Yay! I’ll totally do this, can we all start a list of places that are doing this for voters?

    • rebecca

i early voted, and just stuck my sticker on a piece of paper when i got home so i will have it handy when Nov 8th comes.

New Jersey doesn’t give stickers!! They don’t have Krispy Kreme either roll but I really wanted a sticker! Lol

    • Jennifer

They’re giving doughnuts to anyone who tells them they voted. Hey, White Castle over KK any day.

    Uh oh……..this is illegal.

.they got nailed for this a few years ago, as did Starbuck’s, Chic fila, etc. It is not legal to offer any kinds of incentives, discounts, favors, money, free stuff, etc pertaining to voting when there’s a federal office on the ballot. That means they can’t give away anything, or discounts, etc, for voting, being registered, getting registered, etc.

They CAN give everyone a free thing, etc, on election day as long as it is for everyone, and has no connection to voting.

Hip 2 Save shouldn’t post these offers, IMO, because they are illegal.

    • Jennifer

They are actually giving free doughnuts to anyone who mentions the offer, according to their Facebook page.

    • Holly

Lol. I needed a good laugh!

    • rebecca

If they actually got nailed, why would they be doing it again? to get in trouble again? that doesn’t make any sense. Also, i thought it was only illegal to offer incentives within so many feet of the place where polling takes place or to do any canvassing or giveaways or electioneering outside of a polling center.
