Sweet! I needed new socks. Now I don’t need to buy any for years! (I got 6 sets so I could get free prime shipping lol).

Bethany… If you u spend the minimum, then u dont have to buy a different item for add ons? Thanks for the help

Shame this is an add-on. Great deal, but I’m certainly not gonna buy 7 packs of socks just to get free shipping on them. Wish they had some kind of “Add-on hold” type thing for prime members….. where we can put a hold on the price of any add on item we’re interested in for a few days while we find other things we want to purchase that we need to get up to the 25$ order total…. but I suppose that wouldn’t benefit them much as you would get less people impulse-buying things they don’t even need just to get to the minimum order total.
Anyways, this would be great for those who already have items they need in their cart or to give as xmas gifts.

That and it’s not fair to other people OR to the seller to put an item on hold when there are other people willing to purchase now while you make up your mind——and in all likelihood cancel, causing lost sales.

What? Really? I like the hold idea. Lets talk about unfair. I have so many problems with amazon. I just ordered a bath light they sent used ones out with missing parts then by the time they figured out what they were doing the item was out of stock! I also have some granola bars that are being auto shipped and I NEVER ordered them. I get 6 boxes every month after they charge my credit card 17.99! I have to call and say ” I’m making my monthly call to get my refund” its been 8 months! They tell me they are putting in a ticket for the help desk. And i’m prommised that this will be taken care of and will never happen again. What? I’m swimming in granola bars no one likes. Every time I order liquid and something not liquid they are shipped together and it leaks all over! Every stinking time. I once got a box of chips where they put a gallon of carpet cleaner on top. Lets just say they did not have to clean thd mess, I did. I could go on but people have other things to do today then read my rants on how amazon is not the best. I know some might ask gee if so many problems why does she use them? Well I paid for the prime membership and I am trying to get my moneys worth. Which I don’t think will ever happen. The hold idea is wonderful.

Check your Amazon subscriptions page. Is it possible the granola bars are a Subscribe-and-save Item that you could cancel or delete? I’ve had some subscribe-and-save items (like baby diapers!) that I needed for awhile, then forgot to change the size or something, and I know how frustrating that can be to pay for something you can no longer use.
We use Amazon almost daily, and it has been a lifesaver! Customer service has been great! Whenever an item has been broken or missing pieces or even used items that were misrepresented, they have been very helpful with returns or refunds. However, if we change our mind on an item, it seems quite challenging to return it.
I’m sorry for all your trouble! Hope you’re able to put an end to those granola bars!

    • Amy

I just add them to my cart. If I hit the minimum before the sale price ends then score for me! If the price goes up, if wasn’t meant to be. Lol

For a heads up next time, when you need/want to purchase an add-on item, all you need to do is find a preorder movie or game that would put your total cart to 25.00 or above. Since you are not billed for that movie/game until it ships, you’re only being charged for the add-on item. After you complete the transaction,go back into your order summary and cancel the preorder. Now you get the add-on you wanted for nothing more than the add-on price! Brilliant, right??!! Note:this is only for Prime members I believe……
