    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Sweet find!

  2. Amy

I picked up a Bratz Selfie snaps for $1.50!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great score Amy!

  3. Andrea

I was so bummed today that Target didn’t have the big 70% off toy markdown today as expected. The employee in the toy department that I spoke with said they aren’t doing it this year. It will just be random mark downs as usual πŸ™

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Sorry to hear that πŸ™

    • Pao

I heard and employee talked to another one thru walkie talkie, and she said she had to get the aisles ready for the toy reset next week!
Keep your hopes! Sometimes they just are too tired of us asking all the time or staling them! Lol!
Not everything in my stores dropped to 70% but last week all monster high dolls from scarriest reef line went to $5.98 (70%) each, only at one target, i grabbed them and bought for a couple of friends daughters too, and today a bunch of ever after high, more monster high, and littlest pet shop went down to 70%; so it looks like theyve been doing it in waves…
But i have my hopes for next thursday, eventho im not sure if ill end up going, since i did already scored what i wanted the most which was the monster high dolls πŸ˜‰

  4. Krystal

I picked up a barbie dream house for $40 in February. Yesterday I went to Fred Meyer and got 4 monster high mega blocks sets, 4 vtech flipies, a couple go go people, medium matchbox trucks and about a dozen stocking stuffers for $70 with additional 60% off clearance! Between that and the Disney infinity deals I’ve gotten I will have all 3 of my girls and my nephew spoiled rotten for Christmas for less then $200!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Wow! You have done an amazing job scoring the deals Krystal! Thanks for sharing your finds!

  5. Karina

I was at Walmart yesterday and was able to score nice Lego creator, Lego Star Wars and Lego Disney sets for 60-70% off regular price. I’m done Christmas shopping now. And I did the happy dance when I got home because of the nice deals scored. My Walmart is in Terre Haute, IN

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So glad to hear that Karina!

  6. AP

Earlier today I got 3 of the purple vtech kidizoom action cam for $9 at Walmart. I also got a doctor costume and a vet costume for $5 each. Adding those to their costume bins for playtime.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great finds!

  7. nat

  8. Maggie

Anyone see you deals at kmart? These look great!

    • Barbara

I went to Kmart yesterday hoping to find some good clearance and was bummed. If it was on clearance it was still high priced. Maybe you will have better luck! Amazing deals at Target though!πŸ˜ƒ

  9. Caroline

Our target had the Meccano build your own robot and Hex Nano race tracks/bugs 70% off! πŸ’ƒπŸ»πŸŽ‰ I’m so jealous of the Star Wars Lego set 50% off!

  10. Jessica P.

I was excited to pick up a LeapTv for my youngest for Christmas for only $17.98 (regularly 59.99!) and 3 games $5.98 each (regularly 19.99). $36 for what would have cost me $120 is great..and to think I’d only stopped in to let my oldest get a Starbucks frappuccino:)

  11. Traci

I got a miles from tomorrowland spaceship for 50% off at Walmart- $25 plus a couple of the extra character figures for $3.50 each. Only Christmas present I can really do early- maybe I’m stingier than other santas but we only do one Santa and one parent present so I can’t plan too far ahead of whims.

    • katie

We only do one from each, too. Glad to hear I’m not the only one!

      • Angie

We do this too. 1 gift from my husband and I and a stocking filled with all those freebies like candies, drinks, etc.
Christmas is about Christ not clutter πŸ˜€

        • c burgess

I totally agree with you Angie. Jesus is the reason for the season.

    • Judy

Same in our house! I think I must already have enough saved to cover 5 years of holidays/birthdays πŸ˜‰

  12. Corinne Char

I can’t wait for them to finishing clearancing them and then bring whatever doesn’t sell to goodwill! I love finding all the target stuff there!

    • Erin

What’s funny is that Goodwill sells things for more than Target! I bought a bunch of really good water guns for party favors at Target for .33 apiece and I saw the same ones at Goodwill–with Target clearance tags–that were selling for a dollar or two! I couldn’t believe it.

  13. MRB

My Target must have a lot of deal-speakers because the clearance shelves were cleared-but! I did buy two hex bug sets and nano hex bugs-50% off which was on my Christmas list. Haven’t checked my Walmart yet but now I will! Thanks for the inspiration!

    • Erin

Yeah, same here. I’ve been migrating to other stores and finding some good deals. Try to focus on stores that don’t tend to appear on deal-seeking blogs. People go for low-hanging fruit!

  14. Nicole Schramm

Collin, I know you have a price point on the Lego blocks. Can you refresh my memory? Was it .10 a block or lower?

  15. carol

Bought a couple of b. Toys for 60% off and a macala for $3 and power ragers for $5 keep your eyes peel. There were some fur real monkeys for 11.98

    • Gretch

      Which b toys are they?

  16. AR

Just bought My Life doll for $13 and Sheriff Callie dress for $7 with a matching cowgirl hat for only $1. My children were so happy!

  17. Liz

Got a Lego duplo set for 25!

    • Gretch

      How much is it off?

  18. Cristen

Thanks for the tip-off! Low income family here. I found some amazing deals at mine. A 3 pack of full-sized My Little Pony characters for $5.38, Disney Rapunzel doll with multiple dresses and accessories for $5.98, and 2 ImagAcademy activity sets for $5.08 each.

  19. Erin C.

I went to Target last night and bought $320 worth of toys for $111 ! Christmas is almost done!

  20. Lilly

Thanks Colin. I paid $250 OOP but I have enough toys for all my nieces and nephews, etc. for Christmas ( which is over 15 kids easy). πŸ™‚

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome to hear that Lilly! You are so welcome!

  21. dsurvis

Thanks! we found a few great deals on Star Wars stuff for our son at Walmart!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re welcome! Glad to hear you snagged some great savings!

  22. Katie

Thank you! Just got back from Target. Picked up Sheriff Callie dress for $5 and 2 Girls Scouts easy bake ovens – $12 @.

  23. Jen

Thank you, thank you, thank you! That is all I have to say for this post and for all the helpful comments. I went to both Walmart and Target today and I am done Christmas shopping for both my boys and only spent $130! Target had LeapPad2’s for 29.99, which was the big gift I wanted to get my 3yr this year. They also had several of the Fisher Price spinneyo giant yo-ller coasters sets for $10! And Disney Kiddesign rocket set for $11. I also got the Vtech kid camera everyone else mentioned at WalMart for $9, A Jumpolene I have been eyeing for awhile for $20, Hot wheels starter track sets for $9, and a fireman dress up outfit for $7, Mickey Mouse clubhouse Hi Ho Cherry-o game for $7. It took awhile to check prices but was so worth it! Found some big Tonka trucks on clearance too! Great Christmas for reasonable prices.
