You should definitely look up how to make your own. Much cheaper and work just as good.

    • Shannon

Thank you! Just looked up how to do it. Looks super easy. Printing off a hobby lobby coupon now!

  2. Angela

Thank you! I have three dryer balls, but need more for larger loads & this is a great price.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      YW Angela!

  3. Adrienne

These things are great! I have some but I am buying more at this price! They really do work! Thanks, Collin! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh awesome – glad to hear you like them! 🙂

  4. Lona

These look nice. As far as making them cheaper? Maybe, but not if you’re using quality wool. I have my own sheep, make my own 100% dryer balls using our wool, and sell them for $6 each. This is a great price.

  5. Frecklelily

I wanted to share a trick…I was tired of playing hide n seek with all of these balls in the dryer so I put them all in a lingerie bag. They still work great at drying the clothes and now they all stay together at the end! HTH!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great tip! Thanks!

  6. Breann

I LOVE wool dryer balls! You’ll never look back after using them!

  7. Renee

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Valerie! Make sure that you use the code 26Z34FAY at checkout to drop the price down to $13.26!

  9. Julie C

I own this exact brand for a year now. Great quality and work wonderfully. I would definitely recommend. Cuts down dry time and static. Can put drops of essential oils on them too if you want to freshen any laundry loads up.

  10. Cathy

Thanks for the post! I’ve been wanting to try some of these out! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad you can snag the deal Cathy! YW!

  11. Lee

We don’t even have a dryer. We hang everything to dry in the basement. 🙂

  12. Keri B

I bought another brand last time you posted. They are great! Love that it’s one less thing that I have to buy. Not sure they decrease drying time, but they do eliminate need for dryer sheets

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for such great feedback Keri!

  13. Tracy T

Awesome! Price has dropped so with the code it was only $13 and change plus I did the no rush free shipping to get the pantry credit of a few dollars 🙂 thank you!

  15. Mary

    • frecklelily

      yes, they do! 🙂

  16. Elisa

  17. Andrea

Thanks for posting this! I just purchased essential oils and read about adding them to dryer balls! Just bought these.. Good bye dryer sheets!! 😀

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Andrea!

  18. Kim

    Love my balls!! 😉

  19. Amy

fantastic deal…thank you. These wool dryer balls are being sold in drug store 2 for 9.99, this price for 6 is a great deal! I just bought two, and when got home read the small print. You need 4 to 6 wool balls to work effectively in a large laundry load. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to invest further, but for this price…I am going to give it a try! A company called woozies sells 6 dryer balls + ONE bottle essential oil bottles for $30. I do love the idea of putting dryer balls in a lingerie bag, hoping the product will work the same.

  20. Kimberly

Do these work really well for static ? That’s really the only reason we use dryer sheets and I would love to not have to use them.

    • Keri B

I find that for the most part the clothes come out static free as long as the load is cottons. The things that tend to get staticky are the synthetic blends in my experience. Overall I’ve been very happy with them. Occasionally if I think the load is something that will get a bunch of static I will just toss a dryer sheet in instead.

  21. Freedom

    I love mine. I use 2 at a time.
    Couple drops of essential oils.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Oh cool! Thanks for sharing!

  22. Jenifer

    Got mine!!! Wooohooooo!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So glad you could grab the deal!

  23. Melissa

Ok I bought these when they dropped in price a month ago or so and then my dryer goes out. Before that even happened my (engineer) husband was complaining about the pounding on the drum wall of the dryer and how these can’t be good for your dryer. He says what you gain in energy costs you’ll lose in life of your dryer if not more. So what does my dryer do 3 weeks later? It goes out! 😪.
I think now I’m going to try to find somebody with 🐏 and get something not so heavy!

    • frecklelily

With all due respect, how old was your dryer? I have been using the wool balls, 6 at a time, in my dryer for the past 8 months on a dryer that is 2years old. While I do notice the thumping sound, I haven’t had any internal problems with the dryer. My husband sells appliances at Lowes and still recommends the dryer balls. He said that the sound you hear is the sound of the balls dropping from gravity and not the sound of it being thrown by force towards the drum. I would guess that it could have been just a horrible coincidence that your dryer went out 3 weeks later. In any aspect, dryers are not a fun appliance to replace.

      • Melissa

The dryer was at least 6 years old and bought it new when we built our house. I’m thinking too it was just a horrible coincidence but of course I’m never going to win this argument now and must figure out an alternative wool source! 😤

        • Kathy

          Melissa,
I went to using the dryer balls because a friend told me that the appliance repairman told her that the dryer sheets were really bad for your dryer. I have no idea if he is correct or not. Sometimes we just can’t win!

          • Judy

I was told the same… supposedly the dryer sheet stuff coats the lint screen and prevents heat from escaping and overheats the machine

  24. Traci

I’m fairly sensitive to wool- can’t tolerate anything with wool in it but no issues beside itchiness. Anyone know if these would make everything itchy?

    • me

I am sensitive the worl, too. but I have never had a problem with these. I add a few drops of essential oils and it saves me from using chemicals and junk and they’re amazing 🙂

  25. Kim

Thanks! I’ve always wanted some!!! I LOVE Hip2Save!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re so welcome!

  26. Melanie

Do you know if you can turn these into different color of balls? I don’t want to use them in my dryer but to hang up for photos for a backdrop I’m a photographer.

  27. Kalynn

Did I read somewhere that you could also crumple up aluminum foil and toss in the dryer like these?

  28. mtmkjr

    Promo code not working…. 🙁

  29. mtmkjr

Never mind! I got an error for some reason, but did not see that the discount had already come off!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh good! Glad you could snag the savings!

  30. Beth

I’be had 6 of these balls in my drier for about 4 months now. They work so much better than the hard plastic ones I used to use!! Wish I’d have bought them sooner!!

  31. Sana

Make your first purchase with the Amazon app and use the code SANA5529N to get $5 off

  34. Susan

Is this only good for one purchase. I went back in to try and make another purchase and it did not work.

  35. Lisa

When I saw this post I was in shock cause I just purchased it a few days ago. I emailed Amazon hoping they would give me credit and they responded back quickly saying they would. I am so happy. Thanks Collin for the code.

  36. Amy

Thanks, ordered some. By the way, do you know if you get multiple $5.99 Prime Pantry credits from multiple orders, can you stack them?

  37. john Rinker

    Expired 3/3

    • dealhousewife

Bummer – was just coming to get some. yea, code doesn’t work for me either.

  38. Moni B.

Question: Does anyone know if these balls put white lint or fuzzies on any black/dark clothes that are in the dryer with them? Are there dark/black wool dryer balls that could be used with darker clothing?
