Good price but note the are daylight bulbs so they are much more white. These are 5000 K. Normal incandescent are 2700 K.

We bought these last time and love them! Good for those dark spots in your house. Also, they were the same price in store, so we picked up more. Not sure if it is in-store this time also, but I was surprised to see the same deal when we got there to pick up our order. Thanks for the great deals!

Can someone school me on light bulb basics now? I need to replace like 30 bulbs in a new home we just moved into but i see that CFL seems to not be around as much and LED send to be the new thing now but they are so expensive. My costco only has LED now. What is a good price point and why the switch? Thanks!

LEDs are way cheaper to operate and better for the environment. CFLs (pigtails) are unsafe to dispose of and you’re not supposed to just throw those in the trash. If they break its not good to be around the substance inside. Also, the CFLs make it look like a UFO is landing inside your house (personal opinion). 🙂 I really don’t know why anyone wants their home to feel like a hospital. I held out forever against the pigtails but LEDs are great! They don’t get hot and they last forever. I actually had an old LED that did last 8 years. I threw the lamp out before the bulb. They come in soft white so they are similar to incandescents. I buy from ikea generally. You will spend $4 a bulb but it’s the initial investment. They have some new bulbs that are “smart” meaning they will work with an app on your phone so you can change the color temperature depending on what time of day or activity. So cool. I’m pretty passionate about lighting haha

Hey, we just moved to new home we did replace our lights to led. Led is expansive compare to regular but it saves lot in your bill and it also suppose to last long time. This good price if you count per bulb. We looked everywhere before buying as we needed daylight bulb they are price higher then other type of led. We bought ours from walmart.com for 5.47 for 2 pack and employee discount. It comes about the same price as this deal. This one is lesser by few cents.

BTW, mine said it would last 18 yrs. 🙂

The 4-pack of Philips soft white LED bulbs (which put off a light similar to incandescent bulbs and which I prefer) is actually even cheaper at $7.97 for four bulbs. Less that $2 per bulb!!!

Thanks for the heads up Rachel!

We had a bulb that burnt out in two years and the bulb was supposed to last 10 years. We contacted the manufacturer and they sent us a replacement bulb.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Sorry to hear it did not last as long as it stated! But super glad they could send you a replacement! Thanks for sharing your experience!
