We have the radia rxt and LOVE it!
Awesome! Thanks for the feedback!
the olympia seat not 125.99
Thanks for the heads up Susie. I just fixed it. Sorry for any confusion. 🙂
The Olympia is not totaling the amount above….do I need a code to get it for that price?!?
Hi Jess, there was an error on the price written in the post, but it’s fixed now. Sorry about that!
I just bought the britax boulevard G4.1 in the slate color for $198 – which gives you $60 in Kohl’s cash. I also got the advocate ARB clicktight for $353 (more than $100 off!!) and that gives me $105 in Kohl’s cash. Not to mention I’ll get $25 in yes to you cash!
These are the BEST car seats! 🙂 especially for extended rear facing!
Which one is good for extended rear facing and what do you like about it? My son will be 4 in feb and no plans to switch him to forward facing any time soon. We have a recaro and a graco 4ever but just wondering if one of these is better? Thanks!
We had our dd rearfacing in our diono until 4y and 9m and she still hadnt hit the max. We love all 4 of outs 🙂
I don’t think it would be worth it at this point. I’m very pro extended rear facing, but I would just use your current seats until he reaches the rear facing limits. The highest these go to rear facing is 45 lbs, so unless your son is very small he probably would reach the rear facing limit soon. I did just get a Britax Frontier Clicktight for my
5 year old because it has the highest 5 point harness limits. It was also an awesome deal at $204 plus $60 Kohl’s cash!
Emily, we have a recaro and a diono rxt. Love them both but your son will definitely have more room and freedom in the Diono without sacrificing safety!
Thanks so much for all the replies! My son is tiny (still under 30 lbs, below 1% in weight) so he will probably outgrow height wise before weight, but thanks for all the info! We probably will stick with what we have for now but will keep this in mind for when we have another child!
The Olympia seat is not 125 . It says it’s 215.99
Just fixed the post. Thanks for letting us know. 🙂
The Olympia is not 125 for me either. I’m hoping there is still some way to get that deal.
I have 3 of the Radian XRT for my boys and love them! Very comfortable and not big and bulky like the Britax so you can fit 3 in a row. I still put one in the way back so my kids can’t touch each other. Makes for a bit more peaceful car ride 😂
How are these in small cars?
they’re fantastic! I have had them in two Elantras and a couple other smaller cars on occasion. Its not always a 30 second install but sometimes it is and its worth it since it makes 3 across in my compact car an option. my kids love it cause they can climb in on their own sooner cause it sits low to the seat not up on a base and they have always slept comfortably in our Radians as well. I have the Diono Angle Adjuster too that helps the seat to be more upright for older rear-facing kids and that makes it take less room (front to back) as well. we did use it in the newborn recline in my elantra too though, fit best in center but also had it outboard.
We have a RadianR100 in a Ford C-Max which is pretty small for a crossover. We went with this model because I saw online where someone had 3 across in the back of a C-Max because it isn’t so bulky in width. We currently have it rear-facing behind the passenger seat and I do have to put my seat forward a bit… we certainly couldn’t have it behind the drivers side. I wouldn’t suggest doing 3 rear-facing in a small car… but you could do 2 if the person who sits in the passenger seat doesn’t mind reduced leg room and your car has enough room at the console for a carseat in the middle.
By the way, if you go to a BuyBuyBaby or BabiesRUs, a lot of times they will take a carseat floor model out to your car to allow you to see if it fits. That’s what we did before buying it.
Does 75 in kohls cash mean you spend 75 minimum on next purchase and the cash takes off 75? Like getting a target gift card? (I coupon there the most so that’s what I am comparing to lol)
yes, Kohls cash is essentially a gift card but has a smaller window of opportunity to use it. it can be used on anything.
Thanks Collin and team!! I bought two Radian RXTs and the angle adjuster for our second vehicle. I waited and bought a gift card at my local grocery store so I could save $60 in gas in addition to the $150 in Kohls cash and $25 in Yesrewards 🙂 Almost half price after all of that. Luckily we have a bunch of stuff to get at Kohls to use up all that Kohls cash and rewards!
