Or –you can purchase a box of the Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits if you wouldn’t have a use for a box of Bisquick. (Just an idea) 🙂

    • Kat

I was going to say the same lol. I’ve tried several copycats and this is just one that can’t be replicated, IMO. The box is awesome and easy though.

      • Ginger

Add a packet of yeast to make it fluffyer, and dont forget garnish it with cool whip for that sweetness.

    • Erin

True! For the longest time, I never bought Bisquick. Now I do because there are a couple recipes I use it for. You can also make your own Bisquick, though I’ve never tried.

      • Heidi N.

Homemade Bisquick is so good and simple to make!

  2. Jen

With it being lent, I needed to throw in some variety on Fridays & make these with Parmesan crusted tilapia & Brussels sprouts. These bisquits are so easy & good. My kids who are very picky eaters love this meal – go figure!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome! Thanks for your feedback Jen!

  3. Jaci

Where do you find old bay seasoning?

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

It’s found with the rest of cooking seasonings – usually used for seafood.

    • mel

Around all the other seasonings. But it can be regional. If you can’t find Old Bay, any “creole” seasoning should do. I think Emeril has one or you can google homemade Old Bay seasoning to make in a pinch.

  4. #bluelivesmatter

Yay!!! Cause I’m boycotting red lobster #bluelivesmatter

    • BeAware

No one said blue lives didn’t matter….all that was said was black lives ALSO matter…along with white…its like going to a breast cancer awareness rally and screaming that all cancer matters… !!!

      • Katie

Not true. I’ve had many people argue with me saying that all lives matter takes away from black lives matter and lessens the cause. I don’t understand how saying everyone matters takes away from saying only a specific part of “everyone” matters. Let’s just all care about everyone.

        • BeAware

Katie then you are not understanding what the group is saying…u don’t need to say White lives matter…because lets be honest here…white lives have always mattered. But when you have an epidemic of unarmed black men/women/teens being shot and/or stopped to be inspected for no reason, saying black lives matter is not saying that no other lives matter.
No need to say all lives matter…here they are just bringing the focus on being black and how we have lots of progress to make…and no im not black…just agree with the cause. My example above still stands, at a breast cancer awareness rally should we be offended and scream ‘ all cancer matters’…no because it doesn’t need saying…thats all. And i like discussing stuff like this..we are all having an intelligent discussion with no name calling.

    • L.

Seriously. We were talking about food.

  5. Jess

They sell them fresh by the half dozen. Sometimes I just call in an order for dinner and eat 2 on the way home and claim it was 4 pack lol

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

Ha! Yes that’d be me 😁

  6. mel

Thanks! I usually get a box of the mix from Sam’s but they were out. These will go great with Crawfish Monica for dinner tomorrow!

  7. Megan

The Redlobster boxes are cheap, too. I got mine at Target for $2. Yum! And so much simpler. My Grandma used to make this copy cat recipe so when I buy the box I think how now she could have just bought the box and saved the extra work. Love Grandmas!

  8. Bethany

Thanks! I’m gluten free and will definitely be making these SOON!

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

      Enjoy!

  9. Susie

    Yum!

  10. lori

I saw red lobster biscuit mix in Costco can I buy that?Any one tried before that mix?

    • Angie

It is not good…it is Amazing! I think it breaks down to about $1.60 a box at Costco. Love that stuff!

      • lori

Do I need to add any thing for that mix? Thank you Angie.

        • Alice

Cheese and water! Then you mix the seasoning packet with melted butter to put on top of the biscuits. So good!

          • lori

            Thank you

      • riss

I bought one before the holidays and forgot to make them. I’ll make some tomorrow!!!!

  11. ILuvH2S

Oh man, I’ve made these before. They are dangerous!

  12. Shannon

Thank you for the Texas Roadhouse bread copy. We love those rolls! But does the butter have sugar or honey in it?

    • mel

These aren’t Texas Roadhouse rolls, but copycat Red Lobster -biscuits-. Texas roadhouse are a yeast based roll and they top it with a honey/cinnamon butter topping.

      • riss

There are also other copycat recipes in the post towards the bottom, one of which is Texas Roadhouse dinner roll.

        • mel

Dohhh!!! Big L on my forehead LOL I totally didn’t see the other copycat links!
