Ooh, I want to try some of these. I also love bark box and bookish box. I have been very happy with both.

    • Erica (Silly Sidekick)

      Awesome to hear, Amanda!

  2. Becky

My 15 year old son LOVES his Loot Crates. We’re a house of nerds so we all appreciate the cool stuff that comes in the monthly boxes, but he does the most. It’s a great gift if you’re bored of getting them the same ol’ things. I second the recommendation!

    • Erica (Silly Sidekick)

Wow! So awesome to hear Becky!

  3. Samanthology1

Anyone have any subscription box suggestions for the manly man who has everything. My dad is literally impossible to buy gifts for and Christmas is always a struggle to think of something.

    • Michelle

Does he fish? My husband liked mystery tackle box… Great website plus you customize it according to the type of fish you are fishing for….HTH

    • Stefanie

There are lots of food of the month subscriptions including beer and bacon, which could be fun for people who have everything already. Consumable gifts are always a nice treat.

      • rob

omg we got a bacon of the month subscription last year that was so darn good! I think the company was Pig of the Month, my husband loved it, I think they also do assorted bbq meats etc, I highly recommend !

    • Nicole

      • Kate

        I have to 2nd Mancrates!!!!
LOVE Mancrates!! Have used them 3 or 4 times. Problem now is that my sister has started to use them, too, so my secret site is out :-/
We have A LOT of manly men in our family to shop for ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • Akmom

Have you heard of bespoke post? Lots of cool man stuff-from manly men to metro man:)

    • Mizz Mo

Check out Mantry – expensive but definitely a dude’s box! If you Google it you may find a coupon for free jerky.

    • Leilani

There is a survival type box called BattlBox, it’s a little pricey but has different items in it.

  4. Lynne

Has anyone tried the KidStir? I’m thinking this would make a good gift for my daughter, she has been very into wanting to help me in the kitchen lately.

    • D

We’re on month 2 of or Kidstir subscription and my kids LOVE it. It helps me be intentional about letting them help me in the kitchen (it’s MY domain) and giving them realistic things to be in charge of! I have a 7, 5 and 4 year old and they all are able to help with parts of it and I expect that within the next couple months my oldest would be able to do most of the recipes without much help from me (Altho I’m a worrywart and am not ready to give up supervision of stovetop and oven). Anyway, we’ve loved it so far and I would recommend! The book they get to add their recipes to each month is cute too. And the tools are fun! Another “version” of this is Raddish and I had seen them at a vendor fair and thought it looked awesome too…Kidstir just worked better for us with 3 kids price-wise bc we would’ve had to do extra add one for the apron patches and tools each month with Raddish! Hope that helps!

      • Lynne

Thanks! My daughter is almost 7…glad to hear its easy for younger ones to figure out as well.

      • Lynne

Do you have a referral code? I’m gonna get this for my daughters Bday coming up.

  5. Barb

Yes I agree Loot Crate is super popular in our house. I also save the random items my teen is not into and either give away to my nerdy friends at Christmas or at her Birthday party put out as party favors for her friends to take home. Everyone always finds something they love.

  6. Heather

The tom box seems a little out there. Who would want to have anyone know they were on their period. That is a private event. I would NEVER want my aunt, mother or friend buying me a box for my period. Call me weird.

  7. Sara

I saw a post where someone recycled a box and put in a bunch a stuff for their daughter. They decorated and put it in the mailbox for her. It was adorable!

    • Becky W

      Great idea!

    • Sara

I do the same for my brother in law. When I make purchases from Birchbox.com I add the free men’s mystery duo and save those throughout the year to make a “beauty box” for my brother in law lol. He loves it. And all the little sculpting gels and hair products I get from couponing.

  8. Jess

My favorite is ipsy and it’s not listed ๐Ÿ™ It’s only $10/month and you get an exclusive makeup bag with each one and the items you get are especially geared toward your profile and preferences. LOVE IT. I did not like birchbox.

    • Jessi RUviews

Same here, I cancelled my birchbox after 3 months. Ipsy is so much better!

  9. Emily S

Ipsy is a lot better than birch box-sometimes you get full sized products and if you review the products online, you earn points for more items and you get a cute little make up bag each time. It is also $10 a month

  10. Jennifer

I like the Walmart Beauty box. It’s 5.00 and you get one for each season.

    • Erica (Silly Sidekick)

      Awesome! ๐Ÿ™‚

  11. chrissy1925

I love Ipsy too. Cancelled my birchbox

    • Erica (Silly Sidekick)

Great to hear you love Ipsy Chrissy!

  12. Anita

I love the Walmart box! I just wish it was every month not seasonal.

  13. Brittany

I will probably do a Toms and Loot for gifts if anyone wants to post a referral code for them.

    • Jess

I would love if you used my sons! He really enjoys his Loot Crate subscription!

  14. Leslie

For anyone else who wears tights often, I just tried out and fell in love with YourTights.com !

  15. Nat

    Sephora play is my favorite.

    • Bethany

Ditto! I love my Sephora Play!

  16. Jessie

Has anyone tried the stitch fix yet??

    • Amanda R

I have been a Stitch Fix subscriber for almost a year now. You take a little survey to personalize your preferences and your stylist takes ideas from it. You can always request a different size if you love a product but doesnt fit. It is fun to try on the clothes but I am finding it a little hard to find pieces that are my style.

Trunk Club is the same as Stitch Fix but there is no actual subscription. You have your one stylist (with Stitch your stylist can change every box) and talk with her on the phone or email. No fees and not required to purchase anything if you don’t like the clothes. You get ten pieces instead of five. Both boxes have beautiful clothes. Both also let you customize based on your budget

      • Mom Of 2

I may try trunk club! Do you have a referral link you’d like me to use if I sign up? How are the prices on the items?

    • mdub

With stitch fix you can choose when to get you “fixes”. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a subscription. If you are interested please feel free to use my ref link. Thank you in advance. https://www.stitchfix.com/referral/4783353

  17. Emily

Sephora play I’m prebuying months to give as gifts

  18. Micah

Wear big name jewelry brands like Kendra Scott. Keep it or send it back at Rocksbox.com. Starts at $19 a month. Free month with code lashloverxoxo ๐Ÿ‘

  19. Kat

Love barkbox for my dogs! It always has great items & worth the money.

  20. Kasi

I love ipsy, boxy charm, pops sugar, loot crate, pet treater and glossybox.

  21. mel

I agree I dumped birchbox and signed up with ipsy and boxycharm and fabfitfun

  22. AshleyBau

Not listed but we use the better letter box. http://Www.thebetterletterbox.com it’s preschool shipped to your door. There’s a code for a sample box for 2.99 shipped. Just go to order your normal box, (there’s different levels) and put in the code. HTH

    • Miamamma

Hi, do you have the code for the 2.99 box? Thanks!!

      • AshleyBau

I’m sorry! The code is SAMPLEBOX

        • susie

I tired using the samplebox code and its reduces 1st box price by 2.99 only. Not 2.99 shipped

          • AshleyBau

I just tried it and it seems to be working now

      • AshleyBau

Also, it looks they have a promo for half off your first box with FBHALFOFF

  23. Erika

I love subscription boxes! It’s so fun to get different items every month to try. One I love that is just starting out is notureselfcare.com. The boxes are filled with products to help busy women make themselves a priority. Things like artisan candles, bath and body products, jewelry, journals, books, etc. The boxes are a monthly reminder to make yourself a priority.

  24. Melissa

I get the Walmart Beauty Box , which is four times a year .I get the Target Beauty Box every month; i think it’s well worth the $7.00.

  25. Katie

Ipsy, birchbox, julep, target, Walmart, serendipity, zbox (nightmare to cancel but nice boxes), lootcrate, stickii, book of the month, mystery boxes by bare minerals & pop sugar. I rotate most of what I subscribe to and beware of cancellation dates that are like a month in advance/bad reviews. Coupons are amazing, I frequently go to ‘ my subscription addiction ‘ and drool over luxe boxes.

  26. tam

It’s not listed but I’m a huge fan of Darby smart diy crafters box. I have loved everyone of them. If you haven’t ordered from them before you can enter a code to get your first box for $9 shipping is free. Cancelling subscription is easy too.

    • S

Tam do you have the code for the first box? My daughter would love this. Thanks for your input!

      • tam

        I used code HOWDYDARBY ๐Ÿ™‚

  27. S. Kistler

Another one not mentioned here that I absolutely LOVE is “How to be a Redhead” it features products tailored for us natural redheads as well as honorary redheads. I’ve gotten makeup, skin care, hair care, nail polish as well as other items perfect for people with a redhead complexion (or work just help accent red hair)

  28. MelanieLynne

For anyone who is interested in global artisans or ethical purchases, GlobeIn is the perfect monthly box! I’ve gotten four so far, and I’m still loving them!! $10 off with this link: https://globein.com/abox?refcode=MELA7C8A

  29. Shellyy

Did anybody else notice they skipped # 9… or am I not seeing it on the app?! Lol Walmart box is my fav. Only $5 wish it was monthly but seasonal is also nice.

    • Bethany

      Yup they skipped 9!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the heads up! Checking this out now!

    • Danielle (Hip2Save Sidekick)

OOPS! I swear I know how to count! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thanks for pointing that out! ๐Ÿ™‚

  30. Michelle

Hey all! We’ve been getting “Love With Food” boxes for quite a while. I love what they do – they donate meals to children with every box sold. It’s been great trying new foods and helping children at the same time. Here’s my referral link if you’d like to use it http://lovewithfood.com/invite?m=r&ref=3Eai If you do, you’ll get 50% off your first box.

    • Mizz Mo

I was just looking to see if someone mentioned this box – thank you for doing that! We have been doing Love With Food for three years now and love it. It makes a great gift for Birthdays/Christmas/Hanukkah and they will be offering holiday specials beginning in November! Oh, and a subscription is a great way to say thank you to your child(ren)’s teacher at the end of the year ๐Ÿ™‚

  31. Morna

I recently started getting Glossybox and I love it. I paid for a six month subscription and used a code that I found. I was supposed to get 2 boxes, one for October and then the box from Mother’s Day. I got 4 boxes and there we so many nice things in there and most of them full size. They are all high-end. It’s $20 a month but so worth it.

  32. Freedom

We do loot anime. And loot tee.
We’ve done others in the past as well.
My son is a huge anime fan and loves the loot anime box. Great quality.

  33. Becky W

I love Julep for their customizable makeup and nail polish subscription box. There is a bit of a learning curve to understand the system, but giving as a gift is pretty straightforward. Feel free to use my link: https://www.julep.com/rewardsref/index/refer/id/377084/

  34. Sara

Get your first NatureBox snacks for $4.95 shipping with my referral link and I will send you a code for a FREE week of 6 organic meals includes free shipping to try GreenChef:

  35. Sara

I loved my Love with Food boxes, they were fun snacks and they usually have a great black Friday deal. Boxycharm is fantastic for your makeup loving friends. It offers 5 full size products for only $21/month. Their boxes usually value over $100!

  36. Heidi N

If someone gave me a box for “that time of the month” it better be filled with chocolate, lol!

  37. Melissa

I love the fabfitfun box, it’s quarterly and it has all full size products. The fall box came with a mod cloth scarf, coffee mug, and so much more. If you sign up now you will get the winter box and use this code and get $15 off your first box

  38. Alese

Our favorite subscription box is Kidbox (referral link: http://refer.kidbox.com/eiCsh) it is a subscription clothing service for kids. My 8yr old set up her style profile & a box of items was shipped. You can try things on and only pay for what you keep. For under $100 she received 5 totally awesome, high quality items. Super excited for our winter box! So much simpler than going out shopping. When we go out we find one thing at one store, drive across town to another store were we again only find one item & it gets stressful!

  39. Deborah Mann

I also recommend Ipsy. Fun box of makeup, full size and trial size. It is personalized with a survey of your preferences. You get a darling themed makeup bag and five items a month. Cost is $10.00 a month. The 2 boxes I have received so far were great. Then they offer ” ispy” offers that are deeply discounted.they also offer items that are direct links to other companies with often 30 to 50 percent off. They give you the links and codes for these offers. http://Www.ipsy.com

  40. Kimya

I am definitely getting the TOM box for my teen daughter I never knew about it!!! Another great one is beautycon box it comes quarterly one for each season and is $29 https://beautycon.com/beautycon-box-2

  41. Emily L

We LOVE Barkbox for our two dogs and can usually find a code online or know a friend for a referral every time we need to renew to pay a little less. It comes with two toys and usually 3 treats. We give them one toy right away and save the other until it’s half way until the next box comes. They even know when it gets here and get so excited!
If you’re looking to try here my referral code to get a free month!

I’m digging this bath box though, I’ll have to try that one!

  42. carynbw

I got gifted with a TRY THE WORLD subscription, which is a monthly box of curated snacks and delicacies from around the world, a different country every month….I love it!
