Target shoppers! As I mentioned in the Target Weekly Deals and in my video (above), through April 9th, you can save $5 off your $25+ C9 Champion Kids’ Activewear Apparel purchase with the coupon found in the Target ad or when you text KIDS to 827438 on your smartphone.
To sweeten things further, select Kid’s C9 shorts are priced at just $5 (reg. $7.99) AND it appears that these items are also ringing up Buy 1 Get 1 50% off at checkout!
Check out this *HOT* deal idea:
Buy 8 pairs of C9 Champion Girls’ knit or Boys’ mesh shorts $5 each (reg. $7.99)
Minus Buy 1 Get 1 50% off = $30
Use the $5 off $25 C9 Champion Kids’ Activewear Apparel purchase coupon (text KIDS to 827438)
Final cost $25 total – just $3.13 each!
(Thanks, Sharon!)
These are available online too but not the buy one get one 1/2 off.
Yea! With three boys I can never have enough mesh shorts. That’s all they want to wear!
Is it just the shorts that are coming up BOGO 1/2 off?
I was just there and bought 6 pairs of shorts (boys and girls). Mine were not BOGO 50%. Maybe specific ones are ringing up as that? My store had very little selection left of $5 shorts. It was still a great deal for $5 each and the target coupon!
Darn! Sorry they didn’t ring up buy 1 get 1 50% off for you. All of the pairs I purchased did, but maybe it is just specific ones.
I stumbled on this deal this morning. 5 pair of shorts rang up to $15. I was expecting $20, so I was happy with the the unexpected discount.
Awesome!
Can someone please help me with text $5 off? I don’t have mobile. TIA.
You need to have a mobile device to request/receive the coupon. If you have a basic mobile (non smart) phone that you can send/receive text messages, you can request the mobile coupon, then type the address from the text back link in your computer’s address bar and print the coupon out that way. I used to do that before I got my smartphone.
Or if you have a friend / family member that has a mobile, have them request the coupon for you, forward it to your email, then you should be able to open the link and print it.
You can get a google voice account and text to short codes (which is what 827438 is) with that directly from the internet.
I wonder how I can tell if they will ring up BOGO without standing in line and etc
Won’t it say on the price check machine?
I purchased 5 pair. Should have been $25 so I was ready with my $5 off coupon. Then they ended up being bogo 1/2 off as you posted making it all such an awesome price already. I decided to have her scan my $5 off coupon even tho I hadn’t spent the $25 as planned. It scanned! Such an awesome deal!!
That’s fraud.
It’s not fraud. Its all about the terms of the coupon, it could have been spend $25 before other discounts. I can’t see the fine print, but I’m sure Target programs the codes exactly the way they want them to ring up.
How short are those shorts!? Not much of an inseam on some of those girls’running shorts. Yikes.
I passed on the girls shorts for this reason. I only buy the Bermuda type shorts for my daughter and the C9 ones I saw in store were way too short.
The boys shorts are much longer, but not as cute (pattern/color wise).
C9 was BOGO 50% last week, maybe it’s a glitch that some are still coded that way?
Worked for me. Wasn’t expecting the discount so it was a nice surprise.
Thanks for the heads up! Ran to Target after school and picked up 5 pairs to use the $5 off $25 coupon and mine too also rang up at BOGO half off AND she scanned my $5 off coupon + another 5% with Red card! 🖒
Great deal Jill! YW!
When I try to text KIDS to the number I get no response. What am I doing wrong?
The code is kids5
I bought 5 pairs of shorts but 4 of them rang up buy one get one half off plus I bought 2 clearance fitted long sleeved shirts for $4.98 and got the $5 coupon so total was $24!!
anyone know if this is still available today?
I’m wondering the same thing… anyone know???
The deal is good through Saturday, I wouldn’t wait though my Target didn’t have a lot of sizes available.
I just came from target. The $5 shorts rang up buy one get one 50%off!! Such a great deal when added with the $5 off $25!
I noticed the boys shorts that rang up the b1g1 50 off were the solid mesh style ones and not the ones with a stripe down the side..if that can help anyone out! My son always can use shorts so thanks for the great deal. $5 is even a good value as the cheaper quality circo shorts are 5 as well. Thanks!
Thanks so much for the helpful feedback Jessica! Good to know!
thanks Jessica! 🙂
anyone have a DCPI #??
Just bought some this morning so tell me where to find it on the shorts or my receipt and I can give you a few of them
Here are some numbers from my receipt. I mostly got boy’ med. and 1 girls
039023091
039062530
039062525
039061764
039061769
039061765
Basically the ones that are REG. Price $7.99 are the ones that are on sale for $5 and they are ringing up BOG50%, although if you price check in the aisle scanner it doesn’t tell you that. The boys are the plain colors, red, black, navy, blue, grey and they DO have pockets. The girls had 2-3 styles included at my store and yes they are short, but they do have attached “panty covers” not sure what they are called but the ones that were mesh with attached bike shorts underneath were not the $5 ones i don’t think. The other prices ranges $9.99 and $12.99 not sure if they were on sale as well I didn’t scan any of those.
My son would prefer the ones with different colors on them and stripes but these will be great as “play” ones and extras and my daughter will like the colors. Girls definitely had better styles, although awesome that the boys had pockets. The Circo brand is also there for $5 reg. price but no pockets but littlier guy sizes
Sorry, wish I could edit previous post.
The first DCPI# is for a girl’s multi-color short w/ the “panty” size 7-8
The rest are boy’s size M (8-10) and 1 L (10-12)
They had boy’s sizes S (6-7), M, L, XL
