Ok,Collin, spill the beans…are you getting paid to push Target? I rarely see Walmart deals on here anymore and your feed is flooded with Target stuff. Please mix it up a bit! Thank you!!

    • Ask

      Lol

    • K

Target is just amazing! They make coupons so fun with target coupons & cartwheel! So easy to save!

    • t

Well if Wal-Mart ever had a deal where you got a $10 gift card with $50 grocery purchase you know she would post it. But as Wal-Mart would never do that she can’t. You go where the deals are.

    • Heather C

Walmart price matches to Target on sale ads anyways, so how does that make it any different than sharing Target deals? I’ll tell ya’- you can’t quadruple dip, that’s how. At Walmart, you can use an MFQ, but you don’t have store coupons, buy so many items & get a $5 or $10 gift card, OR use Cartwheel (electronic coupons,) along with it…that’s how….so if you really prefer Walmart, please take your ad, your MFQ’s (but none of the other opportunities) and head over to Walmart. For the record, NO, Collin doesn’t get paid for a Target “push.”

    • Cassandra

Because target rules and Walmart drools 😂

      • Anna

        👍🏻

Hey there – thanks for the feedback. We definitely try to mix it up here on Hip2Save and post various store deals as well as online deals. However, on Sundays you will see LOTS & LOTS of Target deals (more than usual) because Sunday is the day Target releases all of the new Cartwheels and Sunday is also the day many new sales start. I know many of you are big fans of Target shopping, so we want to make sure to post all of the good Target deals that we see.

If you’re not a Target shopper, you can view the site in grid-view which will make it super easy for you to scroll past the deals that you find boring or that you have no interest in checking out. Keep in mind that often we are posting more than 40 deals a day… so based on that many posts, there is definitely an assortment of deals for you all to browse through. 😊

      • Heather C

You are always so classy while being real on your blog, Collin! I don’t know any other couponing site that posts as many deals as you do. I’ve abandoned them all! Ya’all even post on almost ALL holidays!? YOU & THE H2S CREW ROCK IT!!🏆

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the sweet comment Heather! I sure do appreciate it! 😉

      • MAC

Don’t remember if you always had the grid view but this function makes this the easiest deal site to come to and is a great time saver. Keep up the good work! Recently signed up for the email newsletter and that is another excellent time saver.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awww… thanks!! So happy to hear that. I really appreciate the comment.

    • Ryan

Walmart sucks anyway! Don’t listen to that nonsense. Collin you keep doing what you are doing, Rock on my friend!

  2. Stella

I wish Collin WOULD get paid by Target!! It’s REALLY none of our business. She works hard and saves us all a lot of money. Thank you Collin, I LOVE Hip2save!

  3. V

Thanks Collin and team, I love seeing all of the Target deals!!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome! 😃

  4. Denise

There are Seattle’s Best coupons on coupons.com, if you choose to purchase in store.

  5. kim

    u the best, Collin. REALLY!!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awww… thanks, Kim!

  6. PennyS

Walmart is the LEAST friendly couponing store. They make you feel like a criminal when a coupon beeps. My time and money is better spent at Target.

    • Sarah

My grandma had a vitamin coupon from the doctor that she gets yearly it’s a manufacturers coupon for a high dollar bottle of whatever the doctor recommends for her and they(Walmart) repeatly told my 80 year old grandma it was fake and were very very rude and hostile about the situation

    • Denise G.

Yep and not to mention the ones by me are dirty, in bad areas traffic wise and/or their parking is terrible. Now I have discovered Walmart Neighborhood Market and I like those for some groceries. But Target is still my go to for all around deals..

Targets here are convenient, clean and well stocked.

      • ColoradoMama

I don’t know where you live, but in Colorado, our Walmart is busy, and looks like a mountain lodge. Really nice outside and in. The Target is empty. No one goes there, the produce is scarce and overpriced (as are many of their “deals”). Every part of the country is different and not everyone wants to give their money to Target! I will not and do not shop there. And the extensive Target deals are not just posted on Sunday (or I would not have commented about it.) Every day Target is a main focus and the rest of these bargains can be found on Slickdeals. I miss the old Hip2Save that had variety and when you visted different big box stores to find sales and scenarios! (Have been a follower for many years.) Thanks for listening!

        • jan

I look at hip2save a few times a day and there is Walmart deals posted daily as well I have gotten some really great deals at many different stores thanks to Collin and team!!! Walmart has been posted twice today already

  7. Diana

@Colorodomama…stop being such a bitter betty. I’ve been couponing/deal searching for 7yrs and I have to say lately TARGET is THE place to be! so if you don’t like it, go to Walmart where you’ll probably fit in better. #targetROCKS

  8. Diana

….Hip2save rocks too!!! thank you for all you do 😊

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Diana! 😉

  9. Patty

Thanks for what you do Collin!! I ❤️Target

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad to hear it Patty! YW!

  10. BargainBetty

Actually, Walmart is having a ROCKIN clearance on toys right now….not a word on this blog about it, though? Just bought a Superman/Batman video game console for $$5 (normally $35), Barbie Fashonistas for $5, Lego sets HALF OFF, and many more deals to be had. But since this blog rarely showcases Walmart, you all are missing out! Check your clearance aisles at Walmart and quit hating! lol Happy bargaining.

    • Denise G.

I’m on the app at least a dozen times a day and yes I believe there has been at least one post about the Walmart toy clearance.

      • ColoradoMama

Yes, 2 weeks ago they talked about Walmart’s toy clearance. As I said, Target spotlighted daily on here. I am sure I am not the only person noticing! And Collin never answered if she was being paid to promote Target… so, draw your own conclusions? Target’s stock is way down and makes one wonder.

    • Jessica R

There already has been a post about Walmart toy clearance.. Maybe you should do your research before you comment and make yourself look silly 😂

      • ColoradoMama

The toy clearance is still going on..with everything marked 75% off. Girls Scout dolls $3, Brats doll sets for $5, TMNT and Frozen karaoke microphones $5, bedding sets (for college kids)Mainstay Jersey $10 bed in a bag, Little Tikes, Step 2 baby swings, radio Flyer Wagons etc all marked to 1/3 of the cost. And Sam’s Club has their Leisure Time Warehouse big wooden swing set for $399 (normally $1,400!). Awesome deals and worth another mention, imo!

I did the Tyson Chicken deal since they add to the gift card pay out. I bought the All Natural Trimmed and ready chicken breast 7.99 ea x2=15.98. Also there are many others bags of chicken that are 6.00 ea so I bought 6 bags of them (various types) one has to mix it up 6.00 x 6=36.00 + 15.98=51.98 and you get back 10.00 gc for spending 50.00 and 4/5.00 gf for buying the ^ 8 bags total of chicken. I had 20.00 in gift cards so I spent 31.98 and got back 30.00 in gf cards. I’m a happy girl

  12. beth

I’m not really a fan of Target either, but as someone else has mentioned, this is the BEST blog out there and I have also dropped all the others. This site has saved me crazy amount of money the last past few years. Keep up the good work!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks, Beth! SO happy to hear that!

  13. Tara

I totally forgot to use my 10.00 off my 50.00 grocery purchase today!!! 🙁 ugh!!! does anyone know if I take my receipt into Target if they will give me the gift card!!??

  14. Michelle

First of all, Collin, I think it’s amazing what you’ve accomplished and continue to do everyday. I speak for myself and many others, how much money you’ve helped us save and have fun doing it. You always brighten my day. I’ve held my tongue when some people on here have been negative or complaining, because a comment on a blog doesn’t usually get through to people like that. So here’s my two cents. This is YOUR business, site, blog, etc. You can choose to post or not post anything – it’s none of anyone’s business. It is honestly hard for me to wrap my head around people complaining about what you do or don’t do. If they want to put in all the work in order to help people save money at (fill in the blank), then they should do that and keep negative comments to themselves. I appreciate all you’ve done for me, my family and community (I’m able to donate a lot). Your attitude, kind heart and willingness to help are not unnoticed! Thank you again.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thank you. I sure appreciate you taking the time to leave this comment. It means more to me than you know… and totally brightened my night.

    • Jessica R

I agree with this! With my mother being out of work for over a month due to surgery money has been very tight.. She said to me the other day “Even though we have less, I feel like we have more..” This is due to YOU and all the money you have saved me.. I’m able to get so
Much stuff for so little money. I’m so thankful for stumbling upon this blog because it has truly made a difference to myself and my family.. THANK YOU!
