I clipped two coupons to my balance rewards card and they didn’t show up on my recipt. I even told the cashier that I had clipped two coupons to my card, and mentioned that I had never done it before so I wanted to make sure they came off. She claimed they did but there is no evidence on the recipt. I won’t be doing that again.
Be sure you watch the register. I bought some eye makeup remover pads that had a bonus travel size with it and they did not ring up 50% off nor give points. They did adjust it all for me.
This happened to me last week with the pantene deal. They said the coupons aren’t valid on items with a trial size product attached, so I had to swap.
Aah now I understood what happened at target when I bought 4 St Ives scrub and the cartwheel didn’t come off!!because of the little bonuses
Dora – if you’re talking about the 25% CW deal from last weekend, there was a Target/CW issue which caused the CW to not work on stuff it should have worked on. I had mine adjusted at customer service.
I’ve also NEVER heard anyone say you couldn’t use a coupon on a full-size item that has a free sample attached. That makes no sense whatsoever.
When they have the bonuses attached they often have a different UPC on the plastic used to hold the bonus on, to differentiate between a normal product. Maybe those numbers weren’t programmed into the cartwheel database.
I bought the Almay wipes (they are $6.49 here) and I did get the 3,000 points. Great price!
I bought the Almay wipes as well, price $5.99 BOGO 50% off ,then coupon, then 3000 pts. They were like $1 for 2. Sweet deal.
I bought 2 of the eye make-up liquid remover (same as pictured) and it was $3.99 BOGO 50% off at my Walgreens today! It was marked 5.99 so I was surprised to see it ring up for less. So it was $5.98 for both + $5 off + 3000 points.
When I print the coupons they say “Walgreens” so how do I use any at Target?
