Looks like these are automatically renewed. So anyone subscribing, be watchful at the end of your free subscription.
You can (and should) cancel the auto-renewal right after ordering, that way you won’t forget. it’ll show up under “manage your subscriptions” about 10 minutes after you order.
Did anyone do this back when it was posted in October? I cancelled my subscriptions before the 4 month period, but I never received my refunds. They charged me $12 for each of my three subscriptions, and even though I cancelled them, I never got my money back 🙁
did you contact their customer service?
Yes I reached out to them shortly after posting this, and they processed my refund for all three subscriptions! So I guess you just have to contact them if your refund didn’t process yet. It hasn’t shown up on my credit card statement yet, but they say give it 1-2 days so we’ll see.

I cancelled and never got charged. Or so I thought. I’ll have to check for sure.
Same thing happened to me. I cancelled but was still charged $36 for 3 subscriptions. Talked with customer service at the magazines and at Amazon. After waiting 3 months for my refund, I finally called Am Ex and they issued me a refund and now they are dealing with Amazon. Would never order from this again.
