If you have a Sports Authority nearby, you may be interested to know that they are filing Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and approximately 140 stores nationwide will be closing over the next few months. With that being said, you may be able to score deep discounts at your local store! I found 50% off clearance prices, in-store only! Massive good deals on winter wear, fitness outfits and shoes. I stopped at the other store in Anchorage and picked up some $6-7 shorts and a $7 under Amour shirt. Can’t beat these prices! The sweatshirt deals are crazy. Mine is not in the pic because I’m wearing it. 🙂

Wow! Will be checking it out for sure! Check your entertainment books, I had coupons in mine last year that were good till Jan. I used them in the after Christmas sales. Not sure if they put more in this year, defiantly worth the check 🙂
At our Sports Authority it was only 20% discount right now. There were a few categories of items which were an additional % off. All sales are final so you don’t want to load up on only 20% off. I am hopeful the discount will increase as time goes on.
I wish I had one by me, I love those under armour shorts and at that price they’re a steal! They’re the only athletic shorts I buy now because they are so comfortable!

I think our store might already be closed. They were doing 20 – 40% off entire store a couple of months ago and people were buying even with 20% off, so they didn’t have much left at that time already.
I saw a local store with closing signs last week, but was too tired to walk in with my very active 2 year old, might have to make a trip this week.

Just saw mine is closing Sunday, now I will stop and check because I know why now…just lost our Macy’s and previously the Sears (in the same building). Now we have almost nothing in our town…sad.

Ft. Myers, Fl is only 20-30% off sale prices. Would not let me use 20% coupon either. Sales final and no additional discounts.

SA has had the discounts since the day after the Chapter 11 announcement. Everything here has been picked off after the first week. Go take a look but don’t get your hopes up because most of the size you want is gone.
Just a heads up the 50% off isn’t running in closing doors….. Those are at a maximum of 30% off. There is a chunk of stores that are staying open doing the 50% off clearance sale. It was for go forward stores only. Hope that helps. Call your local store and ask I can verify that Niles, Il is on the 50% off sale.
