Every time I go to Walgreens and buy multiples of the exact same item, my coupons won’t apply correctly because the cashier will scan only one item and then enter the quantity. So if I buy 4 items and have two $1/2 coupons, the second coupon doesn’t have anything to attach to and register won’t accept it. If I ask the cashier to try again and scan each item individually, I generally get some hassle and the cashier’s “interpretation” of coupon policy. I’ve been avoiding doing these kind of deals at Walgreens lately because it’s stressful. Anyone else encounter this issue there?
Sorry to hear that , my Walgreens cashiers are very nice and do anything to help you out!(not all of them of course but I do my best to go when my favorite cashiers are there!!)

Hello everyone! I just left Walgreens and bought one quart size bags and theee gallon size ziplock bags and had no problem at all. I didn’t print any coupons but I did clip the Walgreens coupon onto my phone and saved the exact amount.

I purchased 4 quart size and 4 gallon size (2 separate transactions) and both RR’s printed for both transactions. Even if you don’t use any coupons at all, it’s still only 25 cents each!

No I didn’t ask for a manager bc there was a line behind me. I did ask The cashier and she said nothing printed. She looked in the paper ad and said she didn’t know anything about the Catalina machine

I bought all sliders. 3 of the 20 count quart and 1 of 10 count gallon. Oh well. I have gotten plenty of deals that worked. This one didn’t for me. 🙁

It didn’t print any RR for me not even the advertised one so manager gave me $7 in points. I think their RR system wasn’t working.
Yes you can send them a problem report. Go to the Catalina website and fill out a ticket.

It worked for me! There was a guy in front of me returning his because the RR didn’t print or something. The people behind us then questioned if there was some big sale on Ziplocs haha. But I was the lucky one that got the rest of what was on the shelf.
Didnt work for me. I bought 4 ziploc slider storage quart 20ct. No RR. Asked the cashier. She said if it didnt print these nothing she can do. Ill return them.
As mentioned above…the second coupon didnt work. The cashier was lost and opted to manually add a mfr coupon and she took it off.

I was not able to do the deal either. The cashier said that he couldn’t take the coupons. I had him call the manager and she just started making up her own coupon policy. Well I will be calling corporate in the morning.
I had the same problem yesterday. A few of my coupons didn’t scan so the cashier called the manager. That’s when another associate came up to the front and told the cashier that she couldn’t take any of my coupons including the ones that already scanned. I had three upset kids and didn’t have time to argue so I told them that I only wanted my pictures and they could restock everything (over $100 worth).
Only one $4 for me when I bought 4-gallon 15 count bags.
I should add that those were the only ones left in my store, bought them anyway.

Worked an hour ago in SoCal. I bought 1 quart size and 3 gallon size slider bags. Used the two $1/2 digital coupons from the Walgreens app. Worked perfectly.

New to this. Did this deal in So Cal and did not work. Had 1 clipped and 1 paper cpn. Bought 4 gallon storage. Only got 1 cpn to work. Cashier put in qty 4. (Saw other posts here about that. Should have read earlier). Did come up with reason on own and cashier said did not matter but called manager anyway. She voided out whole sale. Rerang it up and scanned them individually and it took both. Line behind and this was at 10pm. Had lots of other items also. Gathered up bags, went home and did not see RR’s. on end of receipt or by themselves. Called store and asked where RR’s were. Did cashier fail to give with all the hassle? Was told they don’t print anymore. Will attach tp account later. 1st I heard that. Only did 1 RR in past and got printout at point of sale.
Is this new thing? Website no help. Called Catalina. Took info. Then just got email. “We are unfamiliar with this offer based on the information provided. It is possible it is not a Catalina offer”.
Really disappointed. Made special trip to get the $4 and $3 RR’s and got none. Will return items.
You’re right, it was messed up. Good news is one of the RR is listed on the tags in the store. The Ziplocs have tags that say “buy 4 SC Johnson products, get $4 RR” so My advice is go back this week with your receipt, show manager you didn’t get what was advertised on the shelf. They can’t “force print” RR so here, the manager would offer to apply 4000 Balance Reward points to your account to compensate. Tip- check Catalina/ RR machine next to cash register before starting transaction, verify it’s on with green light.
Oh and you’re right – Register Rewards print. It’s a separate machine right next to the cash register and the print out looks like a Catalina coupon.
The bonus RR offer ends 10/30.
