I wonder what would be in them for the aftertaste? Madhava is one of the brands I buy for my agave. To be honest though, I may not buy agave anymore because I didn’t realize it was really processed. (Until I read about it recently) It has a low GI which won’t spike your insulin level, but I don’t want lots of processed stuff. 🙁
The ingredients are fairly simple in the lemonade: lemon flavor, agave, lemon juice powder, citric acid, Stevie and turmeric. I just cannot handle the taste of other sugars.
Must be the Stevia. Odd that they would add that. Why not just the agave for the sweetener? It’s kind of like honey, but definitely not honey. (not a honey fan) 🙂

I was disappointed in the aftertaste as well. It felt like a thick coating in my mouth and the taste wouldn’t go away until I ate something, but even then it still lingered a bit. I tried 3 different flavors – Peachy Green Tea, Luscious Lemonade and Iced Tea Lemonade. Good thing they were free!! (On sale + stacked CW + MQ + TQ + Ibotta)
forgot to say, I purchased these back in May & June. the ibotta offer kept resetting!
