Is it limit 3 per day?

  2. Colleen M.

    Is this in-store only?

  3. Diane

Are there a lot of the 1 cent items still in stock. (Trying to decide if I should run out.) Thanks!

    • Andrea

I went yesterday and today in stock of everything both days. I did have to ask associates if some things were in stock. Because they were out of stock on the shelfs. but they had tons in the back and were very helpful getting more from the back.

  4. Christina

Went today my store had lots of .01 and .25 items

  5. 🎈Ellen🎈

Yes limit 3 per day in store only and there was a lot in stock at one of my stores in town but not the other 😁

    • Katie

      Thank you!

  6. Jackie

It’s 3 items per household/business per day. I took my crew with me yesterday that help stock up our classroom… a worker came over and told me that anyone that comes to the store together is considered one household and I can only get 3 each. She wasn’t very nice about it, either.
The only item that they didn’t have yesterday at mine was the colored highlighters.

    • alycis

Wow that was rude of them. My store was surprisingly very helpful. I took my one son in and got his supplies and my hubby took my other son in at the same time and got his. I asked if that was okay and they said yes. I would have asked the lady if it was any of her business? And how does she know your not divorced, or those kids weren’t different families from church? That would have irked me !

  7. Vivian

How does the rebate work? Is it instant? Mail?

    • Jennine

It’s rewards like Walgreens, you have to spend the money there, and it has an expiration date. As to how soon the rewards get put on the card I’m not sure….

  8. Sandy

I just did this deal! Thank you so much!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Sandy!

  9. riss

I bought most of the penny items, and Crayola and Sharpie, with the purchase of Clorox wipes for $5 (3 canisters, which I think is a good price as Target has it on sale for $4.99). The went to Staples for the $0.50 Crayola- I bought 10 more to donate to our local school😊

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great buys! Thanks for sharing!

    • Amanda

If you use a lot of Clorox wipes Wal-Mart has a 4 canister pack in the back to school section for $5.00.

I bought many of the Office Depot deals yesterday in my store in central CA. I purchased over 50 items and the total would’ve been about $125, but I only paid $17. 47!!! My store allows me to do three separate transactions with a minimum of $5 each required. So grateful to you, Collin for the heads up on all of the back to school deals for my 3rd grade classroom. Our school doesn’t send home school supply lists, because we are in a low income area. Also, I don’t receive the Sunday paper anymore, so Hip2Save keeps me in the know on these terrific deals!! 💗 Thanks! 💗

  11. Corinne Char

I also found great clearance deals! They had full size nice staplers for $1 and things of fish oil for $1 (that expire 12/16).

  12. Rose

So you can purchase up to 3 of each item only right? or is it just 3 total

    • Dawn

Rose, you can purchase 3 of each item if you spend a minimum of $5. The sale items count in the $5. My favorite item is the mini stapler with staples…so cute! Happy shopping!

      • Rose

I just Came back and you are right soo cute the staple. paid about 5.89 for all thanks

  13. Suzya

How long do these back to school deals typically last? I’m out of the country for another 2 weeks, the school specifically asks for beads such as crayola, so I can’t just get any brand 😕
    Thanks!

    • riss

I asked the staff and she said they have new deals every week. So Crayola may not be on sale next week.

      • Suzya

Ahh, thank you for letting me know!

  14. GR

Does anyone know how the rewards rebate works on the paper? Does it print out on your slip or go on to your account?

    • Alyce Avary

Last year, I did the paper deal, they send you a check. The rebate info is on the bottom of the receipt.

    • Mel

I think it depends on the reward offer. I did the paper deal in May and the rebate was sent to my OD rewards acct. You can show it on your phone or print it out to redeem. There was nothing on my receipt about the reward and I asked the cashier. She said it should show in my acct 10-14 days, but it was less than that, like a wk later.

  15. Luv2save

I just went to mine and they were cleared of everything except the crayons they said they had more but didn’t stock much and that I just had to keep checking back all this week :/ which isn’t easy with kids but I’ll check prob one more time – great deals though if all is on stock at your store 🙌🏼

    • JennMarie

That’s the exact opposite of mine! They had everything but the crayons! Sometimes I wonder how that location stays in business. Seems like they’re rarely any people there.

  16. Rose

my receipt printed out a coupon for $10 off 40 next purchase. which is a good coupon if buying a backpack or more supplies.

  17. Angie

I went to 2 different stores today. One store was out of highlighters and not helpful at all. The other store was the total opposite, but they didn’t have the scissors. Long story short, I got everything you did, minus the scissors (replaced it with a 3pk erasers) and paid $5.61!! THANK YOU!!

  18. Maile

Thank you so much Collin for posting this sweet deal, I found every thing listed except the ballpoint pens but replaced them with the 3 hole punch for the binder with a bonus ruler! Paid only $5.31!!!!

  19. Theresa

This deal was so great, even my kids thought it was awesome. Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into helping us.

  20. Jack

Is this deal is office depo and office max!?

    • May

I believe the two stores have merged.

  21. Laurie

Mine was completely wiped out 🙁 I didn’t think to ask if they had any in stock. I was a bit disappointed that I could not find even ONE item on the list – ALL of it was sold out on the shelves.

  22. Claudia Leguizamon

Are there any other items for this
deal? I really dont need the mini staplers or the pencil boxes.
