We keep a good stock in my babies nursery everytime this coupon comes around! Im not sure the last time we paid near full price for diapers! Thank you sooooo much Collin!!!
Happy to hear that Stephanie! You’re welcome!
Hi – I’m expecting my first baby early next year and was wondering what is a good price per diaper? This would help me decide in the future what’s a good deal or not. Thank you!!!
Aww, how exciting Allie! Congratulations! Here are two posts that you may find helpful 😉 https://hip2save.com/2016/08/01/what-are-your-price-points-for-baby-items-please-share/ And https://hip2save.com/2015/03/04/what-are-your-grocery-price-points-plus-newly-updated-hip2save-printable-spreadsheets/
IMHO, 15% is good, but I’d wait for Amazon to offer up 35%…that combined with the 20% subscribe & save makes for a really great price. Amazon ran that price about a month ago and also on Prime Day.
I don’t pay more than 10 cents per Huggies or Pampers diaper. I have gotten up to size 5 at that price point.
I usually pay between 5-10 cents for sizes 1,2,3. Cvs has great sales periodically. Huggies wipes are the best. After 5 kids I think I’d know. Other brands are great for sticky faces and hands. ANY type of diaper is good for day time. Use pampers, huggies, or luvs during night. Luvs are nice if you like a scent. I hope this helps congratulations.
I agree the 30-35% off Huggies on top of 20% Amazon is the best deal, but you can always subscribe with this 15% off and cancel if something better comes along before your S&S order ships.
I found this blog entry to be extremely useful for stockpiling diapers and it is what I use for my per unit stockpile prices: https://www.southernsavers.com/stocking-up-on-diapers-how-much-to-buy-at-what-price/
Here are the prices they suggest:
Newborn: 13¢ – 16¢
Size 1: 11¢ – 14¢
Size 2: 14¢ – 16¢
Size 3: 16¢ – 19¢
Size 4: 19¢ – 22¢
Size 5: 22¢ – 26¢
Size 6: 26¢ – 30¢
Of course there are lots of opportunities to find deals for much cheaper, so I usually aim for the first number or lower if I’m stockpiling way in advance.
By the way, I’m loving all these diaper deals lately as I found out not long ago that baby #2 is due in the spring! With my 1st daughter, I bought diapers all during the pregnancy at stockpile prices and I had enough diapers for her first year by the time she was born! It was so awesome to not have to worry about diapers! Ever! 🙂
Hoping for a higher percent around black friday, due with baby #4 in March. That being said, this is a good deal if you need diapers right now though.
Awesome! Just found out we’re expecting not one but two 4/1! I do have a question/comment. The breakdown for size one shows a 276 count but I believe it’s supposed to be 216? Thank you! Keep the baby deals coming!
Sorry that’s for the snug and dry!!
I never pay more than .06 for sizes newborn through 2 and no more than .10 for the other sizes. You just have to keep watching the sales and do the math. I stockpile way ahead of time when there is a great deal!
Price went up!
Hi Kim! Are you an Amazon Family Member?
It’s showing me a price of $36.79 for the size 1 276 count. What am I doing wrong?
How strange! I am still seeing the $29.89 price after clipping the 15% off coupon and opting for Subscribe & Save. Are you an Amazon Family member?
