people food if it falls on the floor so it’s not like he’s spoiled with it. Weirdo, lol

I just got back from petsmart. I got the bags for 11.99each. I got 10bags. My total was 109$ including tax. After coupons my total was exactly 20$ plus the 9.99$ tax. So i paid 29.99$ for 10bags =) it scanned fine, no beeps.
I just got back from Petco. I got 2 bags of cat food for free. Just had to pay $1.89 for tax. Thanks!

tried using this coupon today at PetSmart the register wouldn’t take it instead it was adding the 9.99 to my total instead of subtracting it. Took a bit of time but finally got it all straightened out and the girl manually entered it.

Petco cashier told me that they will not accept this coupon. I don’t know why. So I just price matched it at Pet Smart and they accepted my coupons there with no problem.

Hot 2 bags of dog food to donate! The cat food was all gone, but going back for more of the dog food. I was planning a trip to the shelter with some old blankets and cleaning supplies I got super cheap so the food will be an added bonus!

How is that illegal? She’s asking for any that aren’t being used. She’s not asking to make 100 copies of the same one and try to use them. I’ve done it for people before, didn’t use it so I scan and email it as a pdf, they print it and use it. One coupon used once.

I work and I printed 6. Printed 2 at work, then 4 at home as soon as I got home. I’m a teacher and work in home with a kid after school for an hour. I don’t get home until 530/6 on a typical day.
I get what you’re saying but please be careful of your wording. This comes across and very rude and ignorant. I bust my butt all day and was still able to print this. I work with students with autism and severe behaviors, they bang their heads or bite their arms 200 times a day, because I printed this does that mean I’m not a person that works? “Working people” are able to get these deals.
Some people are not allowed to print at work!!! So be careful what you say….
I can see were Bunny is coming from. I can’t print coupons at work either during work hours. I get home around 6-6:30 and by then most coupons in deals such as this are gone. Also you got to remember Collin has a big following so once she posted this I knew this coupon would disappear. I saw it first on another website and crossed my fingers that it would be there by the time I got home. Once I saw it here a new my chances were slim to none. So yeah I get it Bunny. I feel left out too.
several reporting in my area they are having issues redeeming it, 1 being accused of fraud, she contacted Petco on their fb pg they responded & are escalating the issue, ProPlan is sending her a coupon for a free 10# bag, another had an issue but the manager of another store had no problem pushing it through. But no luck for me since I missed it & now the coupon is gone :*-(
I went to Petsmart tonight to redeem this before it sold out. They had one variety on sale for 6.74. I purchased 8 bags (some of the 6.74 ones and some for 12.32). All the coupons went thru with no problem. So excited to donate this to our shelter. Thank you Collin!

It must be my lucky day. I went to have my van washed after leaving Petco, and they said since it was my 10th, I got a full service wash for free ($25 value!) Yay!
I got mine this morning at Petsmart with a price match and when you buy a bag you get a print out on the receipt for $5 off a 16lb bag. The bigger bags are pricier but if you use this dog food that’s a nice bonus.
