Any idea on the dollar amount for the Cabelas gift cards? Thanks!!!

    • Nicole

My store in SC only had $50 ones.

    • Laura

      $25

    • LaDawn

      Mine had range of $25-$500

    • Lisa

      The cabelas started at 25.

  2. Malinda Sanchez

How many deals can you get at one time?

    • Lisa

      I did 2 at a time – and did 3 separate transactions

    • Princess

I did 2 separate transactions (4 $10.00 BK cards). They had more, but didn’t want to be greedy. I will go to another DG and do 2 more transactions. These will be gifts and stocking stuffers.😀

    • Juanita

I bought 6 gift cards in 1 transaction and it worked.

  3. Happymamma

I did this deal this morning too. Be advised you may have to pay cash for gift cards, but it’s still a really good deal!

    • Lisa

I did this 3 times and paid with a credit card

  4. Shellyy

Is Dollar General the same as Dollar tree

    • Jodi

No, those are two different stores.

    • Laura

      No

    • S

      No

    • Karla Zaar

      No, different store

    • Shellyy

      Thanks everyone.

  5. Lolie

Awesome deal! Hope our store has the $10 ones

  6. Princess

Thank you Collin, even the cashier was shocked and said he has to get some.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome! You’re welcome!

  7. Lisa

Anyone know the taco Bell value?

    • Happymamma

My strore had cards you choose the value starting at $15.

    • LaDawn

Mine too! $15 choose your own value up to $50

  8. Sue

Do they have $10 Taco Bell ones?

  9. Sue

Called and found out Taco Bell cards are between $15-$50; whatever you choose to load on them. One store I sent my hubby to was having issues getting the BK cards to activate. He went through 10 cards to get two to work.

    • Karen

Just did it at my store. My cashier was confused as well but he figured it out. First scan the bar code on the back of the paper the card is attached to THEN swipe the card to activate it. Hope that helps

      • sue

It wasn’t an issue of the cashier being confused. There machine was not working properly so he ended up going through 25 gift cards to get four to activate for me.

    • ashley

My store had the same issue with the cards not activating. I had to give up.

      • carol

Mine too. Went throught the only 8 they had and they would not activate. Had to leave empty handed.

    • Juanita

My store couldn’t get the BK cards to load either. I went to a different store and bought 4 BK $10 gift cards that worked. I bought 2 other cards (Chili’s ) and paid for all 6 in one transaction.

  10. Tiffany

I did the Burger King cards in NC. It’s not in the ad but there is a sign up in the store

  11. Amanda N

It worked for me, Orlando FL. Got just the 2. Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yay! You’re very welcome Amanda! Happy you could grab the deal!

  12. Sarah

Awesome. I need some cabelas cards too!

  13. deb

thanks just left got. $40 in bk.for $20 and $30 in taco bell for $20!!!! great mailman, ups gifts

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

What a great gift idea! YW!

  14. Emily Adams

Does anyone know the denominations of the Domino’s cards?

    • Tracy

domino’s cards are $20 and up

  15. Brenda

I did $10 BK deal this afternoon but store had hard time getting card to “read” once they scanned it. I had to go to a different register. I went to another store to see if they had any different cards & they didn’t so I tried to do Burger King again and card never would read off the strip to activate so they may be fixing it so the $10 cards are unable to be purchased anymore with this deal? Anyone else have problems?

    • Katie

I just did it about 30 minutes ago

    • Just Me

Had the same problem but they kept trying and it went thru

    • katie

I just went to my store and got 2 $10.00 BK cards for 10. It took him a little while to get them to scan but he finally did and ge was surprised at the deal. Glad it worked cause i got these for christmas gifts..

  16. Aileen G

I went tonight and my local store was out of the $10 Burger King cards and the $10 Taco Bell cards. It looked like they didn’t carry the $10 Taco Bell cards and the employee said they were instructed to put the $10 Burger King ones away because they weren’t scanning correctly. Anyways I got six $15 Taco Bell gift cards all in the same transaction and it took off the $30 no problem. The employees didn’t even know it was going on, there was no sign up. Thanks H2S!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome to hear that! You’re so welcome!

  17. Kelsey

Thanks! Did the deal with no problems in Ohio. Got a $25 gift card to Chili’s for my brother for christmas and kept the $10 gift card to BK for myself!! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      That’s great Kelsey! You’re welcome!

  18. deb

I.also bought 2 $15 chilis for $20, 2 $15 taco.bell for $20 and then the BK ones. Great deal thank you!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Deb!

  19. Lisa

Thanks so much for posting this! I just went and got 2 to donate to the school for door prizes for an upcoming event!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      How sweet! You’re welcome Lisa!

  20. Bobbi

I tried to get two of the $15 Taco Bell gift cards, but the register told the cashier not to sell them. I showed her the ad, but there was no way for them to ring up the cards because the computer wouldn’t let them. They took the Taco Bell cards off the rack as I was leaving. I didn’t try it with the Burger King cards because they only had one left. The other cards were $25 and up.

    • Kristin

      I would totally call corporate

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Sorry to hear that Bobbi 🙁

  21. Kristin

I had a hard time getting the $10 BK gift cards to go through too… They had to scan them first and then the machines had a difficult time swapping the card through their machines to finish the process. I noticed on all of my receipts (did 5 different transactions) the last 4 digits don’t match any of the cards that I bought on the receipt; however, I went to the BK website to confirm and they all showed $10 on each card.

    • Just Me

I noticed they didn’t match also ( after I’d mixed up all the cards and receipts). Glad to hear they have the amount on them.

  22. JT91

You’re awesome! Just picked mine up. Great deal. Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re very welcome! 😉

  23. Lisa

Worked for me just a bit ago. I got 2 Burger King cards. I was hoping taco bell and cabellas came in smaller denominations but they didn’t.

  24. Scmckinney

Got mine, thanks! First dollar general they wouldn’t activate. Second one I went to, no problem.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Good! YW!

  25. Christine

They won’t let u use the taco bell ones

  26. Darcy

Apparently, the Dollar General stores in NorCal are having trouble as NOTHING would scan!!! The cashiers were wonderful but frustrated as no denomination was scanning. After an HOUR on the phone to corporate, the manager said they would be rebooting the whole system, and then maybe they would work. She thought maybe I should try again in the morning…

    • JT91

To anyone who gets a cashier who has an issue swiping these (as I’ve seen in several of the comments)… I had the cashier at mine have the same problem, she must’ve tried swiping them like 5 times and nothing…. but she called her associate and when the associate showed her to SCAN the BARCODE on the card FIRST and THEN swipe it….it worked then.

      • Just Me

The problem was with the swiping. I did a few deals and they would scan first and then swipe a million times slow or fast. Took a while but eventually went through.

  27. Stacey

I just bought the $10 BK gift cards for my teenage daughter to use as birthday / CHRISTmas gifts for friends. Cashier had a hard time scanning them, but she was persistent and got them all to go through. Fabulous deal! Thanks so much for letting us know about this amazing deal. 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Stacey!

  28. Tori

Just picked up 2 Dominos gift cards for my daughter’s birthday party this weekend! Super excited to get a great deal for the meal for the party. Thank you!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How fun! You’re so welcome Tori! Happy Birthday to your daughter!

  29. Lee

Okay now I am worried–I bought 2 cards and the cashier only scanned them never swiped them. My receipt has barcodes listed. Is there a way I can check online to see if they are validated?

    • April

My cards weren’t swiped however I just loaded it to the app and the balance is there so it may depend. Did you get ones where they had to choose how much to load on the card?

      • Lee

I chose Taco Bell cards and had $15 loaded on each card. I am giving as gifts so want to make sure they have an amount. Thanks for the tip I will try and check online

        • April

I got the $15 taco bell ones and the cards were only scanned and work fine. I loaded one to the app and the balance is there. Keep your receipt if you are worried but should be fine.

    • Kristin

Mine were scanned and then swiped; however, the 4 digits on my receipt for each card do not match any of the gift card’s last 4 digits…. I am a little concerned but when I check BK’s site, they all show $10.

    • Laura

      Yes. Google by giftcard

  30. April

Store only had 6 of the $15 dollar taco bell. I bought 2 only so someone else near me can score the deal. I wish they had more giftcards in stock but I am still happy I got something.

  31. Lindasloft

Thanks Collin! I got 4 of the Burger King $10 cards ($40 worth) for $20! Yah! My store in Toledo Ohio area also had a hard time swiping, but the cashier called the manager and he got them to swipe.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Sweet! You’re so welcome!

  32. Kenya

    I got mines!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yay!

  33. Cindy

The first store I went to one $10 BK card would not work when swiped. But I was able to get a total of 10 for $50. There were still some on shelf. I wasn’t able to go until after work. I will give to my college boys.

  34. Rozime

After some initial trouble at the first store with trying to scan the only two $10 BK cards they had (the gold ones) and not having it go through, I went to another Dollar General where I was able to find the $10 BK cards shown in the ad. These scanned with no problem and I got 4 for $20! Yaaayyyy…Thanks Collin!

    • Sarah

Yea the newer black Burger King cards wouldn’t scan at one store..she said sorry but said she was pulling them all immediately. Found a bunch at a smaller rural store the older ones with the white backs on them and they scanned no problem except the first one had to be fiddled with a few times but the rest no problems scanning. Woot! For the ones I was able to get. Maybe the “newer cards” are the issue with the system

  35. mindy

Thank you so much! Great stocking stuffers and teacher gifts!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great idea Mindy! YW!

  36. April

Thanks so much for posting! Went and picked some up for Christmas presents. Cards weren’t scanning at first they ended up having to take the cards off the packaging and then they worked.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad you could grab them! You’re welcome!

  37. Yolanda

You know where I’ll be heading it to tomorrow, lol! Thanks H2S!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome! Happy shopping!

  38. Cathy

Thank you so much for posting this! I was able to find some $10 Burger King ones at the second Dollar General I tried. 🙂 The manager had to move to a second register and scan multiple times to get the cards to read but his patience paid off! 🙂 This will really help feed my hungry bunch on our holiday road trips to see family! Thank you for all you and your crew do to help us save $! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So happy to help Cathy! You are most welcome! 😀

  39. Gorillamomma

Did this x 2 for $40 worth BK cards for $20. Thanks. Super easy

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Glad to hear it! YW!

  40. JT91

Isn’t that stealing? O.o …they might not do inventory on the cards because they are worthless in value, but the cards still cost them something so I would imagine taking a card out of any store without paying for/activating it is not allowed anywhere?…..

  41. Leslie

Anyone know if this works in Illinois?

    • Monika

It works in Chicago.Just bought 4 $10 Burger King cards for $20

  42. Allison

Thank you so much!!! I got $60 worth of Burger King gift cards for $30. This is an awesome deal!!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      How cool! You’re welcome Allison!

  43. April

I wouldn’t be caught dead doing that.

  44. V

I stopped this morning. My store was out of the BK gift cards, but I was able to get 2 of the Taco Bell gift cards. At the bottom of my receipt it said the gift card deal was from 11/13/16-12/10/16. Have they done this deal in the past? Will the stores restock their gift cards?

  45. Lindsay

Did it this morning. Worked perfect. He scanned then swiped them. Thank you!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Perfect! You’re so welcome Lindsay!

  46. Jessica

Got two these morning !!!AWESOME DEAL!!!!
Really helps when your on a really small budget !!!

    Thank you !!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Super glad you could score the savings Jessica! You’re most welcome!

  47. Jen

I went to two stores and at each store the cards wouldn’t scan and had to leave empty handed. 🙁

  48. M.

Both stores in our area had signs up that said cash only for gift cards. Had to make an extra stop at the bank but was able to get 4 burger king and 4 chili’s for teacher gifts.

  49. Jenn

ugh…my store said that it’s only good on certain amounts of gc, not just any with the right brand (i.e. had to be the $20 burger king card and not the $10 card. Had to buy 2 $20, not 2 $10 to receive the $10 off). They did not even have the $20 ones AND you had to pay cash to purchase the gift cards since they won’t accept credit cards to purchase them!

  50. Janet

Bought 2 $10 Burger King gift cards. Cashier had a hard time getting them to activate, but it finally worked. At the bottom of the receipt it said that this offer will be going on 11/13 – 12/10! That was in Trenton, OH.
