Kroger Deal Idea – Stock up on Tide:
Tide Simply Clean & Fresh 40oz $2.99 each
Buy 4 bottles
Total after $4 off = $7.96
Use four $1/1 Tide Simply Clean and Fresh Detergent coupons found here – you will need access to 2 computers
Final Cost $3.96 total – $0.99 each!
My Kroger’s will only let you use 2 like internet coupons not 4
You can mix and match items with the mega though. So you could buy just 2 Tides with 2 other items that are on mega event also.
My Kroger will only let you use two printables for the entire day. Kroger is not coupon friendly any longer in my opinion.
I have no problem using coupons when I go to Kroger, I guess it just depends on where you’re located. I did this the other day, I love this deal!
I also agree that it depends by location. I used to live in the city and they were def not coupon friendly and some stores even had a 3 coupon printed limit. Now that I live in a more rural area, they are very friendly and I hardly ever have problems with cashiers accepting my coupons.
No problems with coupons at my Kroger. No Tide either – the shelf was bare.
Always get a rain check for items out of stock plus Kroger doesn’t have expiration for rain checks.
My kroger’s rainchecks have a 30 expiration date.
Yep, mine have a 30 day expiration as well!
Kroger DOES have an expiration date – you have a 30 day window – should be on the rain check when you get it.
One Kroger near me has a 30 day window to use the rain check. Another kroger near me told me there’s no expiration date with the rain checks. So they are definitely not on the same page.
Anyone know if it’s the same price at Ralphs?
i went to Ralphs on Sunday and the price was $2.99 so for me not a good deal 🙁
How does this version of tide compare to the original tide? Does it clean as well?
I think it does great! My husband actually likes his scent better
I agree I like the scent too, I use this and regular tide can’t tell much of a difference.
To answer this question, I just did a test of this Simply (yellow) Tide today. I wanted to stock up if it was as good as the orange bottle of Tide is. I washed a HUGE load of very dirty clothes and used the same amount of detergent as I do for the normal Tide and it is almost identical! It smells awesome, check…and it seemed to have plenty bubbles, check AND it got my clothes CLEAN! I even had some grass stains on my socks and they are gone! In my opinion (especially now) Tide is the best laundry soap you can buy, hands down. It may cost a little more but you have to use so little of it compared to the cheap ones. I used 3 full caps of Ajax liquid and it was terrible compared to 1/2 a capful of original Tide. Buy it!
Kroger in Houston they don’t limit coupons , they only limit the product if they don’t have a lot , but the one close by me take 12 alike coupons . There is 2 of them that don’t have limit on coupons or product they order plenty !!!
Identical coupon limits are also dictated by the manufacturer. Some limit to one, 2, four, etc. Per transaction, household, product, etc. Just read your coupons, point it out to the clerk ans see if he/she will budge. Also need to know the store policies. I make it a point to check on the policies from time to time to – ESPECIALLY when I have been turned down – then I print it out and let them know where they can find it on THEIR website! I’ve had a couple of up to $5 off of Quaker “products” the girl wouldn’t let me do a combo of products with it – said – hey, this is free anyway – I had room left to place the remainder of the coupon onto another quaker product – she wouldn’t budge – the store itself WILL honor it the way I tried to explain to her – because it shows NO limit of one product up to – it’s limit was up to $5 on Quaker “Products” – I just don’t use her checkout anymore!
Well, my store in IL dictates their own rules. I showed them the Company wide policy right off of their own website, but it actually says that each manager can decide their policy! Why bother posting the policy if this is the real policy? But for that $5 Quaker one, you could just use the OVERAGE from the 1st product on the 2nd one because technically the “non-internet printed” manufacture coupons shall be redeemed for FACE VALUE. I have argued that point with the paper policy right in my hand and they still cannot grasp that rule. It even says that if they owe you more than $5, it must be put on a Kroger gift card. Each store in my area has their own good and bad policies and it takes time to figure out who will redeem what, but if you are willing to play the game, you can save tons of money. My good friend and I team up and we can do some damage in this town! :>)
Is this same deal with Fred meyers? They are part of the Kroger family
Every time I go to our Kroger for coupon deals, our shelves are wiped bare… then they start popping up on sale sites and garage sales. I just wanted one or two bottles! 🙁
You must be in the Los Angeles area too. So irritating. I always hear them bragging about it too as they wipe the shelves clean.
I am in store management with Kroger. Rain checks have no expiration date. This is a new policy adapted earlier this year. If rain checks say expire in 30 days, they are the old version and they r just trying to get rid of the supply on hand
In SoCal I was only able to use 2 coupons per transaction…..:(
I have no problems ether… 5 Q’s per upc!
I just got 15 bottles in Friday… 3 different sense 5 coupons for each kind
Soooooo…why are you on a couponing site if you hate them so much? Get a grip…
is kroger the same as smith?
The simply tide coupons are not available to print. Where can I find these on line to print two more for Food 4 Less Friday sale tomorrow? I’ve looked everywhere, including the links, and none of them are aavailable. No, I haven’t printed any on this computer or my other
