Hey any idea how to have them sell items for me? I make signs out of reclaimed wood.

You have to apply and be accepted. Then you do the shipping yourself.

I am a successful etsy seller, with over 5000 sales. I applied on Amazon handmade, and didn’t make the “cut”. They are picky. I have a friend who is doing well with her hand stamped jewelry and other items like that on Amazon Handmade tho. I sell pallet signs and bottle openers, everything mason jar related, laser etched RTIC cups, but for some reason they wouldn’t accept me. Which is fine with me! Etsy has been amazing, and keeps me more than busy. I’ll stick to selling supply items on regular Amazon FBA.

I sometimes think that Amazon is getting too big for its britches. I don’t want to support another huge monopoly, and that’s what it’s becoming. Etsy has some beautiful things and I hope people keep supporting it. I’ve bought some awesome stuff on Etsy! I love hearing about how creative people come up with ways to earn money for their families by selling things they’ve made. Glad to hear you’ve been so successful iarunnin momma.

Thanks so much! It has been a huge blessing to stay home but I sure do work my tail off!! Thankful for what it has done for our family, and I love sharing my crazy ideas with the world!

I’ve been seeing them advertise this for awhile now. I kinda hope it bombs for them because there’s something really inauthentic feeling about buying handmade items from Amazon. Although I know they’ll do a good job of it with shipping and whatnot. It just feels like Amazon will eventually take over every small business in America.

I feel the same way. I don’t like that they are trying to have their hands in so many different pots.

    Etsy already exists…

If you do decide to partake in the handmade selection, go thru Ebates for 3% back

I like the fact that American made products are being offered through Amazon. It gives small businesses/home businesses a large audience that they wouldn’t have without Amazon. I realize there is an Etsy, but I think Amazon has a way larger audience. I’d rather spend my money on Home-made Amazon that corporations.
