Anyone else notice a lot less participating museums? I’ve used this every year to take my son to a pricey museum and we look forward to it, but it’s not on the list and neither are about 20 other local options that were there last year. I’m not complaining, just wondering if it’s something local to Indiana or if a lot of museums pulled out?

Most of the ones in my area are not catered so much for young kids. I found there used to me more variety, but there is only one this year (same one as last year) that would be interesting for my three year old. In past years there were more offered towards kids, but we were never ever near 20 options as you mention and I am in a major city (Minneapolis). One year, we want to a really cool farm and my son loved it, but that was three years ago now. We will be going to the same one as last year this time, not complaining as it was fun, but would be fun to try something new too.

O yeah- there are only 4 museums participating in my state- I remember last year there were about 10!

hello , does anyone know about kid under 4/5 ? can he in ? or does he need ticket?
    thanks

Sign up for a ticket and then see what it says on it. The one I did admitted 2 people and my son is three an no longer free at the museum we are going to so I did an additional ticket for my husband in his name.

hi Erin, it says “Ticket per household and per valid email address.”
So, my son or my husband will pay for the ticket , right? (even he still really young.) I plan to take him to visit museum with my hubby.
But I still need to talk with my hubby. there are 3 museum near by.
        Thanks for helping.

        • Erin

I suppose if they are really picky, then yes, they could charge you for a 3rd person but I didn’t see anything about one ticket per household, only that one ticket provides admission for two people (you and a guest). My experience is that they want people in to try out the museum in hopes you purchase a membership or visit more often. You could always walk in separate with two different tickets.
