I haven’t had any issues with mine. My kids used the pump up and then deflate feature A LOT on our last road trip so if it was going to break, it would have… Perhaps you just got a defective one? I would definitely recommend the pillow.
I bought the Purefly Velvet pillow but mine works fine. It’s very soft and easy to inflate.
