Hello. A quick question to couponers at Target stores. Is anyone having issues with using an identical coupon more than once? Like the Perdue here, I was turned away because I couldn’t use 2 coupons, can only use 1. And they said it on other items too, like Tyson strips deal. I’ve been couponing for 3 years and have always used up to 4 identical coupons on items and have never had an issue. The store said its Targets new coupon policy. Any feedback would be great. Thank you.

I am not aware of any changes to the policy and if there was, I’m sure Collin & team would have posted. The last update was back in June or July I believe.
Ok, so I just pulled up the policy on Targets website and it still states ‘ Limit of 4 identical coupons per household, per day (unless otherwise noted on coupon).’ Maybe print the policy out and if you have trouble, show the cashier? Sometimes they get confused, all coupons say “per purchase” and think it means you can only use 1 coupon, even if you have 4 items.

Thanks. Yeah I was just really frustrated tonight at Target because the cashier scanned all my coupons and they all went through on the register but then he goes and reads them all and tells me I can’t use this one I can’t use that one…and I was just in 1/2 hour earlier buying household items to get gift cards and had used multiple identical coupons on items and the cashier had no issue with and they all went through on the register as well.

I have had this problem at my Target too. It started a couple months ago. Very frustrating.

I went to Target today and the system didn’t accept combining my cartwheel offer and a manufacturer coupon on 2 of my items. I called the 800 number for Target and was informed the system was updated and this isn’t being allowed any longer….
