Excellent advice. Same here. I went to a store that supposedly had an inventory of 24 (in NE OH) and they were out. Called another that the website noted had 22 and was told they sold out too. Just scored 12 at the San Luis Obispo location. They had so many I couldn’t even count they still had a bunch in the huge boxes they get shipped to the store in! 3.69 a week ago at my store. I was holding out in order to find my coupons. Went back today, all gone. I did find 24pk writing essentials for a $1 a pack on clearance, as well as 48ct. Pencils for $1.

I want thank everyone for there comments and explanations on coupons for it has helped me tremendously to save money on things we always need. I just got back from staples here in Pittsburgh Pa and got eight packs of cottonelle. I did not find these on the shelf but saw cases on top of the shelves. Kaylyn who works there climbed a ladder for me and verified that they were the ones on sale. I am so grateful to her for getting these down for me they were very high up..
I had the same situation here in Illinois. The employee was awesome and climbed up the ladder to get them down for me.

I personally never call because I feel like once the store knows the price the employees will buy it or they don’t bother checking and just say they don’t have any. Before heading to the store last night online inventory showed that the store only had 6 in stock, but when I got there they had at least 13

Full stock over here in central Florida. Both stores had more in stock at store than what was showing online. Was able to grab 35 packs and had no issues at either of the stores I went to.

I just got 4 pkg at a Staples in Apopka FL. They had about 30 pkg..The sign says $3.99 but ring up for $3 each. Only one disappointment was I couldn’t use the coupons. The cashier told me that Staples won’t accept manufacture’s coupons.

I grabbed 12. Manager said he could only accept ONE coupon cause it says (one coupon per purchase) Apparently he thinks 1 TRANSACTION is the same as purchase. He refused to do separate TRANSACTIONS. What a turd!!!

Just a note, these aren’t very big rolls. They are only one ply, and each pack is only 165sqft. I got four packs, but I got home and realized they aren’t double rolls.
I agree Elaine, these are not big, this is the regular price for this toilet paper all the time. Not a deal, but happy for those who need it I suppose.

Got 10 at New Hyde Park, LI but they were rude about it. Also went to another location and the manager price checked it for $8.95 and he lied. I saw it scan for $3. Lying piece of work. I think it’s great to find such awesome deals, but I am reading in the comments, “I grabbed 6”, “Got 10” or “I grabbed 12”, etc. Don’t forget that there are other couponers out there and try be considerate. While it’s a great find, some people really need these items and get to the store to find the shelves wiped out.

Read the comments and see some got the same statements about purchase and transaction meaning the same. This along with you cant use “copied” coupons, only ones cut from coupon sheet in newspaper. I asked for a manager, and it got worse. She topped it all off by saying i couldn’t use ANY coupons because it was already marked down and you can’t use coupons on items that are already a deal……geez. Ended up going to another store and buying without issue, but i shouldn’t have had to.
